Owned and operated by the Teas family for over 15 years, Eugene's (formally Danton’s Gulf Coast Seafood Kitchen), continues to serve Houston's finest Cajun-style Gulf Coast Cuisine. Conveniently located between Montrose and River Oaks. The restaurant is a neighborhood spot where everyone feels at home.

Join us in celebrating the flavors and traditions of the Gulf Coast in a charming, casual-fine dining atmosphere. All our dishes are made from scratch (except the Ranch dressing and Blue Bell ice cream) and our seafood and steaks are grilled over a wood-burning fire of oak and hickory. If you like seafood you must visit this place once. Everything we ordered, (crab cakes, peel and eat shrimp, catfish, oysters, corn and crab bisque , halibut, seafood courtboullion) was perfectly prepared and seasoned just right. Service was very attentive and friendly. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back.
