   Made a reservation. We were seated promptly and greeted immediately by our server, Lacey. We ordered the special, the NY strip and a side. The steak came out exactly as ordered. The steak was grilled too perfection and topped with garlic steak butter. The baked potato was hot and loaded. Lacey was fantastic, checking in to ensure our dining experience was to our satisfaction. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

    Outstanding! The food was perfect and more than ample. Our Server was very good, her presence was perfect in that as a need would arise, she was there and helpful, yet we did not sense that she was observant or present. On top of things she was! This made for an outstanding business meal and effective discussions. We will be back again.

    My parents came to visit. They wanted to take us out for a nice dinner. And we were so happy that we chose this place. First time diners here! Our server, Farah, was awesome! Food was delicious and too much. Kids devoured the desserts. Will definitely go back !

    Came here for a second time after having a terrible experience our first time. Almost felt like a complete different restaurant. Staff was attentive and gave great suggestions while also being friendly and kind. Much better experience!

    Glad we had a reservation because the place was packed all night. Cocktails & starters were great- our table shared the pork egg rolls & the lobster queso. Two of us had the salmon with lobster queso - holy cow was it delicious! The other two had filets that they said were really good as well. Took the carrot cake home & am still enjoying it! Overall, a five star experience. Summer, our server, was friendly, attentive & knowledgeable on the menu.

    Start of our meal was great but our server became ill and left and we were not advised and out table was sort of in the “twilight zone” and ignored for a period of time. Very sorry the server was not feeling well but would have liked to have been advised and assigned another server

    We were having a birthday lunch. This was the first visit for our son and daughter-in-law. They loved their meal! Our waiter was attentive and the food delicious! Like many people I have talked to they never saw this restaurant because it’s hidden between Scheels & Von Maur. The signage does not stand out either!

    I ordered the lobster which arrived at the table lukewarm at best. My ribeye was cold. The meal was not at all worth the price. Friendly wait staff, but probably won’t go back.

    My wife and I and a friend went to Firebirds for the first time on 2/24/23. The ambience was warm and comfortable. The noise level was appropriate. You could talk to each other without having to raise your voice. We had pasta, steak and a burger. All 3 meals were well prepared and cooked to order and delicious. Our server. Farrah was excellent and took good care of us. She was very knowledgeable on the menu as well as drink options. We had a very enjoyable experience and will go back again.

    The food was good. However, the service was questionable. We arrived at 6 PM and did not get served until after 7 o’clock. This was unacceptable. The server was obviously knew it was very polite, but did not follow up other people that arrived after us eight and left before we got our food. Also, the bread was hard. We are regular diners at this facility, and as a result recognize what the normal service should be.

    So we were very disappointed. We went early to enjoy dinner and have a couple drinks on fat Tuesday. Happy hour is posted as 430 to 630pm. We arrived at 545pm and were seated and ordered. The waitress then told us Happy hour was only in the bar, just a few feet away. Why? We are spending more by buying food but we don't get a break. Then I ordered my meal and when bill came it was $5more than menu. Turns out they gave me the lunch menu. If you get a menu with burgers on top it lunch menu. If burgers are listed near bottom its a dinner menu. Waitress made a smart remark like I could speak to their CEO if I wanted. I told her no need. I don't plan to return and to not recommend to all I know.

    Very poor service. It took us 1 hour and 38 minutes to get our food. After an hour, never received our appetizers, etc. Everyone kept apologizing but nothing ever happened. Saw manager twice. When the manager said our was coming out next, and it was another 38 minutes before we received any food.

    Took my mom for her birthday. Had been once before and wasn’t disappointed! Steak, delicious! Chicken pasta, delicious! Even got a complementary crème brûlée cheesecake desert with it being her birthday. Excellent service as well. Will be again for sure!

    We had a very nice evening at Firebirds. The food was excellent. I had the smaller ribeye and my wife had the honey garlic chicken. We each enjoyed our selections. We both started with old fashioned and they were prepared spot on. I later had their Dirty Bird (martini with olive juice and green olives with blue cheese). It was one of the best dirty martinis I have had. The service was great and at the right pace.

    Disappointed. We thought that places may be short staffed due to the KC ChIefs Super Bowl parade but this was an understatement. Pretty sure the bartender was also doing two or three peoples jobs. It wasn’t that busy - I’m fact it was pretty empty. The food was marginal. I’ve been here two or three times before and the food was incredible.

    I ordered an Impossible burger and loaded baked potato and my husband ordered a steak. His steak was fantastic but my burger was black, tasted like ash and hard as a hockey puck. The loaded baked potato came without the 'load.' I sent the burger back and they made me a new one, even more charred. It was as if the chef was offended I didn't order steak and wanted to teach me a lesson. Couldn't eat a bite. As for the potato, I asked for them to simply bring me butter and sour cream so I could eat my potato but they said they had to make me a whole new potato so the butter would melt, etc. and by the time I got it my husband had already finished his meal. So, really unsatisfying and disappointing. The manager did deduct the price of my meal, which I didn't/couldn't eat (without me asking), and also then gave us a free dessert, again which we did not ask for. So, they definitely took steps to rectify the awful meal, which is important. But I'd say stay away from the impossible burger at this restaurant.
