   Couple of small errors in the service (discount not applied, no vinaigrette with the oysters) which was otherwise very friendly but great food as always.

   We had a lovely experience. Batu who served us was especially friendly and attentive as were all the staff. The quality of the meal was excellent.

   My husband and I are regulars at Fishworks, usually popping in on a Sunday, a little tradition of ours. But this week, we happened to be in London a bit longer and couldn’t resist visiting not once, but three times in a row. What a treat! On our final evening, we indulged in the tasting platter — an absolute delight. We were looked after by the wonderful Katja, who, though clearly juggling a busy floor, still found the time to stop by our table with thoughtful food and wine recommendations. Her warmth and professionalism really added to the experience. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we ended up being the very last guests to leave. It turned out to be rather lovely — we had the chance to thank the chef personally and even shook his hand. A perfect ending to a perfect evening. We’ll be back, of course — it’s become one of our favourite places in London.

   Having visited this restaurant previously and being happy with the overall experience, we were disappointed on this occasioon with having to wait for nearly an hour for our starters. It seems as though there were insufficient staff (we visited on a Tuesday at 1900) and, despite their best efforts it was a pretty unsatisfactory experience. It didn't help that we weren't kept informed about the reason for the delay. The waiter did offer a coffee on the house to compensate for the situation! Our mains arrived without undue delay, which helped.

   Overall very good. Minor comments : Mussels were rather small and shrivelled otherwise starter was excellent . Monkfish portion on small size . Sea bass a little pricey for farmed I thought

   Food lovely, but not quite 5 star fishworks usually is. It’s an affordable option after/before an expensive day though I do suggest taking a walk to the Covent Garden one instead. If that’s not an option then just spend the extra money and go to Bentleys or Hawksmoor (yes the skeakhouse does fish and it’s fantastic)

   Warm welcome and great service from a very pleasant member of staff. Food was good and we had a very nice Sancerre. Dessert - apple and raspberry crumble - was delicious.

    Great restaurant with excellent range of seafood - everything we had was very well prepared and very tasty. Service was fantastic too.
