   It had been a few months since we were last at Firebirds and I was appalled at how expensive everything on the menu has gotten. Starters were in the 15- 20 per serving range and the entrees were as pricey as any 5 star restaurant. The food was good, the serving sizes were adequate, the prices were nuts (no other way to say it) so the value was just not there.

   It was Mother’s Day lunch. Very difficult for restaurants to keep up. They did a great job seating us on time. The service was very good. The food was excellent and everyone actually had extra for take home. It took a little while to get food, but that was expected for the day. Firebirds is always delicious and service always good.

   Was seated promptly. Food was excellent. Our server, Martel, was very helpful. A pleasant dining experience.

   Brian was a excellent server, courtesies, knowledgeable of the menu. Always checked on us during the course of our meals Thank you Brian !!!!

   Brunch was very disappointing! Shrimps and Grits was extremely watery and looked more like a bowl of gravy with a few shrimp and andouille sausage thrown on for decoration. The Brunch Burger did not have any taste and the fried egg was rubber like. The side slaw was tasteless and had me wondering if anything was mixed in the slaw. It reminded me of the bag slaw one buys at the grocery store. I usually do not post reviews however, it has been years since experiencing such a poor meal.

   Service was extremely slow. Shrimp was somewhat raw. Burgers weren’t seasoned at all. Food took way too long to arrive. Server was pleasant but had a habit of walking by without even looking at our table. Very atypical for a Firebirds, I might add.

   We had a couple of drinks and some steaks. Filets cooked perfect MR with blue cheese and port shrooms. Broccoli and mashed potatoes were good. Mules and sangria hit the spot.

    It took almost an hour for our starter food to be brought to us. It was originally brought to the wrong table, and we weren’t informed until I inquired. Our hostess was great, but the remainder of the experience was lackluster.
