Eloise Nichols Grill + Liquors
Well done but never overdone, where drinks are a food group, late-night is a staple, and quality is a given. Come when you can and stay as long as you’d like.
Please call the restaurant for parties of 9 or more to make reservations.
Reservations are not necessary for Saturday and Sunday brunch. It is suggested that larger parties call the restaurant ahead of their arrival.

Shrimp and Grits
Our shrimp and grits from dinner topped with an egg!
Caramelized Brussel Sprouts
white soy vinaigrette / togarashi / lime
we sat outside and it was nice. the grilled oysters were perfect. the devilied eggs were a little bland. the cocktails were YUMMY!
Food was good... not GREAT as it has been in the past. I suspect that they are hurting for qualified and experienced staff members like so many other restaurants. Any and every restaurant in the COVID era has suffered from a service standpoint. I think it will change very soon... as they just seemed understaffed. I'm looking forward to coming back in the near future to see if things have improved.
Great meal for Mother’s Day.
My shrimp and grits were among the best I have ever eaten! Loved the addition of the egg. My husband had the chicken Caesar and gave it 2 thumbs up.
Brandon, our waiter, was wonderful. He was attentive without being annoying.
Noise level was high which is why I only gave the restaurant a 4 rating.
I would like to go back again when it is not a holiday and see if the noise level is less.
Great customer service and food! Our waiter was such a kind person.
The breast of chicken on rig our guests had was very dry. Our plates were not cleared In a timely manner. Out waiter was great in the beginning and then disappeared for a bit.
The pork chop was excellent.
Food was good, not great. Good location and nice ambience.
The ribeye steak was way under-done, full of fat, and had a weird taste. It also had a unappealing presentation of this bloody piece of meat covering a bed of greasy French fries. Not appetizing. You can do way better folks. The salmon dish was excellent, although a little on the bland side. The chicken cast iron dish was okay - again, super bland. And the fried chicken sandwich my husband ordered is far outshined by the cheaper version you can get at Popeyes fast food chain. So, I am overall not happy with the food, given the price and expectations of the quality of food typically seen from the Adair family.
Our first time and we’ll be back for sure. The hostess was fabulous!
Great! Love the food as always!
I’ve wanted to dine here for years and was not disappointed. Tried two appetizers off of the “test menu” (poblano hush puppies and lamb meatballs and they were terrific. The service was fabulous and the main course (chicken and dumplings) had a different take than I was expecting but liked it even more than I was expecting! Absolute recommend.
The meatballs that I normally order were dry and not very good. I told the waitress and she removed them from my bill. Everything g else was great.
Have loved this restaurant since it opened, but unfortunately it was not a great experience this time. Not sure if this was just an off night or if it’s going downhill, but both food and service were not that great.
So cute and the drinks were amazing!
It was my birthday. Food was delicious. My friends benedict had the wrong meat. Then there were two sides that weren’t brought out. Besides that the server was friendly, and the ambience was great. Expected some sort of discount for the several inconveniences with the food.
Great evening out! My meal came out a bit overcooked. Not only did it come back out delicious, but they comped the meal for the inconvenience. Great customer service and we will be back soon!
Great service and food
Great spot for lunch! Parking is difficult, best to valet.
Food is average. Expected mor to match the ambience
We had brunch. It was delicious. The pineapple mimosas and the rosemary’s baby cocktail were both excellent.
Made reservation for outdoor seating, was not available. Eggs benedict was warm at best, biscuit was tough and felt like our food had been sitting out for a while and not hot. Had mimosas and was brought wine instead of champagne at one time. Extremely loud and hard to hear our own conversation at the table.
Delicious food with great service and clean, spacious dining area. Outdoor or indoor dining available.
Great experience. Food was delicious and service was great.
The food was Very good and tasty. Great customer service. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Would definitely go back to Eloise Nichols Grill + Liquors
Strong recommendation as a nice casual dinner place. Also a great spot for lunch.
Best chicken and waffles ever! Also really enjoy the shrimp and grits! Delicious
The deviled eggs were incredible! Salads were great too!!
Service was a little slow during lunch hours.
Very nice environment.
Valentine’s Day brunch with my husband & son. We had a great time!
Went today for brunch. I ordered the Biscuits Benedict. Very disappointed. Pulled pork was very bland and poached eggs were hard boiled. My partners burger was good but overall, not the normal experience we get here.
Loved our waitress Taylor she was fantastic! Environmental was super cute.
A favorite restaurant. Great ambiance, location and great food.
Enjoyed brunch with my sister and best friend. Definitely recommend.
We loved the service and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. We ordered shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and brussels sprouts. Everything was really good, but I would have to say the shrimp and grits were my favorite.
Definitely a place that is more tuned to a late-night drinks crowd than anyone looking for a serious meal. The calamari was good, as was the wine. Stay and have an appetizer with some friends.
Really good food and service. Nice, little neighborhood type of place. A hidden treasure.
Food was average at best. Service was slow.
Better places to go to.
We had a great quiet anniversary dinner. The location was adorable and super clean!
