Just great and very good and helpful service!
Our reservation was honored within a few minutes. We were given a lovely table amongst the apple trees on the patio. Drinks took a long while to get but they were delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful and the food was so tasty- trout was perfection and the hamburger special fantastic - glad we shared them both !
The restaurant was excellent in many ways, however they were out of two things we wanted to order, which was disappointing. They need to plan better.
Food is competent ... and eminently forgettable. The service feels a bit chaotic.
Love this place, never disappoints.
Such a great experience! The food was delicious and the service was great. We started with the burrata with the prosciutto added. This was such a great appetizer!! For entrees, we had the pork chop and the trout. The flavors of both dishes were spot on. Manny was our server and had great recommendations and provided great service! The farmstead Pinot paired great with everything!
We absolutely loved this place. The food was fresh, local and excellent. The service was terrific. Highly recommend.
Food was great! Fresh. We had the ham biscuits, burger, and chocolate pie. It was our anniversary and they brought us complimentary sparking wine. Nice touch. Great outdoor area (other than smoke from the nearby wildfire. Not within their control). Would definitely go again. One of our favorite meals.
Unfortunately not their fault but the power was cutoff due to red flag wind concerns...
I return time and time again to Farmstead because I have never been disappointed! Food and service are fantastic without loosing your wallet. Ambience inside and out is just wonderful. I'll go back soon!
Farmstead is truly a place that (for me) has improved over time. This visit was enjoyable - an odd start as we were sat outside but not asked if we wanted in or out. The hostess was a bit off-putting as she seemed to approach what she was doing indifferently and was not engaged. It was a chilly night and we were sat with no heater nearby. Our waiter was a rock star, witty, engaging, responsive and available. He even rolled a patio heater close to the table for us with no hesitation! Four out of five dishes were super (only the artichoke was a miss) and it was a good value for the money spent. It was late and had the misfortune to end up sitting near s very loud, very drunk group of 4, but the service and food made up for any awkwardness along the way. Be warned that the inside is quite loud when at or near capacity, and if outside at night take care to sit near a heater. A great place for tourists and locals alike.
Delicious! I would definitely return. It wasn’t a cheap dinner, but we tried a lot of dishes and had lots of leftovers so overall not too bad.
We had a good time after a long day of wine tasting. The restaurant is super cool with great decor and an on-point staff. The food was great (we had the Trout, cheddar biscuits, meatballs and the waiter was nice enough to let us sample the St Louis Ribs so that we’d know for next time). We will definitely be back!
10 out 10. We ate outside. Everything was top notch.
Food was great. Service was good. Waiter was very nice and tried hard. It took a bit to get her attention but the place was packed and i did notice that she had tables in different areas of the restaurant.
We have been to Farmstead many times and it definitely is our favorite restaurant in Napa Valley. The food is amazing and we always get the same server (Kat) and she is fabulous! You can’t beat Farmstead! If you want to go, make sure you make your reservations as early as possible.
Great service, great food and a wonderful dining experience.
Terrific food! Waiter was very pleasant and wanted to make sure we were served our food as best for us. Great place to mix appetizers with regular menu. Lamb burger was outstanding!
Just celebrated my birthday here and also celebrated our anniversary here a couple of weeks ago! That says it all!!
Our server Patrick was fantastic! Perfect balance of checking on us and letting us enjoy! And the food is always amazing!
I have enjoyed farm to table restaurants from Maine to Texas , but this menu and restaurant rates at the bottom for dinner.
We waited so long for our table (for the second time in two weeks) that we decided to leave and eat somewhere else.
Overall, the experience was just ok. We ordered the fried chicken dinner, which was very tasty, but the size of the pieces of chicken was disappointing for the price, and the breasts indistinguishable from the thighs. The cupcake that came with the meal was either over cooked or stale (we also ordered the cram pie, and that was very good). The atmosphere was very nice, but the meal was not up to par.
This was our first time dining at Farmstead Long Meadow Ranch. I saw the restaurant on the food channel and thought the next time I am in Napa Valley I will give it a try. We were celebrating our anniversary. We were seated and almost immediately Jennifer, the manager bought us each a glass of champagne and wished us a happy anniversary and welcome to the restaurant, what a nice start to a lovely evening. Our server was Katarzyna.. She was excellent, (if you go ask for her) very professional , warm personality . Her only goal is to make sure you have a great meal and a great experience. It is a beautiful place to dine for any occasion and you would be very lucky if Jennifer and Katarzyna were working on the day of you visit. I cant wait to visit again next year.
Absolutely delicious place to eat. The scenery is beautiful and the food was amazing. A must visit!!!
This was our 2nd visit & we’ve enjoyed it both times. The seasonal items (heirloom tomatoes with burrata) were fantastic! I had the chicken while he had the ribs & we were both happy.
Reservations were a must for a Sunday brunch reservation.
Our party of four ate on the patio area ... it was beautiful. Our server did a great job...patient, informative, and funny. We were allowed to order off the brunch AND the lunch menus.
Everything was very good. The trout, cheeseburger, pulled pork sandwich, and chicken were all good. The beignets were a great ending.
This was a favorite.
This was a 65th birthday dinner that I had made reservations in advance. We were seated outside, round table near the walkway to the bathrooms. The heater did not work. Took awhile to resolve. Just felt like we were an afterthought. Won't go back.
Everything was fantastic! Burrata, deviled eggs, Mac and cheese and meatballs!
Service was slow despite not being full. Pork chop came out raw and had to be returned.
Farmstead is always my #1 stop in the Napa area. ORDER THE HAM SANDWICHES, I don't care what you are going to eat but start with those. The pork chop is always perfect and just try to save room for their deserts.... good luck!
Rich was our server this time and he was very memorable and charismatic. He made my husbands birthday extra special and recommended some great beers. We can't wait to go back!
Good lunch again... tough parking ...food great .... pretty well kept place
We had a fantastic time here and met our nephew from NYC. He is a Pescaterian and there were plenty of meals to choose from. Only three of us… But we ended up eating family style and it was so well done. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants fresh local food!
We love the Farmstead, and try and go every time we visit the area. A really good example of a farm to table menu. Sometimes it’s a bit crowded but always worth the wait! Try the ribs!
Great food great service would definitely recommend.
Wife and I were visiting from Kansas and felt right at home at the Farmstead - Ha! Great atmosphere in the main dining area. Nice outdoor bar area. Food was very good and prices reasonable. We would go back the next time in Napa Valley.
Lunch at the Farmstead was a truly memorable experience. Everything from the fresh vegetables, to the affordable and extensive wine list, to the service and setting was truly fantastic. This is the kind of restaurant that you can visit again and again, because the menu is always changing; in fact it had just changed the day before we ate lunch there.
Went to Farmstead for a weekday lunch with my husband. We sat outside- a gorgeous day- and had an amazing lunch. In spite of the proximity of the restaurant to Hwy 29, the outside patio was pleasant and quiet, the service impeccable, and the food fresh, creative, and delicious. Loved it!
We had a lovely celebration for our 24th anniversary celebration. We love that we can sit outside with our dogs and eat!
I've been here several times and it is fantastic. I wanted to lick my plate after every course. Outside seating is lovely. Always busy so have a reservation.
