One of the best meals we have had in many years. Katherine is a genius and each course was fantastic. We need to come more often
Excellent food and wonderful service. Would definitely recommend.
We love to celebrate special occasions at Elderslie Farms. Once again the food and service was exceptional.
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. Elderslie is the best place to go for a special occasion. The only draw back for me is the length of time for the dining. Our reservation was at 7. The four of us enjoyed a couple cheese platters a glasses of Prosecco. Then we enjoyed the dinner. I do appreciate not being rushed when dining, however, our dinner was 3 1/2 hours long! We’ll most likely try again, because the food is really good.
Amazing food as usual. Great service
I live 4 hours away and this was my third visit in 2020. Can’t say enough good about the experience. Fantastic food and amazing service. Can’t wait to go back.
The ladies who took care of us were professional and polite. The food was beautiful and exquisite.
The food was wonderful...one of the best meals we've had! The service and ambiance were superb as well, and the decor was tasteful. Unfortunately, most of the blackberry crop was hailed out, so we didn't get to enjoy the farm as much as we had hoped, but we'll just have to come back!
We love making the trip to Elderslie Farm. It is such a unique experience each and every time. Can't say enough great things about the food, atmosphere, service and people!
Whether for a special occasion or a night out, this place is special. They accommodate your needs and offer such an amazing experience. The food is inventive and tastes amazing.
Unique delicious food, lovely ambiance that’s elegant and cozy, and great service. The cheese flights are excellent! We’ve dined at Elderslie’s befits and each time has been wonderful. Definitely worth it!
Beautiful grounds. Wonderful dining room. Service is above average. Food is creative. Each course is a unique experience in flavors. Excellent wine pairings. Worth the price for the all around relaxing and amazing experienced. Excellent goat cheese. All food is grown on the farm or surrounding farms. Can’t wait to go back.
We had not been out for dinner since early March due to Covid concerns. I confirmed ahead of our evening that staff were wearing masks and was reassured by my call that social distancing was being practiced. The meal was excellent along with the wine pairings. The pasta/zucchini and pork belly dishes were superb. I was fearful 5 courses would be too much food but the portion sizes were small and that was perfect.
Our server was pleasant and again the ambience was perfectly relaxing. Katherine and George Elder have a wonderful gem of a restaurant.
Elderslie was a great evening! Looked at our watches and realized it had been 2&1/2 hours start to finish. We never once thought about the time! Did the cheese flight and the wine pairings, so our bill was sizable, but absolutely reasonable for the delicious, inventive, beautiful courses we were served! My husband had the vegetarian menu, and he raved about it. If you are in a hurry, or if you have to eat a steak and a baked potato, or if you think you can't get a babysitter for your kids, you should choose another restaurant. We left stress and hurrying in the car in the parking lot and just enjoyed celebrating 39 years of adventure together! Thanks for a memorable evening!
There is no other place like this in Wichita! We always really enjoy our dining at Elderslie and this time was no exception. The main course was pork belly and oh my goodness, what a flavor. All the courses are prepared perfectly and the service is excellent.
Kudos to the chef for creativity and perfect matching of flavors.
This is a don't miss dining experience
Loved it but can be expensive if you get some extras which were all good.
I planned to attend in March for my husband's birthday, but COVID happened and we rescheduled for the first weekend that they were offering fine dining again. I did not really know what to expect. I will say that the entrance to the restaurant was so unassuming that I really didn't know if I was in the right place. I kind of felt like I was in someone's home, uninvited. However; the staff was very friendly and attentive but not too attentive where my husband and I got to enjoy a lovely meal. It was quiet, but not awkwardly so. The food was so interesting and unique and each course provided an experience that helped us learn more about food and flavor combinations. We left delighted. Highly recommend adding a cheese flight as a starter. I do wish the wine pairings were a little more robust than what was offered. All in all, the experience was lovely and should be something that every self-proclaimed food enthusiast should experience.
