    Had an excellent dinner. Scott our server was knowledgeable plus entertaining and attentive. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable. See you soon.

    Service was spectacular. Our waiter Aaron really cared about our experience and the chef accommodated an inferior cut of meat. We appreciate the attention. However, an evening out at a quality establishment should not involve sending your steak back to the kitchen. The cocktails were substandard and the fish was way too salty although perfectly cooked. No excuses can recover an expensive night out on vacation.

    This place is a New Orleans classic for a reason. While it sides on the traditional steakhouse menu more than a specific New Orleans flavor, this is a reliable spot for a good steak with the classic sides.

    This was the first time we are here. The food was absolutely amazing the steaks were tender and juicy and the flavor was out of this world. If we ever travel to New Orleans again this is definitely a must for us.

    Dickie Brennan’s is a must anytime we visit New Orleans. This visit did not disappoint !! From the moment we walked in, the reception made us feel like we were special. Our server continued with an amazing performance. The salad, potatoes, steaks and bread pudding were above and beyond what we remembered from our last visit. Thank you for making the end of our visit so memorable!!

    Food was delish and memorable for sure. Low score for service is for the hostess. We had a reservation for a booth (we thought) but she would not honor it. Disappointing as this was a 40th wedding. anniversary.

    Very timely and attentive service both at the bar and while dining. No one hovering, but the bartender and waiter always appeared at about the exact right time for drink and food orders. The food was great, no rush, and the arrival of appetizers and entrees was appropriately spaced. Overall, a great dining experience and we plan on returning soon.

    Our order came out wrong so while the entire table ate, I ate my side dish, then my steak finally came out 15 minutes later. Not great service when you can’t eat your entire plate at the same time and you’re charged $80 for a meal! Have gone 4 times before this one, but will not be returning ever again!

    This was our first visit to New Orleans, and to Dickie Brennan’s. It was superb until we returned to our hotel and saw our to-go dessert was tiny, and sloppily thrown into the container. So disappointed. Other than that it was outstanding. Would highly recommend. Best steak ever!

    The food we did get was delicious but when you order soup and salad that never arrived, it leaves you feeling disappointed. No real explanation was given. In a town full of amazing food. It’s the service that also important. Service that wasn’t there tonight. Every table is important. We felt that we weren’t.

    First - this is my second time dining at Dickie Brennan's, and having remembered my first experience as total bliss, I wanted a repeat. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I ordered a Limoncello Spritz (an Aperol Spritz only with Limoncello) and got Limoncello and soda. They remake the drink and it's all Limoncello with just a splash of Prosecco - totally undrinkable. We had escargot for the appetizer and it was cooked beautifully and very tasty. I had the wedge salad, which had great flavor, but was drowning in dressing. The ribeye steak was ordered medium but arrived medium-rare, which was okay since I'd rather have an underdone steak than an overdone. We finished off dinner with bread pudding, and while the sauce was great, the bread pudding was like a brick - very firm, even hard on the edges, almost like it was overcooked or maybe even reheated from a couple of days before. The room was very crowded and extremely loud. Don't go here if you want to have a conversation with your companion, unless you can use sign language or read lips well. My experience left me a little heartbroken for sure.

    My group enjoyed the food and the service, however not only was a very loud, obnoxious group of men seated next to us in the main dining room- they were not moved or removed by management. I was very disappointed in the lack of concern for all the other customers as there was yelling and cursing from that table. My group’s experience was ruined by this group of men who felt entitled to behave like savages in a fine dining establishment. There was also a table of pre-teen boys who barely spoke one table over who had excellent manners, and their fathers were at another table also horrified by the rude group of six men. This was an example of sacrificing the entire main dining room for an uncivil group that could not maintain decent behavior for two hours and the staff and/or management decided that was acceptable.

    We had a wonderful pre-theatre dinner here. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of elegance and refinement, the only thing that would have improved the experience would have been some nice background music (emphases on background). I can not say enough to complement our waitress, she was there at exactly the right times and made wonderful recommendations. When each course was severed at least three of the staff delivered all the items at the same time, like a well choreographed play but overbearing or intrusive. It is obvious this staff is very well trained. Of course you need to start with good people and our waitress had a delightful personality. Our strip steak was cooked to perfection and may have been one the best steaks I have had in years. In short on a 1-10 scale this experience was an 11 and we can wait to return. We know the waitress to request and the steak to order.

    The steaks, sides, and deserts are always amazing! This time we had the prime strip, ribeye, au gratin potatoes, asparagus and the coconut cake. I can’t explain how good all of it was. Amazing!

    Our waiter was obsessed with the hostess. He was standing next to the table and I asked 3 times for another drink. Then he openly admitted he was starring at the hostess while she sat ever single guest. Then our food came and one of the servers actually said to my wife... I'm going to put the Mac and cheese next to her she looks like she needs it.

    We both had the 6 oz filet -- cooked perfectly with sides of mushrooms and au gratin potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly, served hot, and pleasing to the eye. The taste of the food -- superb! We expected a good steak and we received it! Our server was excellent and just demonstrated the Brennan brand by his actions and care. We did have the baked brie for appetizer -- a fun way to start the meal. We ended by splitting a piece of MS mud pie. Really good night. The parking was also easy and affordable for the quarter -- right next door.
