Winner of The Smart Green Guide's USA Discovery of The Year award, Fabrik is Austin’s first 100-percent plant-based tasting restaurant featuring curated menus that highlight the diversity of plant-based cuisine in an intimate, sophisticated setting.

Led by Executive Chef-Owner Je Wallerstein, Fabrik is focused on seasonality and sustainability, sourcing produce and ingredients from local growers and provisioners wherever possible. We offer an eclectic selection of vegan, biodynamic and organic wines, including an optional wine pairing. Fabrik also offers saké as well as a range of non-alcoholic options.

We offer two fixed 7-course tastings at 6pm and 8:30pm Tues-Sat. With 4 distinct seasonal menus each year, our cuisine highlights Japanese, Nordic, and Italian flavor profiles. Fabrik is 100% independently owned and operated - we look forward to hosting you!

An absolutely outstanding experience. This was not our first visit but every time we dine at Fabrik we are amazed by the delicious and transformative food. They made our anniversary dinner extra special with a glass of rose. This spring menu somehow exceeded all expectations and if I could have that red lentil sauce every single day I'd still never get tired of it! Highly recommend it and can't wait to come back for the summer menu.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Austin. My husband and I waited for a long time to get into Fabrik, and the dinner experience was so worth the wait. We are really into healthy eats, and love and appreciate gourmet, high-quality cuisine. Fabrik is truly a one-of-a-kind experience- nothing like anything in Austin. The restaurant is very small and intimate, which added to the experience for my husband and I. It is the perfect date night spot. The staff are all so wonderful. You are greeted by Mary, who is the kindest woman, and who goes out of her way to make sure your night is beyond expectation. Our waitress (and sommelier!), Mariah, was amazing, too. She was so knowledgeable about not just the taste profile of the wines, but of the backstory and why it was important to Fabrik. We chose the wine pairing to go along with the food tasting menu, and loved everything. Really- there was nothing we did not like. They select all their ingredients with purpose and it really shows when you taste it. I loved the homemade breads (TWO of them- parker house rolls and focaccia with 3 different dips), the pea pasta and the desserts. I cannot even pick a favorite- that's how great everything was. We learned this restaurant is run by a duo (who prepare everything personally), and opened Fabrik because of their love of vegan cuisine. You can always tell when someone is creating food to just sell you food, or when someone truly cares about the process and what they serve you. It is a big difference. We are so excited and ready to go back. I could eat here every weekend. It truly is that wonderful and delicious.

WOW! The experience at Fabrik FAR exceed expectations. The meal at Fabrik is in the top two of my lifetime! The food was amazing! The beauty of the presentation was outstanding! I normally never photograph food but I did at Fabrik. You would never know this is a plant-based venue by the taste of the food. The chefs are brilliant! The staff was fantastic! I sent notes to several friends to tell them about the Fabrik experience and plan to return again soon! THANK YOU for the wonderful memories!

Unbelievable! A group of meat eaters who say it’s the best meal we’ve had in a long long while. The service and food were a level above what you ever get in Austin’s many wonderful restaurants! Don’t let vegan dissuade you! Thank you to everyone at FABRIK for a lovely evening and an amazing meal!

Outstanding food as always. Seven courses, adding up to just enough food to feel well-satisfied but not stuffed. Insanely good taste and great presentation. We will be back for the summer menu.
