Nestled high above LoHi on the fifth floor of 2930 Umatilla, El Five boasts spectacular, unobstructed views of the downtown Denver skyline. The menu is an homage to the Mediterranean and features small plates built on bold flavors found throughout the region: Spain, North Africa, the Middle East.

We celebrated our anniversary with a dinner at El Five and they made a special day end on a great note. The food was great and service was amazing. We always enjoy our time here.

We had a really good time in your restaurant. We ordered piaya it was awesome. I enjoyed our time in the restaurant. The drinks were awesome too.

My gf and I had an amazing experience here last night! The staff were excellent and friendly, food was delicious, and the ambiance/view was beautiful. Cameron was our server and he had great food/drink suggestions and kept great conversation with us. We’ll be back and will be asking for his service again!!

Our server was incredibly informative about all of the dishes and cocktails, and helped us select the perfect mix for our experience. The food runners were kind and offered a gift from the kitchen, which was the best duck I've ever had. The total was cheaper than I expected, and we plan on coming back. Would 100% bring my mother here, she would love it!

We sat at the chefs counter which had a great view. The food was overall really good! Our issue was that the waitress told us all about sitting at the chefs counter and how we would get this great experience and have tastes from the chefs as they make things. None of this happened. We were mostly ignored and didn’t receive any “bites” as she called it. The couple next to us complained as well and received some cheese which at that time we were already finished and didn’t complain as well. It just ended up being uncomfortable

I've been to ElFive multiple times. It's my favorite restaurant in Denver... it has EVERYTHING! The views are incredible (go when it will be dark if possible to see the lights). The service is great, the food is INCREDIBLE. Great vibe as well. One thing I would say is that we went for chefs kitchen counter service this time. I think it's better to just get a table with a view (however at the counter you are up high enough to see the view). Just not much interaction with the chefs, so we didn't really learn anything about their amazing cuisine.
