Emeril's Coastal delights with fresh, "superb" food and an inviting atmosphere. Highlights include expertly prepared seafood, unique dishes like "pineapple upside down cornbread," and attentive service. Some diners noted slower service and high prices, but many praise the "great food and incredible service" as a standout choice for a memorable dining experience.

I am local and we visit often. I took two first time people to Emeril’s and the food was excellent. My only issues were that it was incredibly loud!!! My elderly mother in law found it too noisy and it was loud for even myself. Also, my husband went to the restaurant at the end. It was close to closing and the cooks and waiters had barricaded the door and said out of service at first . They were smoking something in the men’s restroom. They finally opened the door and said sorry. My husband was shocked. He said the were up against the door the door so he couldn’t walk in. It was close to closing time. Overall, no complaints with our food and server!!! It was just the end…which didn’t affect our experience. Just a note

Not the same Emeril's experience we've had in the past. Granted it was a Sunday @ 6p, but seems that they've let their guest standards slip, almost felt like we were sitting at beachside bar vs the traditional establishment of fine dining in the past. Separately we ordered raw oysters and they were without oyster forks and spoons which seems odd given the season. Generally speaking the quality of the food was just OK, the service was as expected but nothing exemplary and the QRP wouldn't be very notable.

I enjoy dining solo and do so often—it’s something I look forward to, especially while traveling. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. I booked a reservation weeks in advance, but the system only allowed me to reserve a counter seat for a party of one. I left a note kindly requesting a table in the dining room, but that was not accommodated—even though several tables remained empty throughout the night. The counter itself felt a bit isolating, and the wooden stools lacked the comfort of the rest of the space. Service started off slowly—it took 17 minutes before a server approached me, long after guests around me had already been helped. When my server did arrive, she seemed surprised that I was dining alone, which set an awkward tone. I asked about bourbon options for a cocktail, and instead of guidance or a menu, she searched her apron and walked away without answering. I didn’t expect a full rundown, but a little direction would’ve helped. The food itself was solid. My entrée was flavorful and well-prepared, and the Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. That said, the pacing was off—my drink didn’t arrive until after my first course, and each subsequent drink followed the same delayed pattern. At one point, my plate was cleared before I was finished, and when dessert came, I had no silverware left and had to flag someone down again. While I was halfway through dessert, the server stopped by and asked if I needed anything else. I said no, and without hesitation, she handed me the check. It felt like a clear signal that my time was up—even though I was still enjoying my meal. The evening ended with a sense of being rushed and quietly pushed out the door. There’s talent in the kitchen, and the food shows it. But the service and overall guest experience, especially for solo diners, left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t discourage others from going, but I won’t be rushing back.

First of all, this place is trendy looking but not trying. We wanted to eat at the bar as usual (it was very comfortable and we had great service there.) We started with drinks, perfect espresso martini followed by pineapple upside down cornbread-I will order again and again!! I wanted lighter fair and ordered the shrimp cocktail (perfect) and the mixed greens salad (this salad was good, but it had, for my taste, too many sun dried tomatoes). My hubby had the barbecued shrimp which he said were delicious. He had the burger for his main, cooked medium as ordered. For dessert, the key lime pie was too good! When back in Sandestin, we will go back to Emeril’s Coastal!

I will visit this restaurant again. A fantastic experience from the ease of booking the reservation to the front door hostess, to the server to the meal... excellent. I ordered the fillet mignon special. It was the largest fillet I have ever had at a restaurant. It was cooked to order and was perfect. It beef cut like warm butter. The flavor was amazing. The server was attentive and professional. The restaurant was clean and the lighting was warm and comfortable. It was a great dining experience.

Very disappointing. “Fish and Chips” was a single over cooked small piece of cod that was hard to chew served over some type of tasteless boiled or baked potatoes instead of french fries like the rest of the world serves as “chips.” The “tuna wrap” wasn’t wrapped in anything other than a piece of lettuce. Just a horrible, over priced meal. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs. Any of the other restaurants in the Grand Boulevard are far superior to this one.

Food was good. Not great. Have been before and it was much better. The fried chicken and andouille crusted red fish was great. Smoked fish dip not so good. Service was decent. Was there to celebrate my son's birthday and they actually charged us $14 for the birthday desert when most restaurants give it complementary especially since we ordered a lot of other items. Very disappointing and thought of giving one star just for that. Doubt I'll return. Very disappointing since I typically love Emril's restaurants.

Waitress was not good. She did not explain the menu. Waters were not filled and did not bring second cocktail when asked her.

Seated 15 minutes late, rushed through dinner, entrées came before appetizers. Need more experienced waiters and servers. Disappointed in general.
