We had a reservation for 8:45PM, we were seated immediately. Water and bread were brought out quickly. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was great, including dessert. Definitely a place I will return to for a great meal, nice surroundings and good service.

The only suggestion i would say is that the front desk of restaurant should answer the phone, or return calls, we were running little late and wanted to let them know, but that i would be there, almost did not go to restaurant, because i was not getting a call back. but i made it on time.

I have been to RG for lunch and dinner. Friday nights dinner was o.k. The swordfish was not hot by the time it came to the table. As a matter of fact, it was a very THIN slice compared to the other similar plates that were being served. The waiter, both my daughter and I, thought she was impressed with herself. Maybe it was just her personality, or mine. But no big deal.
My daughters COD was steaming! when they brought her plate and it was a huge piece!

The carrot cake in the mason jar was delicious.

It will be a while before I come back.

The overall ambience of the restaurant is consistent with the Roger's Gardens' aesthetic. however that's where the serenity ended. We were immediately struck by the noisy environment, making conversation difficult. The waitress was prompt, and prompting, with a jokiness that fell short of cute and amusing. I felt we were being less than subtly moved along so as to accommodate a typically large waiting crowd. We both ordered the scallop salad which was delicious, but included a mere 2 scallops (the waitress noted these are allotted per weight). Lunch without alcoholic beverages was about $60 per person including tip. So in the end we didn't find there was value here.

This was our second visit, and it was completely different than the first. Our first visit was almost magical. Creative food well served in a beautiful environment. This second visit was disappointing in many ways. The server appeared to know little about food and wine, mispronouncing several words. (Merlot does not end with a hard “t”.) Our entrees were brought when we were halfway through the first course. A manager said that they would take them back and bring us new ones at the right time but, when they were brought to us, it was clear that they were the same plates, now luke warm. We had trouble for most of the evening even attracting the waitress’ attention. The bus boys did their work loudly and obtrusively. I believe that everyone deserves a chance, but there appears to be a real need for some front of the house training. Brilliant food with coffee shop service.

Excellent food and service and you can't beat the ambiance. We were celebrating a friends birthday and had brought some small cupcakes for dessert which I guess does not comply with their house policy. The manager was very kind and let us have them anyway and now we know better for next time. ;o). But they dealt with the issue so wonderfully. Also such beautiful atmosphere! We will definitely be back!

Always enjoy dining here. A first choice when meeting friends in the area. Often pop in by myself for a late lunch and just grab a seat at the bar, otherwise always need reservations. Great menu

Made a reservation through OT indicating that it was a special occasion- a birthday. The restaurant never acknowledged the occasion. My daughter had the roasted chicken with vegetables which was so-so, and I had the cod. My dish was overcooked, dry and tasteless. The food is painfully mediocre, especially for the prices they charge. Two entrees and one average glass of wine- no appetizer, dessert, soft drink, etc- was just under $100 with tax. I know it does a very brisk business with the ladies who lunch in Newport Beach, but there's much better options in the area at that price point, especially at dinner.

I would recommend this restaurant to a friend with reservations. The salads we had were wonderful, but the salmon I had added to mine was overcooked and not very good. My biggest complaint was that pinot noir was the best wine for both my friend and me and the only one available by the glass was not very good. At the price they charged for the wine, it should have been much better. I don't know if I will want to go back... probably not.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch for my mom's birthday. Made reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. Wonderful food including short rib. Lemon Cheesecake was fantastic. Service was on point. If you are looking for a nice place to celebrate a special occasion, Farmhouse at Rogers Garden is the place to go. We will be back.

Great restaurant. One of my favorites. Good wine list. However food is hit and miss, and some of it is overpriced and not very good, such as the whitefish special. The Bloody Mary was terrible. Other dishes are very good. I think brunch is probably better than dinner. I'll still go back. Just be careful on what you order. They also need more vegetarian options. Virtually none.

Memories here are bright and melodic with good company. A lovely afternoon can be spent touring Roger’s gardens with friends/family pre or post culinary “voyage.”

Compliments flowed, smiles spewed forth post warm libations. Chopped grilled vegetable salad intrigued all on a blue plate.

Panko, Dijon and Citrus Crusted Icelandic Cod is/was “come le paradis!” Dahlia stood tall on table with a b-swallow. Dine here.
