The food and service were excellent, lamb chops and salmon are highly recommend as are the scotch eggs!
Amazing service. The staff is all very nice and service is super quick! Good food. Nut allergy friendly which was a plus for me! Great cocktails as well. The loud Christmas carols the whole time were a little bit annoying. A different music choice would’ve made it perfect!
Food was amazing and service excellent, it a shame about the level of noise which was almost unbearable.
Music was so loud we couldn’t even speak, and it was just two of us. There were two giant speakers placed by the tables . It seemed to be more in a pub / bar than a restaurant, a real shame
Food isn’t as great as Delhi Farzi. Interesting cocktails tho.
The Cafe is well situated and easily reached
At first we didn’t like the place were were seated. Told the Receptionist and he kindly moved us to a comfortable romantic corner
The waitress was very good She explained the dishes and always with a smile. Highly recommend her
The menu is outstanding - I could have eaten everything on the menu. Service was perhaps a little bit slow but otherwise everything else was amazing down to the decor, drinks and food.
The food, the service, and the experience was wonderful. Looking forward to coming here again.
Food was ok. Service wasn’t what I expected, had to call waiter over having sat their for 10/15 mins. Even then not particularly attentive, the waiters were pleasant. Food was average, the lamb chops were full of fat. The wyagu sliders also full of fat and disappointing. Chicken starters were lovely however. Overall Was good but for their price point and poor service I wouldn’t recommend it
A very nicely furnished and decorated large restaurant. Plenty of room at the racks and an interesting menu. Some traditional Indian dishes on offer and some which were quite new to me. All very tasty and ample portions. A good range of beers and wine. Very pleasant dining experience.
Was really disappointed by quality of food.
Expected better at this high price point...
Music was too loud for dining, great if you are looking for a bar atmosphere but then the crowd was Auntijies, hijabes, drug dealers and Russian hookers.
-Food was nice not amazing
-Phone skills were awful (hung up and also didn’t take the call later)
- Possibly decent for a last minute date night .. but would not revisit
Very friendly staff and delicious food. The Amritsari Fish & Chips main course was superb as was the Avocado chaat starter. Don't normally see those kind of dishes in an Indian restaurant.
A bit pricy though for what we had, especially the vegetarian dishes.
Blown away by our dinner... compliments to the chef! The chicken Pau and Wagyu sliders were amazing! Will most definitely be back very soon!
Amazing food, service and ambience. Great place for a date or with a group of friends.
Food and service was average
We had to get the waiter's attention to order drinks on arrival and again to order our food and again to order more drinks....
Would have been nice if they had checked on us every now and then.
Food however was good as always.
Amazing food with lovely service..i would love to visit again
We booked the pre theatre menu but upon arrival it seemed quite limited so switched to the main menu. The waiter explained each dish and helped us make informed choices that were delicious! We were able to move tables as the people nearby were rather loud but handled without a fuss and new table was much better for us. Decent wine list and great atmosphere (upstairs) ... food was delicious!
They took our order but only brought us 1 out of the 2 starters. Then after 35 mins we asked them what happened to our second starter, they said they’ll chase it. But then we got our main dishes brought out after which the second missing starter arrived. But during this whole time for 35 mins no one checked on us or asked us if we were ok. We had to grab one of the waitresses attention to flag the missing food.
Taste wise the food was ok but my Artichoke korma dish was barely lukewarm. The Plates were freezing so as soon as we put any food on it, it’s go cold so we just ate straight off the serving dishes.
The ambiance is great and its not overtly busy but service needs a lot of looking at.
Atmosphere, service and ambience was perfect. Could not be faulted! The food however, whilst beautifully presented, lacked authentic flavour.
The restaurant overall is a nice place.
We ordered Butter Chicken Pao Sliders and they were nice, we ordered the chicken tikka which came out raw but we sent it back and got a nice portion.
The lamb chops weren’t my thing, but I can see why you would like them, they aren’t Tandoori, beware!
The goat shoulder was extremely fatty, and the biryani with it was horrible.
The CTM and the nihari were alright.
Overall a nice enough eat.
What a great find. Chosen at random because our first choice appeared to be closed for business, we were absolutely delighted. The food was delicious, as was the champagne cocktail which accompanied the set menu. We both chose the Roasted Pumpkin, Courgette Salad with Goat’s Curd Mousse and honey truffle, followed by Chicken Tikka Masala. We learned this restaurant had only opened in January 2019 but every element of the service seemed very polished and well-deserving of the Michelin plaque they had recently received. I'll definitely return and recommend the restaurant to friends wanting an up-market Indian cuisine experience.
Had the time of my life here, I actually cannot fault a thing. The restaurant host welcomed me like he knew me personally, I was quite taken aback. I loved the ambience, decor, hospitality and the food. The food was presented and cooked with thought and creativity. I feel Farzi Café calling itself a bistro is them underselling the experience. It was one of the most exciting nights I had had in while. Gaurav is a Godsend, thank you from myself and my friend Malaika for your impeccable service, it was an absolute pleasure and we hope to see you again when we return on another occasion.
Good service, very tasty food, small portions and desert was nothing special
Great atmosphere, amazing service, and most importantly...delicious and creative dishes. The staff were really attentive and I really liked the Ayurvedic theme for the cocktail menu. Can't wait to come back!
Bold effort to create a fusion menu with an Indian recipes. However a bit disappointed with the quantity and mains. Starters and desserts were delicious.
Unfortunately the food did not match the ambience or the prices. Seasoning was lacking on the mains but starters were fine. Underwhelming experience.
Guarav was exceptional in his service. Great tasting food.
Great ambience and music. The gentleman who served us was really attentive and friendly. The bone marrow was the highlight of the evening for us. Thank you for the special touches, dessert and making my partners birthday more special. The manager as well kept checking on us. Over all highly recommended.
Excellent food, innovative and delicious
Service was excellent also.
Only niggle was the music was a tad too loud. Sometimes hard go hear my friend speak
The galouti kebab starter was good. My wife ordered a tandoori chicken chops which was a bit under cooked and sweet( sweet tandoori chops was a first for us). I have never paid £7 for a bad mango lassi this record was finally broken here. Dont order the mango lassi. To be fare we went on diwali night and looked like they were struggling and had no time for taking proper care of their customers which can just asking if we are happy with the food. We had our starters and left. My wife has been to their branch in Delhi,India and has good things to say about it. I won't be coming back here unfortunatley.
We were told on arrival that we could not have the Diwali set menu because we had not pre-booked - this was extremely disappointing as we came especially for the Diwali menu and there was no option to select it when booking via open table.
The best quality Indian food I've ever had! Definitely worth it. Would just like more vegetarian/vegan options in this menu.
The food is great. The best lamb chops I've had, perfectly cooked.
The only thing that I was disappointed with was the state of the toilets. They were so bad. Dirty, messy, smelly, too dark. There was water all over the floor, tissue everywhere. It was disgusting and it was not only one toilet but all of them.
great food, great venue, service can be a bit slow, they could do with more staff but the food in this place is definitely worth the wait!
I was expecting it to be like the one in Pune India and was disappointed in that respect, but the food was nice and service good. Pune restaurant is spectacular and the London one is ordinary.
Lovely little find! We had an offer for the festival week menu so 3 courses for £30 with a glass champagne was amazing. Nice selection of yummy food!
The food was very tasty so it is well worth the visit but I found our waiter quite pushy..we ordered 5 dishes then the waiter wanted main order so we told him we would see how we feel.
