You know your evening is going to start out wonderful when the Owner or Staff member is waiting for your party outside the front of the resturant. It’s a small but exquisite detail this resturant does to place itself above the rest. He opens the door, and hangs your coats prior to seating you & your party. Loved it.
The dinning area is also exquisite. The furniture the architecture more often than not is made on site. It’s gorgeous. The ambiance of the atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and romantic. Very cozy sitting by the fire place when it’s running.
The server was wonderful at explaining all dishes and wine pairings. The food was incredible too. We had the February menu. All dishes were delicious but the duck was a notch above the rest. It was so tender and so juicy, Cooked just perfectly.
We felt important and cared for while dinning. The food and the wine were just the right amount. I hope to see this business grow and stay local in our community. 5 stars
great food and service and a huge perk for wichita
The food was outstanding--best that I have had at a restaurant for a long time. Perfect mix of tastes. Innovative recipes. Perfect service sizes.
What a wonderful dining experience! Tried the wine paring with our meal & choices were well selected. Unique fabulous food!
Honestly I was skeptical. The menu consisted of a cauliflower dish, beet dish, and other interesting things I normally wouldn't eat such as duck. I was wrong and am completely in awe of this restaurant. Every dish was unique but precisely planned out. My only recommendation is for the dessert we had. wlWhen making a ganache to cover a blondie bar, I'd like it be thinner. It was difficult to eat and enjoy because the ganache was quite chewy in texture but the Blondie itself was amazing. Again if you're wanting to experience real fine dining, this is the place to go.
Great food. Great service. Like we had back in the day. Attention to every detail. Awesome
Great menu. People were very friendly when bringing out each selection. If you are looking for a place to experience locally grown food this a great choice.
We had a wonderful Birthday dinner with friends. The Elderslie team always makes you feel so comfortable and special when you dine with them. The food was wonderful as always!
Another great evening at Elderslie Farm...the chef is awesome!
Regardless of what is on the menu - I have never left a morsel of any dish! Delightful blend of flavors and textures that make for an unbelievably delicious taste and amazing presentation!
Have already recommended to other people. I have never had a better dining experience. Definitely going to make this a special occasion spot!!
Eating at Elderslie Farm was a lovely evening and should be approached as an event. I was a little worried that the food would be too precious at the expense of flavor or the servings too small, but everything was absolutely delicious and we left completely satisfied. We would highly recommend Elderslie Farm for a special evening out.
An amazing experience. The ambience was very romantic for Valentines weekend, the lighting was perfect, the wood-burning stove was home h an amazing experience. The ambience was very romantic for Valentines weekend, the lighting was perfect, the wood-burning stove was cozy, and the staff was amazing. The food was simply delicious, I’ve never been so spoiled before in my life.
Fabulous meal and wine. Excellent service. While I appreciate this is a multi course meal, I believe they should review their portion sizes. While the expectation is not a full serving of each course, this has gotten to be a bit of an "elf food" menu. The flavor a fabulous, and the preparation is exquisite - just wish there was a little - emphasis on little - more to enjoy.
My husband and I enjoyed a splendid five-course meal with an amazing wine pairing at Elderslie, as our Valentine’s celebration. Suffice it to say that the atmosphere, the creativitiy, the presentation, and the flavors (transposing us to etherial heights and down to deepest umbers) all combined for an unmatched dining experience. It was truly a celebration of the earth’s bounty—crafted around local flavors in season. We will be back for our anniversary!
Awesome from start to finish!
Great place, very elegant, beautiful setting. All the food was delicious and it's a fun experience. You receive five small courses throughout the evening, we added a cheese flight and the wine pairing and were sufficiently full by the end. Our server was excellent, she was very knowledgeable about all of the foods, wines, and anything else we asked.
