   Service was excellent. Pulled pork was not rated too highly by one guest. Bass was very very good, as were the appetizers and salad. Drinks were good as well. Donuts were pure heaven! Only comment are the outside tables are tight for four but I understand they fit the scale of the limited outdoor space Same for chairs (hate these chairs for anyone who is not hobbit-sized).

   We got there early for our reservation but were quickly seated by the friendly hostess who explained that we arrived during happy hour but dinner would be available at 4 (our original reservation time). She gave us the dinner menu as well as the happy hour menu and recommended we try the fried zucchini while we wait for dinner. They were delicious although I don’t think I have ever been disappointed at Drake. We normally order top shelf drinks but the happy hour margarita and Manhattan that my husband and I enjoyed were also delicious! For all the great restaurants in Bend Drake is one of our favorite go to spots!

   Food was delicious, service was fantastic. The loud noise inside the restaurant was the only change I would make...but in their defense, it was very busy the night we went. I'd definitely go back!

   We had a reservation for 11:00am this past Sunday. We sat down at 11:00am. Our waiter did not even speak to us until 11:15am. We ordered coffee. At no point did our waiter ask if we would like a refill. We had to flag down a busboy twice to get more coffee. Our potatoes were warm at best. The food was meh. The new menu is very underwhelming. They removed the breakfast sandwich, which I'm pretty sure was one of the most popular options - and the entire reason I went there in the first place. It will be a long time before I give them another chance.

    If you haven't been in a while, you must head down to Drake to try the new menu items! The Drake burger with the beer cheese is back, my husband loved it. The chef prepares some awesome specials - they were running a bulgogi bowl that night. Pair the excellent food with fantastic hospitality (thanks, Rachelle!), and you're in for a great dining experience. A must-try spot if you're in Bend.

    The food was delicious from the appetizers of Carrot dip and Asparagus with sauce to my pasta, my son’s Pork sandwich to my other son’s gnocchi!!! Service a bit slow to clear dirty plates, and non-attentive. Seated right at the back door the waitstaff goes in and out of and the bathroom too so busy and somewhat loud.

    First trip to Bend, and this place is one we look forward to coming back to! Great service - from the gentleman who seated us to the lovely and very attentive lady who we were lucky to have as our server - was the first impression. Second was the vibe - cozy on a rainy spring evening, but everyone having a great time. The FOOD WAS GREAT! Not too much - but every bite was packed with flavors and there were many dishes to choose from making selections really hard. We started with Tataki with a sweet/sour/umami flavor profile. For mains, we had one of the evening specials - steamers in a red broth with toasted focaccia, and a new dish on the regular menu: the pulled pork sandwich. The chef, who has lived in Texas, makes her own barbeque sauce with a bit of a kick and smokiness you want in pulled pork. Both were great. We left feeling satisfied but not waddling out the door, and looking forward to getting to try another set of dishes on our next visit.

    Drake is a wonderful place for dinner, and I appreciate the restaurant is open on Mondays in Bend when other establishments are closed. I have always had a good meal here. We were celebrating a friend's birthday and they surprised her with a dessert. Nice! Good food, good drinks, good times.

    We went to the Drake before a show at the Tower Theater. Seating was prompt. The service was prompt. We ordered the special Seared Sturgeon. You almost never see that on the menu! It was fabulous! Perfectly cooked with orzo pasta. Yummy! We were done in plenty of time to walk up the street to the Tower! We will do that again!

    WOW. Incredible from start to finish. Our server Ben was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us excellent service. The food was incredible. It had been awhile since we had eaten dinner at Drake and we are in LOVE with the new menu. Will be back again and have told our friends to try for themselves.

    We booked this place for a little birthday dinner for my husband. The service was so friendly and on the ball, and the atmosphere was very charming. The appetizers were incredible (the fried brussels sprouts are the best I’ve ever had in my life), and the deserts were similarly delicious (the donuts and pot de creme especially). However, in general the main courses weren’t the best —not bad, just not outstanding like the rest of the food. The one exception was the fried chicken my husband got, which was amazing. Also, fabulous cocktails :) Would happily return here.
