Absolutely loved this restaurant. In the middle of Houston, located in The Galleria, Fig and Olive provides an elegant experience with perfected dishes that never make you feel bloated afterwards. While I had the Adana Lamb which was absolutely divine and cooked to perfection, my favorite dish was the Peach and Pistachio Frangipane Tart. A graceful dish that is not overly sweet. The raspberry sauce adds a much-needed acidic flavor to the dish in addition to the vanilla labneh which balances the sweetness of the tart. An amazing restaurant. I will most definitely go multiple times more.

I've dined at both NY location and have had exceptional experiences. When the Houston location opened I went early on and thought it was mediocre at best. I took my mother there this past Sunday for Mothers Day and it was one of the worst meals I've had in Houston in a long time! Would never return! Save your taste buds for the Meatpacking location in NYC!!

I’we went for Easter weekend- it was our first time. We had reservations and everything on that went smoothly. We sat outside and tho it took a while for us to be greeted at the table, the entire experience from there was amazing. The food was perfect and they accommodated allergies and dietary restrictions with zero problems. Every bite and cocktail was enjoyable until the last piece or sip. The staff, more specifically our waiter Alex was phenomenal and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience! We will definitely be back for the service alone but the quality of the food and drinks is a HUGE bonus!

This restaurant attempted to sit us within one foot of the two tables next to us in their conference room instead of the regular restaurant. Took 15 minutes to be greeted by any sort of sever. We left the restaurant without ordering

Valentines Day. Made reservation for 815, waited about 15 minutes after to be seated. Took 20-25 mins for drink from bar to arrive. Bartenders did not appear overwhelmed. Server kept blaming the kitchen for delays. First plate of food did not arrive for 30-40 mins. Venue appeared overbooked initially. Lights were not dimmed and tables were too crowded. Select items on menu advertised were not available. Should have spread out the crowded 2 tops for privacy. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone, ever. The steak and duck breast were quite underwhelming for a $100/plate meal.

Very slow service even though we were one table of an extremely empty restaurant. The NY strip was tough and grainy - a very low quality cut of beef and the price point was not justified at all. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful but the food and service were disappointing. For $100 per person, we were expecting better.

last time i will ever again Attempt to Dine alone as a successful independent woman of color because it is traumatizing in Houston Texas. A successful practice helping hundreds of people all over the world. Still i get no respect. The manager basically fake nice harassed me to order something when I had already ordered from my waiter. Then Upon returning from restroom table was cleared. No explanation. (Two occasions. Same thing happened. This was not a one off.) Then I was gaslit and told if I had left my purse and mobile phone they wouldn’t have cleared the table. I don’t know if it is customary to treat guests this way. But I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. My meal was comped when I hope they realize how illogical they were being, but still there was no accountability. The staff really knows how to be fun police and ruin things for people just minding their biz not bothering anyone. I got the hint I am not welcome. Not sure why. Some racism or bias was present it seems. I will be so glad when places like this get phased out of Houston. This is my neighborhood and i get treated like crap at dinner. Take it and shove it. Managers are narcissistic. Beware.

Fig & Olive was incredible! The atmosphere is dark and romantic, but fun. Perfect for any special occasion! Our waiter was kind, quick and made very delicious recommendations. We got the crusted octopus as an appetizer (8/10), the salmon (11/10) and the red snapper (the fish was 10/10 but the overall dish was 7/10). Their drinks were also so good and fresh! If you’re in the galleria area and craving very fresh and quality food, Fig & Olive will not disappoint! I will definitely be back.

Food was wonderful! Service was as well. Ambience was terrible when we were there. My wife and I were hoping for a nice, quiet evening meal. Well, two parties of over 25 people EQ h showed up and really loud, obnoxious music started to play. Some type of celebration. We can deal with people conversing and having a good time, but the loud music ( and I use that term loosely) we couldn’t. We just asked for our ticket and left.

Nice and quiet place. I like how relaxed it is! I always enjoy lunching in this restaurant. The service is great, and the food is tasty. I love their desert menu. My favorite thing is their mousse. Overall great presentation and great value!
