A lovely Sunday evening meal. Authentic Italian food - very well prepared. Enjoyed Negronis, wine and an Italian craft beer. Very attentive hosts looked after us and they even added a birthday sparkler

I booked this restaurant as part of a special day out in Highgate, after a fair amount of online research. Alas the alarm bells were ringing as soon as we walked through the door - there was only one other table occupied and this was 1.30pm on a Saturday (eventually we were one of four tables). The welcome was warm and the service prompt. The Aperol spritzes were great. But alas the food was not bad but nothing special. There was a kids’ menu but it’s hardly great value - a kids’ margherita pizza cost £14.50, only £1 less than an adult vegetariana. The focaccia was not focaccia but a pizza base. The pizzas were no better than ok. The chicken Milanese wasn’t worth £23.80. It wasn’t a disaster by any means but we left disappointed.

Nice restaurant. Good fresh food limited choice but probably due to sparse attendance as holiday week. Prices rather high for out of town location. Good selection of Italian wines.
