   This is our second time coming for Brunch, the first time was fabulous experience. But second time was below average, food wasn’t as per our request and expectations. Waiters were busy all the time and can’t focus or remember our requirements

   Went for a business lunch meeting. Whilst the a la carte menu was a tempting option, the set menu offering equally sounded good that we decided to try this out. Starter portions were generous and flavoursome. Their home made bread was exquisite. Our mains - albeit small in portion (perhaps even be mistaken as a starter for one of the dishes) had good depths of flavour and was beautifully presented. For its price point, I guess it’s fair portion. As a small feedback, I would say that service was friendly but was a little slow, (it was not particularly a rushed lunch service). Our drinks took a while to arrive, and had to ask for our bill a couple of times towards the end? Our waiter at the beginning perhaps was new, as had to repeat our order a couple of times, and not so familiar with the menu? Overall, it was great experience. Special thanks to Sylvia for great service and hospitality. Will be back, as I do come here quite a bit to use the Neighbourhood space for meetings. The hotel is also fantastic and stunning.

   I’m not usually mean, but the restaurant is serving healthy (boooooooring) expensive food. They gave me bread without me asking and I had to pay £15 extra! Extremely cheeky, dare I say. Food was bland and boring, desert was oily and really not good (matcha with some coconut ice cream, seriously don’t take it). Absolutely will never ever come back.

   Came for a Saturday night date night with my spouse looking for something upscale with some ambiance. The venue is nice, but there was absolutely no vibe, practically empty. The waitstaff was constantly coming over to see if we needed anything to the point of it being a nuisance; "more wine?", "more bread?", "another bottle of water?"... it felt like they were constantly trying to upsell. The food was very nice, but that was about it. We got the bill and i was surprised to see that they charged £10 for the water (in their own refillable bottles, so obviously SodaStreamed in situ), £10 for the bread (two very cute small bagette style rolls) they repeatedly brought to the table (we didn't know we were being charged for it). Overall very average by London standards, and certainly overpriced at £350 total (2p) for an evening which was disappointing. Wouldn't recommend.

We do currently have a set cover charge of £5 per guest, which allows us to provide free-flowing filtered water and our home-made sourdough bread.    Poor service, items were forgotten, took 20+mins just to receive bread and a barrata. After complaining to Alex about our experience she was kind enough to send us over some drinks on the house (mind you, we placed a order 20 mins prior that never came). Chicken and waffles was the best dish that we ordered. The pancakes were also lovely!

   We made a reservation here using their online reservation system. Two days before the date, someone left a message that they could no longer seat us at our reservation time of 6pm and were changing our reservation to 9pm. We have children so that was not going to work for us. Plus we had made our reservation well in advance using THEIR system! Our hotel concierge called and whomever he spoke to said she would talk to the manager about changing our reservation back to the original time and would call me directly. No one contacted me. I then called the restaurant the date before our reservation date and explained the situation to someone who agreed that what happened to us was not right and that she would try to move things around to seat us earlier than 9pm. Again, no one contacted us. We then had to scramble to find a place for dinner on a holiday. What an awful way to treat patrons.

   One of the best Sunday roasts in the city, wine list was not great, cocktails were perfect, front desk couldn’t find our OpenTable booking because they rely on another booking system but kindly gave us a table anyway. Service was ok.

We love that you appreciated our food; our culinary team work hard to combine seasonal and sustainable produce with simple yet effective flavours. We do use one main booking system, however all our reservations from all platforms are added, we are investigating as to why your reservation was not located, please do accept my apologies for this upon arriving to the venue and I can assure you is not a regular occurrence.
