Located at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin, Emeril's Coastal is the first of Emeril’s Restaurants in Northwest Florida. The cuisine of Emeril's Coastal is symbolic of Emeril’s deep appreciation and connection to the water. Combined with the bountiful variety of nearby fresh Gulf seafood and the freshest local ingredients available, Emeril’s Coastal strives to embark you on a seafood experience like no other. The menu features specialties like Gulf Shrimp Cocktail, Florida Rock Shrimp Rolls, and Oyster Spaghetti. The design of the restaurant compliments the menu using an earthy mix of textures to create a casual, coastal feeling that is complete with elegant and sophisticated touches.

    Emeril's Coastal for years was a destination place for us when visiting, which is a few times a year. But it seems much has changed over the past year. For starters, it took a long time to be seated when there were plenty of options. We opted for a high top table in the bar area, with all 5 tables open. No reason it took 20 minutes to sit. Took about another 20-30 minutes to get our drink order for 3 of us. Our app's came out before the drinks, which I've never experienced there. Food was fresh as always, but portions seemed much smaller than before. For a place that wants to be upscale, has everything al la carte, I feel for an almost $300 meal very underwhelmed. Not sure if we'll return in future sadly.

    Sat as soon as we walked in for our reservations. Had 2 tasty cocktails and shrimp cocktail & a wedge to start. Husband had the whole Snapper fish with crab and I had the crusted red fish. Both dishes were super yummy and fresh. Finished with a delicious key lime pie!

    Awful evening....from the hostess debacle, slow service, okay food and out of filet mignon at an Emeril's restaurant. Wow...sad. Maybe an off night for them. You could see staff was ill-prepared to handle. Not an enjoyable evening.

    We had another outstanding experience at Emeril's. The drinks, food, and service were excellent, as always. As regular customers, we have consistently enjoyed top-notch dining experiences here. It's unfortunate that some disgruntled tourists have left negative reviews, but we have never encountered any of the issues they mentioned. Emeril's remains our go-to spot on Grand Boulevard.

    Great restaurant and service. Our wedge salad was fantastic but he fish portion in the fish and chips was a little sparse (only one piece of fish) and wasn't as flavorful as we thought. We asked for salt but they couldn't find any at first (surprising at a restaurant!). When they brought it none would come out--maybe it was outside and the humidity got to it?

    Disappointing. Service was subpar. Rushed the food out before even finishing appetizer despite assurances Bread came out late when we were done And still charged. Not emerils caliber at all

    Food was delicious. Took a long time to get our food and the portions were shockingly small, very overpriced. If it had been advertised as one of the $$$$ restaurants with a dress code, linen tablecloths, where you are expected to order 3-5 courses, etc, we could’ve had different expectations and would not have gone there with our family. We ordered 2 appetizers to share amongst our party of 7 in addition to our meals…had to go home and eat leftovers bc we were still hungry.

    What experience? We made a reservation for 7:15, got seated right away and dinner arrived as we decided to get up and leave....at 9:30. Worst vacation dinner experience ever. We got dressed up, expected to have a wonderful dinner, I mean it is Emeril Lagasse's afterall. We did better taking our party to Chik Fil A afterwards because nothing else was available.

    From start to finish ish it was awful. We arrive for our reservation 10 minutes early. They acted as is the table was ready then left us sitting for 25 minutes prior to seating. The waiter missed my daughter in laws drink order to start. Then he was too busy flirting with the table next to us to get anything right from there. The food took forever. Then when it did arrive was missing my entire food order! My daughter’s med well burger was charcoal seared on the outside to the point of tasting burnt and raw inside. Totally inedible. My steak finally arrived 15 minutes later and instead of medium was blue rare. The waiter didn’t seem to care about the issues and the manager did remove the forgotten meal and inedible burger and comped the 2 desserts (ya, a third time they forgot an item ordered !!! Because we ordered 3!). Maybe the waiter was on drugs and the kitchen was missing their leadership for the night but for this price point they missed by a mile. I’ve had consistently better meals and service at Longhorn for 25% the price of this mess. I’d save your sanity and go somewhere else, which is terribly sad since I learned how to cook from Emeril and couldn’t wait to eat here.

    We returned to Emeril’s on two occasions this week. The level of service has clearly improved and floor management was visible. Food quality was great with unique flavors. Appreciation to Kelly who renewed our confidence in this establishment.
