El Torito - Anaheim
Just after we ordered, they set up a table for 16 next to us. Noise went up, and attention from server went down. Difficult to get his attention ( no refills) and took forever to get our bill.
Food was bad taste was so odd and not fully cocked food looked like it been out for days
My waiter was awesome! Very attentive. Highly recommend the Sunday brunch and the endless mimosas.
Waitress was very nice and brought everything out the way we ordered it! Drinks were delicious and we didn’t feel rushed
The first bite of food seemed good but then as I ate more it seemed to taste soapy like the plate hadn’t been rinsed off thoroughly.
Celebrated a birthday here. Only 5 of us. Decent food. One waitres per about 10-11 tables. It was impossible for her to be able to do that. Staffing is very limited and it’s not her fault
Great! Lots of food options and bottomless mimosas
Great brunch experience post-Covid. Staff serves you the food at buffet style sections. Food and service was great, but wish there were more options for food, drinks, and dessert. They did the best with what they had. The only complaint was that they snuck in a 20% gratuity on our check and we tipped 20% cash extra on top of that.
Worst restaurant experience ever. Food was horrible, waiter was friendly but not attentive at all kept forgetting to bring us what we asked for but the manager was absolutely horrible. Waited 30 min just to have him fix our bill and when I looked over to see what he was doing he was to busy watching the game on the TVs instead of fixing our check. Stay away from this restaurant
You need to have more waiters per section. The service was horrible
Made a reservation for 10:15pm. We waited 20 minutes without ever seeing a server and walked out. Very disappointing especially since everyone was hungry.
Good food, busy restaurant with slight delay on drinks and food. It was probably due to a private event. Overall good night out.
Service in general was all wrong manager always on the phone.
I made reservations for Father’s Day and when I went to check in I had to wait an hour what’s the point of making reservations Service is horrible
Did not acknowledge the special requests in the reservation, I have a service animal and requested to be seated outside. I arrived on time for my reservation and wasn't sat down until 30 minutes later and they did not seat me in an outside seating for me and my service animal. They also threw us on a small table that WAS NOT cleaned. There were food plates still on it, they had crumbs everywhere, spilled sauce everywhere all over the table and the menu. The servers were not wearing masks or they had the half on/half off.
Truly a disgrace, me and my fiance were trying to have a date night out and overall the service, ambiance, quality, ppe, and overall sanitization standards were embarrassing......even if there was not any Covid standards.... it still is embarrassing that those people are running someone's company that way. Such a disgrace.
Wish I didn’t have to write this but it’s true…margaritas were very weak and tasted like just sour and water. Chile relleño wasn’t authentic and was weird. Service…took an hour to bring our meals so the “sizzling” plate was cold. Won’t be going back
Love the place! So romantic and beautiful area! It’s big and clean
The brunch had a great selection of food. Everything I had was good and hot. The bartender that took care of us was polite and very attentive. Overall great experience. The price was about $5-7 too much for what we had. But other than that great time by us all.
Restaurant was very loud, hard to hold a conversation with person at my table.
Server did a great job! 2nd day on the job..
Literally worst service ever had. Never got utensils after an hour of sitting at table, only got water, waiter was snobby (douchebag). Previous visits were good but this time sucked.
The food was great, servers were very efficient and attentive.
I made a reservation so the wait for a table was not long. However, it took the waiter quite a long time to even acknowledge us. By the time he got to us, we were beyond ready to order drinks and food. I got a mojito and asked them to remake it because it was not good. The second one was drinkable but still not good. I ordered the sizzling chicken fajitas and it was really good. The women's bathroom was disgusting - someone peed all over the floor and it reaked. Overall, I would not come back.
I was surprised I was able to make a reservation in CInco de Mayo and I should have known. The first person I talked to was nice but she said I neede my whole party. Parking was awful so at 6:31 (reservation at 6:30) we checked in again and were straight up ignored by the other hosts. There were 3 and they seemed to be greeting everyone else. Then I finally checked in and got a text message asking if I was going to show up. I should have left then. We were sitting there for 30 minutes watching servers help every other table. We watched a new table get seated and someone took their order right away so we had to say something so we could order. I walked up a second time and heard two servers fighting with a manager about who had to serve us.? Then two of the times we ordered never showed up. We didn’t get food until 7:30 and had to go to the bar to get our own drinks. Overall I will not be going on cinco de Mayo again.
it was great to be seated quickly and the service was great.
Food was great! Just need better service!!!
Not enough people serving food at the buffet stations
Great place to have breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Service is great our favorite spot to go
We were seated promptly. Service was excellent! The food was delicious. The restaurant followed Covid safety guidelines the only complaint I have is that the restaurant didn’t have a changing table in the bathrooms. Being a family restaurant I would think a changing table would be provided.
Overall I’m happy to have a brunch place open again, but the food seemed not as flavorful as in the past.
Me encanto nos atendieron muy bien
Server was distracted and had to be remained to get us some water. Looks like she was not happy to be there
We came at 1:45pm for brunch on Easter Sunday. The brunch officially ended at 2pm. However, the restaurant continued to prepare food and keep the serving area fully staffed. We could not have been happier!
My husband and I were super excited for the return of Easter Brunch and received phenomenal service from everyone who we interacted with.
Brunch was a bit pricier than in the past- which is to be expected I suppose, bottomless mimosas no longer included.
Omelettes are no longer made while you watch, so after two tries for an egg white omelette being drenched with cooking oil, I decided against an omelette.
Not my favorite brunch spot, but I’m still grateful for brunch being available.
Service was slow. She may have had to many tables
Great food and great customer service
My wife and I just went for the newly reopened Sunday brunch. I would definitely suggest making a reservation as this location is very very busy on Sunday mornings. We had immediate seating just after 12 noon and were greeted with an order of freshly made pancakes, we then went to the various food stations which had a fantastic selection of items. All the post pandemic precautions made us feel very comfortable with the indoor dining.
Manager during brunch was very rude. Will not be going back.
Brunch was fresh. Service was beautiful. Be kind to the employees. They have feelings too.
