It’s permanently closed and should not be listed on Opentable. You guys need to do better. It ruined my evening to go and find out it’s a closed business at dinner time on Saturday night.

The place was closed. We received multiple emails confirming reservation, but when we arrived it was no longer there. This is the first time Open Table has let us down, but this was a total let down..

We made a reservation and the restaurant was closed and then we tried to cancel but could not since the restaurant was closed At this point we could not make another reservation and were stuck with no reservation on a Saturday. Why take reservations when you’re closed?

Wow what a surprise! My wife and I were looking for a new seafood restaurant to try and came upon the Fishmonger. It was delicious! They specialize in Crudo dishes which are small plates of fresh, often raw, seafood prepared with very unique flavors. We tried a couple of them and they were marvelous. Our main course meals were equally unique and extremely good. The location, as others have mentioned, is a little out of the way from the traditional "hot" dining spots in San Diego but who cares. They have parking; what a plus. The dining room is open and spacious. The server, Santiago from Spain, was knowledgeable and very professional. My wife and I have enjoyed fine dining from New York to Europe and beyond so we are always looking for "special" places in our local area. As we all know good seafood is not cheap but if you are willing to indulge it should be very, very good and the Fishmonger met our expectations in a very big way. My compliments to the owner, Frankie, chef, and all the staff at the Fishmonger.