My wife and I have traveled the world and eaten at many of the finest restaurants of Europe, Asia and North America. It is not hyperbole to say that the finest executions of culinary artistry we have experienced come from a small farmhouse, nestled in the Kansas countryside. Who knew such perfection could exist in the rural plains of the Midwest?
Wonderful food with amazing service!
Wonderful experience and great change of pace!
Amazing! Food, setting and service were top notch!
Wonderful evening, wonderful setting. Loved the menu and we did the wine pairing, which was wonderful not to have to order and to just be served!!
Such a gem! The atmosphere is lovely. The cuisine is outstanding. A special destination that always inspires.
Amazing dinner!!! Elderslie Farm Chef Katherine @mrselderslie it was all delicious!! Chef James’ fav was the Sweet Potato Course. He explained to me that people always think of the yam as the Sweet Potato when it’s not. 😂My fav was the Gnudi with the pesto (I wanted to lick the last bit off my bowl....but I exercised self-control. 🤪)❤️The service is the best in town. Ahna was very attentive and a delight. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a great evening. @ Elderslie Farm
Just outstanding food ,service,ambiance
Expensive but worth the treat
This was our third time dining here and we have loved every visit!! The food is exceptional! And the service is always perfect!
As always, Elderslie Farm was AMAZING!
Our group enjoyed a delicious tasting menu with wonderfully paired wine. Local ingredients were used in the preparation of the dishes. We will definitely be returning as the menu changes monthly.
Went there with my wife for our 20th anniversary. Everything was excellent. A finely dressed man in 3-piece suit greeted us at the door which was nice. The atmosphere was quit and elegant. The food was unique and tasty. The serving staff was excellent. If money is no object, then yes I recommend. However, for nearly $100 per person if you choose the wine pairings I cannot afford to go back anytime soon.
This type of dining, with pre set courses and an optional wine pairing was all very new to me. I could be considered more on the adventurous side when it comes to dining however, my boyfriend (my companion on the date) is more on the conservative side. I would say that by the end of the night we were both in love with the ambiance, the small details put into consideration (such as changing the silverware throughout the meal to not muddle the flavors of each dish) and of course the food. If someone can make my boyfriend eat buck wheat and mushrooms in the same evening that is a tremendous achievement.
We had a wonderful evening the new menu is really good. We enjoyed our visit
Loved the ambiance, service, and excellent food.
Plan for a long dinner with lots of wait time between courses. (I think the delay time between courses could've been minimized a little!) Expect small portion sizes. Good table service with excellent support service (not just the server).
We went with our two college aged sons, and while they appreciate a good/nice/elegant dinner, the wait time and portion size was not "good" for them. Definitely do not bring younger kids to this setting; it would be very distracting for the other customers and you won't enjoy the meal.
Ambiance and environment is nice. I wish we could have parked in the circle closer to the restaurant rather than having to walk from the berry picking parking lot.
Gluten free options were tasty, especially the noodles (instead of the tortellini).
My husband and I will be back for a date night.
I have been to Elderslie Farm several times and never been disappointed. The creativity of the kitchen is amazing. They can take ingredients that I’m not particularly fond of and turn them into something delicious.
We HIGHLY recommend Elderslie, and I am already looking forward to our next visit. I took my dad for the first time just after Christmas, and he kept saying that it was the best meal he had ever eaten in a restaurant! I love their use of local ingredients, the authenticity and beauty of the place, and the artistic presentation of each course. It's the best food in Wichita, hands down!
Birthday celebrations. This is the best food, and the best farm to table experience, but my wife and I have had. And we have diamond all over the world.
It’s clear there is a lot of time and care put into the menu, ingredients, and wine pairings. The service was impeccable. The food was thrilling. I can’t wait visit again.
Excellent as always. The wine pairings worked well
Elderslie is a gem! We love the creativity of the menu, the excellence of the food preparation and the outstanding service.
Great special occasion venue. Excellent in almost every aspect. Very small portion on confit chicken thigh. Could not have 6 course and 3 course menu at same table.
