   We get it.... It's a resort affiliated restaurant, but being kama'aina and doing 'staycation' we thought let's give it a try. DK needs some work…. 1. Food was pretty good. Teriyaki Beef (pupu) was outstanding. Entrees: Salmon and MahiMahi were good. Though, only drip coffee, with creamer presented in individual serving pods like we are at the gas station… 2. Ambience. 70s vibe. Glass wine cellar upon entry doubles as a storage area…. Unsightly mess with trash visible on the floor. Outdoor gas lamps not working. Hostess commented they have been out for several weeks. Whole decor needs a refresh.... 2. Service. Waitress was really trying.... We got the 'we are disorganized’ vibe the second we walked in. Had early reservations, tables open everywhere, no hostess for about 10 mins, then took another 15 to be seated. Asking numerous times for the same item not acceptable

   We did not have a great experience. Drinks were terrible, no lemons in 5e whole restaurant for my water, server forgot to bring us bread, vegis were cold! The only good item was the filet! The steak was very good. That being said we would not recommend going here. Not worth the money for the service we got.

   Our server is top notch. The food was good but not great. Very robust menu and beer, wine, and cocktail offerings

   Great food prices are just a little too expensive, should have free sides with the cost of the steaks Service was great a little too dark interior maybe put some white on the walls to lighten the place a little

   Service was slow food was not good at all and we were never asked how our steak was and if it was prepared correctly. Could not have gotten out of there any faster.

   I would not recommend unless you want to spend a lot of money for mediocre food , side dishes are extra . The service was poor , with our food delivered and getting cold but no plates to eat on , I was forced to find our waiter . The manager was of little help . We were to go to Easter brunch (over $200 ) but after our dinner experience we cancelled. I now know why the restaurant had few guests.

   We only get to Oahu about once a year and love to stop by DK Steak House. It wasn't as lively this time around, but there was a parade outside! We really liked the marrow bones and were disappointed they are no longer on the menu. We ordered the aged ribeye, which was good, but not as good as we remembered. The drinks were delicious and we liked our server. He was fun and knowledgeable. Can't wait until the palm trees grow taller - they are now right at eye level so you can't see the ocean :(.

   I ordered the 30 day dry aged prime rib and I can tell you what I got wasn't Prime. The meat was tough a d wasn't cooked to temperature. The crab dip was watery, I found out later their oven was broken. The waiter told me the wine list is being updated so ni Cab's and was pushing a pinot. Mudd pie was frozen sold and my spoon couldn't even cut through the ice cream I let it sit for 10 mins for it t8 soften up. I would not recommend eating here.

    Overall, this was a blase dining experience. Staff were nice enough. Food was okay.
