Electric Gravy is an Indian bar and canteen on East 11th serving bold, comforting dishes with generous portions and a little chaos (the good kind). We’re not trying to replicate tradition—we’re reimagining it with big flavor, warm hospitality, and cocktails with attitude.

Expect vibrant colors, spice in the air, music in the room, and housemade gravies that stick with you.
We take reservations—but we set aside half our dining room for WALK INS because we’re a neighborhood spot at heart, so walk-ins ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.

Was looking to spend good money on drinks, fill my craving for authentic Indian food, and start my Saturday night off strong. Expectations were high and I went into the doors of Gravy in a positive mood that was unfortunately immediately derailed. The staff seemed incredibly annoyed that we booked an outside table and — in their eyes — our group was reincarnated into two homeless drifters begging for a morsel of sustenance. We were mostly ignored the entire night, received the deep fryer scraps they named Pakora, a dry Karahi Chicken and Vindaloo Pork that was all heat no taste. The naan and rice even left much to be desired and drinks took an hour to make. I hope to one day achieve Moksha so my spirit can never be so disappointed and broken this badly ever again.

We really enjoyed this place! It has a cool, fun vibe. It has very good drinks and nice “Mumbai street food”.

Seven of us dined here to celebrate two birthdays. Everyone in our party loved all the food and cocktails we ordered! We plan on dining here again, it’s very good!

Food was awful. Definitely doesn’t qualify to be indian food place. The only good thing here was rice and water! (Well you cant screw that up now. Can you?) By far the worst restaurant food i have ever had. Tasteless .. rancid oil and inedible food. Panini Bread or just bread was disguised as a naan.

Service was fantastic, cocktails were excellent and well-priced. Food was awesome, I loved the grilled cheese and chutney and the samosas. My husband was so happy with his food and couldn’t stop eating the queso. We took home the rice crispy treat and loved the spin on my favorite treat!

Queso is delicious! Samosas were good but on the smaller side. “Electric” French fries were tasty but just basic shoestring fries. Enjoyed the saag paneer panini but needs more salt. While the green chutney was too salty. Service was good but not attentive. It was hard to get a waiter’s attention, no one asked if we wanted more drinks and then we get charged for two extra glasses of wine which we didn’t notice till we got home. The manager was very nice and gave us a corner table when asked vs one near the kitchen. Glad they offer two hour validated parking behind restaurant since parking can be a challenge in that location
