Awesome views of the mountains and city! We ordered the patatas bravas, cauliflower, and lamb meatballs. Everything was delicious. The sangria and gin and tonic were delicious as well.
Always a great place to great some dinner! Never disappointed
Unbelievable food and view, will definitely return. Top notch place and is a must go to if you are visiting Denver.
Every dish was fresh and has vibrant flavors. Hard to choose a favorite but the sausage was outstanding. Service was on point.
Birthday celebration, everything excellent
Celebrated my 30th birthday here and was absolutely blown away by the food, drinks, and service. Not to mention that the space itself is stunning. I will definitely be coming back very soon.
The food was really good and so was the service.
We had the paella , both veg and non veg and it was superb.
Drink was ok, i tried the “Slow Down Suzie”.
The view is really great and if it wasn’t that windy would have made a great outdoor seating.
The place doesn’t have its own parking, so have to park on the street. Valet service has been discontinued due to the pandemic.
Overall a good place for occasions. I was there on a Sunday so there wasn’t a big crowd and we found parking nearby.
Everything was absolutely great! Other than the light bulb outside above our table was out & made it a lil rough to see what we were eating it was still such a beautiful view. Service was great!
I told them before I booked the reservation and again that night that it was an incredibly special occasion. We didn’t get a great table and no mention was made of the special occasion or offer to do anything above and beyond. Was pretty disappointed as I’ve normally had great experiences there and it would have meant so much if they even did 5% more to make us feel special.
Special thank you to McKenna, Lauren, and Nicole! They were so accommodating and loved the team service! Other than arrival process with Hostess who was a bit rough, once upstairs it was incredible and won us back and then some. Thank you!
First meal in a restaurant in six months! Just as wonderful as we remember. Thanks El Five!
Easter brunch was unique, tasty and what a view! We have lived in LoHi for a long time but have never made it up here. Definitely worth it for a date night, special occasion or celebration. Funky and artsy vibe meets Mediterranean.
Our food and service was outstanding! Can't wait to go back again!
We had a great time at El Five. The views of downtown and the mountains are the best around and the food is delicious. We started with the Lebanese Garlic Dip with was delicious. We also had the Burrata, Chickpea Pancakes, Pork Loin and the poached Lobster. All were very good but the pork loin was our favorite, followed by the chickpea pancakes. The vibe is upscale and a great place for a date.
Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful looking over the city, excellent service, great food
I had the shakshura for brunch. It was disappointing because it didn't match my expectations based on the menu's description of the dish. It turned out to be a blenderized combo of all the listed ingedients. The one and only egg was smothered by the thick sauce, and the only thing you could taste was spicy tomatoes, not artichoke, not feta, not olives, not chickpeas. It's served alongside bruschetta, and if this dish were an appetizer I would have been pleased. It simply isn't a breakfast dish in my opinion just because of one egg. But you can't beat the great eclectic atmosphere overlooking downtown. Right now the little enclosed dining areas set up on the patio obscured the view from my table. Demerits to the hostess for not offering the patio seating as an option. I thought it was closed but other people were seated there after we were settled at our table. Our server was really great and the overall experience was fun.
The drinks were incredible
It’s been a little while since I have been here. Food and service was outstanding as always! Such a unique mix of ingredients resulting in very tasty food!
El Five is still one of my all time favorite restaurants in Denver. They not only have amazing food, but their service is exceptional. They have taken great care of me every time!
Always exceptional experience when we visit El Five
Amazing place and I loved the ambience. They have a great view of the city.
El five is a part of ‘Edible beats’ and I’ve tried their other 3 restaurants and have never been disappointed.
Food was amazing here. It’s a different modern take on Mediterranean cuisine. Really recommend trying the eggplant fries. Femme fatale was outstanding.
I’d say I’ve had better cheesecake.
Place is a little hard to find, but the space and food were outstanding. Menu is Spanish/Mediterranean inspired, so a little “exotic”, perfect for a foodie.
The service here is unbeatable! Not only was our waiter extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, but we were lucky enough to be seated at the bar where one of the chefs was prepping food. He gave us 3 extra dishes throughout the duration of our meal, and everything was so delicious! Can't wait to get back here to try more of the menu!
Loved it. Been to El 5 several times. Never disappoints.
Exquisite and varied food with smooth service meant an excellent meal for us with my sister from Chicago. The paella was superb, down to the scraped caramelized rice on the bottom of the pan.
Had this reserved for our anniversary for quite some time. From Denver, so not new to any of the food scene there. Was quite disappointed with the level of service as well as the quality of food for a place as advertisingly “sophisticated” as El Five. Food was so-so, service pretty sub par. Felt like we were imposing on staff by even being at the restaurant, which is interesting. Would not go back again, would certainly not invest in this location as a special occasion. Stick with the restaurants that continually prioritize your experience, rather than lacking because they are a hot/trendy location. Also— city views are blocked with the bubbles they have installed on the patio.
Family get-together
Our waiter was wonderful, as was the food!
We had half of the restaurant to ourselves and our waiter was incredible. The food was top notch and well worth our great night out. Thanks El Five and Open Table for having the slot for us on a snowy Saturday night. Perfect.
All good! Date went perfectly!
Stellar, unique food combined with a funky, fun vibe and a stunning view.
We booked this place solely for the views of the city (there was no option to select a certain room/table) however upon arriving for our reservation, we were told we couldnt sit at the front of the restaurant and were taken to a linear room in the back of the restaurant away from everyone - with a view of a residential street. This was quite disappointing. We figured the food would make up for the awful view. We asked the server which dishes were the most popular/specialty of the restaurant and ordered all 4 that he recommended (eggplant fries, sea bass, lamb sausage, and cauliflower yufka) Each dish was mediocre. Nothing great in our opinion. Definitely wouldnt recommend going here for the food and if you plan to go for the view, maybe call and request a table at the front - they never answered the phone when I called twice but maybe theyll return your message?
Always a fantastic place for drinks, food, desserts, and views!
Amazing brunch menu with delicious cocktails and incredible views. We had an attentive and friendly server. Highly recommend and will return.
The Covid charge was unnecessary 👎🏻.
We have loved this restaurant so much in the past. I know it has been a tough year for all restaurants but, we were sad to see the service has gone down hill and the food was not nearly as good as we have raved to others about. With a $350 final bill, we feel we should have left feeling WOWED.
We asked for daiquiris, one of the oldest cocktails in history and our server let us know they “do not serve frozen drinks” 😳 An alarming way to start the evening at a high end restaurant that we love.
We requested outdoor seating when making the reservation and it was not available when we arrived. This was a disappointment.
Good menu. Expensive, but enjoyable. Great views.
Amazing views and great food. Probably could have ordered half of what they recommended, but leftovers are nice..
Excellent service, excellent food👌🏼
