Our server was gregarious and knowledgeable. He offered excellent recommendations for wine and food. The charcuterie was presented beautifully, the onion soup was flavorful, the burger was very good. The main courses were good, but not exceptional, as the accompaniments generally did little to enhance the main dish. Desserts were very tasty and the overall modern, minimalist ambience made for an enjoyable dining experience.
We are at the bar even though we had reservation for outdoor table. We did check in at desk but they never came to seat us so we ate at the bar.
Took forever to get our food
We have been to Dorona several times. We have gotten great meals every time. Food and service is great!
We had a wonderful Anniversary dinner at Dorona. Our waiter was outstanding answering all of our question thoughtfully doing follow up appropriately after every course. This is one of our favorite dinner spots in Naples.
Very pleasant surroundings. We enjoyed dinner very much. Our server was excellent! We plan to return soon.
This was our second visit to Dorona, and markedly different from our first.
We were with friends who work early, so to accommodate them we had a 6:30 reservation. I don’t know if our waiter had an early date after work, or if they were pushing to get another seating at our table.
We had wine, oysters, a table made Caesar salad, entrees, desert and coffee. From the minute we were seated we were rushed to order when we arrived, with virtually no time between courses. I think it was 1 hour and 20 minutes, in and out.
Prices were moderate to high as expected, the food was ok - not great, and the waiter was neither pleasant nor unpleasant - just rushing to do his job to get us out as fast as possible.
We will carefully consider if we will return.
This is the second time I was served by Alexa. She’s a lovely person, very attentive and professional. A great evening, thank you.
We ordered a $65 ribeye and it was a terrible cut that was entirely fat! No meat was on the bone.
Was told by many that this was the best steak in town and was looking forward to the dinner. Three of us ordered the bone in filet, and one the tomahawk. All came out charred which is a unique taste and took away from the flavor. We didn’t order them prepared that way nor was it noted on the menu. Our friends who recommended us to dine there said theirs was not prepared that way so maybe the chef our night was different. Still a good meal but would have preferred the option to choose.
Hostess & server was very friendly. Sat at a high top which was very comfortable. We all ordered steaks which were outstanding. Baked potatoe was extremely tasty. Will definitely return.

Upon arrival we were greeted with who is the birthday person and every server and management person thereafter acknowledged my special day which was totally unexpected and appreciated.Food was delicious and our waitress Tanya was very attentive and charming.
Food was fantastic and service was impeccable! Highly recommend! We shared the mussels, arugula salad, swordfish and porterhouse. I dined with my son who is a great chef which means he’s extremely picky and rarely eats out and he was impressed. Enjoy
Nice bar scene with good food. We sat at a table and had terrific service. The entrees were very good and the food came out in a timely fashion.
As always service Wednesday evening was great. Food ate light Caesar salad and octopus 🐙
Others went for steak dishes which they state excellent. Noise level was up can’t get away from it unless fine outside. Don’t care we’re you sit inside.
Waitress was great on top of everything always table side asking how it was going.
Did notice pass couple times dining here, Caesar salad table side not as big as when opened last season?
The long table bar area no longer to my knowledge available for HH only bar seating. If true mistake was used last season. Let’s not get greedy place big enough to leave this as a HH service.
Great service. Pleasant atmosphere. The food was well made although the table side Caesar salad lacked some flavor and dressing. The other food was well made and flavorful but the steaks were very undercooked. But would recommend and try again.
The tomato salad was very cold. The flavor would have been much better at room temperature. The salmon was too sweet. The cavatelli was very good. Our server was too chatty. Our plates were removed too soon. One of the guests did not receive her coffee. The Caesar salad was excellent. The pastas were good, although the ravioli was too undercooked
Wagyu beef was a big disappointment! We will order the regular Filet Mignon next time.
Yes but... we are very frustrated with reception response and overall customer service upon arrival. Our records indicate clearly where we do not want to be seated and they can’t get it right. I even called day of to try to avoid what seems routine and it still was a hassle. Close to moving on even though we love their cuisine.
The food was fantastic along with the atmosphere. Felt at ease, never rushed and our waitress was very friendly and made you feel at home.

Dorona is a great restaurant. They have great meat, fish and pasta dishes that you will feel are some of the best in Naples, FL. They also make a great martini!
We wanted to give it a try and it was good but not great. We had a drink at the bar and it was a generous pour which is a nice touch as many restaurants skimp on the pour. The ambiance is okay but is not up to par for an expensive steak house. The steaks were tasty but again not up to par for the prices so for those reasons we say it’s a bit overpriced. Two people spending $200 can do better in Naples.

The food was great.We had the octopus appetizer which was delicious. I had the Pallea it was good but too much chorizo needed more seafood but was very good, rate it 8.

Food was not good. Service was okay.
I had the lollipop lamb chops. I was assured by the server, after asking, that the lamb chops were not small like a "cocktail lollipops" . When they came they were not regular chops as she described. There were 3, small, thin and very fatty chops. "Fatty" was my complaint. Certainly not worth the price, Neither the server of the manager apologized. They denied any thing was wrong saying the fat gave it flavor. They offered a free dessert which I didn't take. That wasn't the point. They were rude and indifferent. The steaks ordered by others at the table were mediocre.

Tomahawk Steak came out lukewarm.
Paying that price you would think it would have came out still hot and sizzling.
Wife’s paella was too greasy and spicy.
Son’s chicken sandwich was very bland.
The 9 layer chocolate cake was moist and delicious.
Definitely the best part of our meal.
We had a fairly simple lunch (soup special, flat bread, chickpea salad). All were delicious. We plan to come back for dinner!

The food was good , not great . Of two steaks which were ordered , one had a lot of gristle. The second steak was ordered medium rare and was presented medium well done. The server took it away to remake , but the assistant manager came to the table and denied anything was wrong with the stake because the temperature taken indicated it was medium rare. It was not even close , which the server witnessed when my husband cut into his steak. The manager actually tried to defend this over done steak instead of apologizing profusely for the mistake . Very poor customer service.
