We enjoyed a leisurely Sunday Brunch at this lovely neighborhood spot. Service was very friendly but on the slower side, due to a small staff. Best to go when you have time to relax and enjoy the great food!
The food, ambiance and service were all spectacular! I just moved to the block and will be frequenting Emilia for sure!
Oh my gosh! I’m in love! This is my new favorite Italian restaurant! Loved the ambience the pasta made on the premises as well as the decadent bread basket. What a tremendous staff too! Carmelo is so knowledgeable and takes such good care of you! A+
The restaurant is very pretty with a delightful ambience. The food left a lot to be desired. It was okay at best.
Amazing experience. Amazing food. The Peach Caprese was such a unique dish - excellent!! Great staff interaction. The lead waiter was hilarious and very engaging. We sat outside so the noise level was from the street which was tolerable.
I went on a date night with my boyfriend here the other night. First of all, the ambiance and music was amazing and super romantic and the servers were so nice and knowledgeable. Then the food and wine were INCREDIBLE! We started with the meatballs and he got the papardelle circles and I got the bolognese. We both agreed that the bolognese was a must have as well as the meatballs. It was amazing and I am going to be recommending it to everyone!
fantastic presentation of branzino, and food was tasty. we ate outdoors with a mixed reaction-----it was not a "NY cafe" ambiance, but more like getting caught outside in traffic; felt too much like being on the street near a busy intersection, and could see the homeless tents parked on Burton Way. But a top 10 branzino for sure.
It was not what we expected. It was more like a coffee shop then a nice restaurant. Service was good, but ambiance and menu were fair.
Very quiet, no one there on a weekday. Food was great. Music was nice. Maybe a little more eventful on weekends? We’ll see. Food is pricey, but it was definitely yummy.
Great food and experience. Helpful friendly staff. Open availability for breakfast during the week. Will definitely come back.
Very nice food and music.
Delicious food, wonderful service.
The food was amazing and we had great service
Convenient location. The food was amazing.
Service top notch
The perfect place for outdoor dining. We sat on the backside, away from San Vicente, and it was just right for conversation.
Everything was very good, from the brussel sprouts appetizer to the entree, our party of four enjoyed the eggs benedict with truffles, the pasta bolognese, the pollo diavolo and the sole fillet. The desserts were equally divine, we each had a different dessert, tiramisu, creme brulee, bread pudding and the panna cotta. The service was excellent and entertaining.
It was our first dinner out with friends since CIVID started. We chose to sit outdoors. Everything was just great. The heaters helped tremendously and it was a full house. It was great to see others out too.
The food was excellent and the service was the same!
We will be back!
Great service, ambiance, and food. I will definitely be back.
Great Service, good food and beautiful place.
The best pasta I have ever had!
Nice dinner at a great restaurant. The dishes are inventive and delicious. Service is unrushed and also very good. A good place to return to again and again to try something new.
wonderful food and good service, but not enough servers for the amount of customers, so our meal took too long to be delivered. The servers, however are very nice, friendly, and accommodating.
Delicious food! Tranquil setting with excellent service.
Authenitic Emilian cuisine. Very well prepared and delicious. Everything we ordered was excellent. Definitely will return. Service could use improvement; it should not be necessary to ask 3 times for more water.
Sat outside to enjoy a relaxed dinner with my friend - place definitely filled up during main dinner time. Delish food and would def return - very cute place and I love that they carry Lambrusco's!!! Would highly recommend the dishes we ate: fried shiitake mushrooms w truffle oil (it's great you can actually taste & smell the truffle oil on this app), meatballs in tomato sauce (fresh tasting tomato sauce), short ribs w risotto (my friend said it was so buttery/smooth tasting) and their tagliatelle Bolognese (the noodles had the perfect light and homemade texture). Loved it and would come back! Such a cute hidden gem of a find! I parked one one of the streets but apparently you can park in the Trader Joes parking lot and the restaurant will validate - win/win since this area can be hard to find parking!
Had a great early dinner at Emilia. Food was impressively good - interesting blends of flavors and excellent preparation. Definitely worth a repeat visit.
This restaurant is a great find as a neighborhood restaurant with excellent food. The staff were so nice and created a pleasant experience. I plan to visit there soon for Italian food nearby.
Good, not great.
This is decent Italian food, but not great. The ambiance on this strange corner in adjacent Beverly Hills is nice because it does not feel rushed or too much of a scene. The pastas were good, slightly overcooked, but edible. Overall, a place to come more to have dinner with the people you're with than FOR the dinner itself.
Wonderful Ambiance, great pasta, friendly and knowledgeable staff, definitely recommend!
Pleasant atmosphere, attentive service and food was ok. I ordered risotto and it was the ugliest plate of food I’ve ever seen. Literally just a plate of slop. No garnish, no green, no shaved Parmesan, no nothing. Dreadful. Tasted ok.
But the meal was decent overall. Just need to work on plating.
Delicious food, a great patio in Beverly Hills - Loved it
Angelo great service.
A trattoria where the pasta was underwhelming (it needed salt and I cook with very little salt!) and the wait staff was friendly but overwhelmed. Plus they yelled(!) back and forth to each other.
GIVE THIS PLACE A BREAK. The room is plain, the décor uninspired, the parking is FUBAR (around the corner, down the ramp, up the elevator, to walk to the restaurant – but they validate). Get over it. The food is superb. Our calamari, shrimp and stuff to start so good we had to order another. Tender chicken breast flattened and sautéed with delicate artichoke sauce was the manna that goes with the ambrosia. The pasta Bolognese was properly al dente and the sauce actually tasted like what we had in Bologna (not the red meat sauce with a pretentious name you often get instead of the real thing). Service was perfect. Friendly, knowledgeable, intelligent and there when you wanted, not when you didn’t. No full bar but, though not an overpowering wine list, a very serviceable (varied and delightful) list of wines by the glass (and bottle). If you’re thinking of investing in a restaurant, think of Emilia (with a better location); this place should skyrocket with people who love good food and good people. In the meantime you'll just have to be satisfied with great food, perfect wine compliment and wonderful service.
everything was nice! the food and service.
All our group enjoyed the food & the outdoor ambience. Waiter arranged to fix me a pasta with shrimp & pink sauce, menu lacks seafood pastas. Salads were really good as well as seared tuna. Desserts were great, did not like the jam in pana cotta, thou tiramisu & creme brule were really exquisite. Very good expresso. It was nice they validated parking for whole day so we took a stroll in Beverly Hills.
Food was mediocre. Service same. Great setting. My group didn’t have same complaints. Was too pricey for what I received.
The food was excellent, we ordered pasta and branzino. The vegan broccoli also soo good. The waiter was attentive and helpful making suggestions. The dining outside was fine; just a bit loud due to being on a busy street. Overall a really nice experience, although a bit pricey.
Had a reunion here and was v impressed. Great food, environment and service. Will absolutely be back. Thanks!