It was our first time at Elderslie and were not sure what to expect. Food and wait staff were exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed the “Elderslie” experience and will definitely go again!
I’m from out of state and this is my second time dining here. What a great experience with fantastic food. You won’t be disappointed.
You always feel so taken care of here. The food is creative and delicious! I can’t say enough nice things about this incredible experience.
Each course is so creative and extremely delicious. Presentation is 5 star.
It was an alright experience. Portions for the price doesn't really match up.
Great evening, good food, prompt service.
Elderslie Farm is an absolute gem. My partner and I always visit this wonderful restaurant when we make a trip to Wichita, and spend at least 3 to 4 hours enjoying the atmosphere. The food is always prepared wonderfully, the wine is delicious, the ambience is so romantic, and the waitstaff is attentive and knowledgable. This restaurant is totally worth every penny. If you are considering dining here, you absolutely have to!
Fine-dining in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Each course uniquely creative, each plate artfully composed. Chef thoughtfully utilizes a wide range of ingredients including Elderslie Farm blackberries, cheese for their own creamery, and many other local and seasonal products. Superb!
Food and service was excellent, very memorable experience.
Elderslie is a wonderful place for a quiet dinner. It’s definitely a special occasion type of location, so beautiful. We had the full 5 courses and each bite was delicious! The wait staff was professional and intuitive, which seems rare these days.
best experience in Kansas if not the only one. always a great bite with excellent service
Absolutely awesome! Great food with excellent wine pairings. Very nice ambiance. Quiet enough for a nice dinner conversation. Lovely staff.
Beautiful presentation, but food overall was not exceptional. Delightful setting.
It was quite cozy. The food quality and presentation were exceptional. It looked like so much care was taken to prepare the food and care was taken to bring it to our table. Really felt special
Best meal and dining experience my husband and I have ever had!! Quality ingredients, skill, creativity, and care shine through in the exceptional food combinations and wine pairings. The ambience is charming and cozy and the service was impeccable. We can’t wait to go back!
Best dining experience I’ve ever had. Chef Travis is a beast!
Wonderful dinner and ambiance. We had the dinner with the wine pairing and it was superb. Our server, Holly, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommended for those who want to experience rather than just eat a dinner.
The Lunch and Learn Event was very enjoyable. It started with a large beautiful salad before the charcuterie board, followed by delightful shortbread cookies. Wine was available by the glass to purchase and coffee was complimentary. George and Katharine both shared information regarding the kitchen and dairy farm that was informative and enjoyable. I am always blessed each time I attend an event or dinner at their farm. I hope to pick blackberries this summer.
Really enjoyed the lunchtime salad and tasting of cheeses. I have since been craving Foggy Aye cheese (and glad that I purchased some!) Also very much enjoyed the presentation about cheese-making!
This was an incredible dining experience, definitely out of my comfort zone, but so glad I went.
Our evening at Elderslie was perfect in every way. The food and service were both exceptional. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
This was an absolutely incredible experience. I felt like I was in an episode of chef's table on Netflix. Each flavor was so carefully selected to both standout and perfectly complement the flavors it accompanied. We had an amazing table right by the window, watching the sunset as we sipped prosecco and nibbled on cheese was perfection.
The only part about the whole experience that was less than perfect was that I couldn't snuggle in alpaca while I ate. I therefore propose that next summer, Elderslie Farm offer an "alpaca alfresco a la carte" experience on the patio.
You will not find a lovelier setting nor better service anywhere. The five-course meal itself was unique, with highlights being the cheeses and bread made at the farm and the wine selections. The other courses were worth trying, but none made a lasting impression, either because they were too esoteric or served after their optimal temperature had diminished. If you decide to go, be sure to read the current menu carefully because that's exactly what you will be getting (this is not a pick and choose restaurant). The fixed pricing includes gratuities, but the total with wine still comes to about $100 per person. At that level, one might expect a more memorable meal.
