FKABAM is a place for fun. We take our food seriously, but not ourselves. Tables are close together, and the atmosphere is loud and vibrant. Reservations are available four weeks in advance for parties of 1 to 4 guests. For parties larger than this, please email info@blackaxemangal.com

We keep a few spaces free for walk-ins as first come first served.

We serve an A La Carte menu which is published on our Instagram @fkablackaxemangal. Limited numbers of new and old fave dishes will be available to add to your meal each night. We also have options for vegetarian/vegan diners available upon request as well as some Gluten Free options- unfortunately we cannot cater for soy allergies.

Please note our cancellation policy and do not ask us to waiver fees if you forget to cancel within the time frame.

Incredibly expensive food for what we got, and whilst there were some interesting ideas on the menu, I just didn’t really get it. For example, it really bothered me that for the char sui pork with pork fried rice, they used basmati rice - which just would never be used in a more traditional style dish. Wanted to love this spot as I’ve heard great things, but it wasn’t for me.

Very disappointing. Small portion sizes and practically zerro onglet in the beef salad. Expect a full steak for £38 but we had tiny slithers and the rest was mainly offal , parsley and pickled onions. Totally overpriced.

Have run out of superlatives to describe this place. Took some friends and one of them asked what sort of food it was. “It’s f**king great food” was all I could really think of to describe it. It’s bold and brave and clever and nothing ever misses the mark. Some old favourites deliver as always - the borscht back, lamb offal flatbread, bone marrow with ox heart and bavette salad, charred hospital cabbage with fermented shrimp butter. It’s all amazing. It’s generally quite loud in there, the tables are close together, and the music, like the food, is probably best described as punchy. You could be listening to Snoop Dogg or Metallica as you fight over the last of the frozen lemon meringue pie or sink another excellent negroni / margarita. I’ll stop now. Just go. You won’t regret it.

So good. So, so, so, so good. Too loud to really talk to my brother whilst eating the incredible food, but gooooood.

Vibe was great, I've been hearing a lot about this place and had super high expectations, unfortunately it didn't meet them. Food had a lot of potential but was lacking seasoning, desserts were heavy and unimpressive. Still had a nice time but felt way to expensive for what it tasted like.

Delicious, couldn’t recommend highly enough. Lamb offal flatbread was out of this world.
