Traditionally we celebrate the 3rd of July dining at Del Frisco’s and have never been disappointed. Tonight was no exception and our server Quincy made our evening even more exceptional. She is one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. From the minute you drive up, walk in and are seated, everyone stops to welcome you. Not too many other places do that. I originally booked and requested patio upstairs and was seated upstairs in an overflow section of the dining room. We asked if it was possible to move and understood given the occupancy it might not be possible. Within minutes our server made the change. We were escorted to a more quiet, comfortable table on the patio. Our son is autistic and had a headset on just in case. We did not call attention to that however they graciously made the charge. That’s where we met Quincy. She quickly presented water, took drink and appetizer orders while continuing to check on us for dinner while serving others in her section. We did not have to ask for refills and she staged our delicious appetizer and dinner very well so as not to rush us yet made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy dinner. Outstanding restaurant, service and menu items. Thanks to Quincy,Chef and the rest of your staff for making our family feel so welcomed.

Nice Sunday evening meal of salads. The Cobb salad isn't a traditional Cobb and was good but the filet mignon added was very salty. The salmon Caesar was delicious and fresh. We are Landry's members so we eat here often and the first time we ordered salads. They would be a nice lunch option but not sure I would order them again.

Del Frisco’s disappoints again. I ordered a filet Oscar style. I was served a plain steak. I brought it to the attention of the server. After waiting several minutes, I decided to eat with my guest so as to not be rude. About 20 minutes later, when I had 2 bites of steak remaining, the server returned with the Oscar topping. What was I to do with it at that point?And I was charged for it. Very disappointing.

Overall, we were pleased, but I was greatly disappointed with the added lobster tail for $23. It was very underwhelming. The ahi tuna tacos as an appetizer were fantastic. We sat upstairs at the bar, and Seppe was great to visit with and made our evening enjoyable.

One of our favorite restaurants in Southlake seems to be declining in food quality and service. It was Father's Day but not very busy at the time of our reservations. The hummus appetizer was very runny and lacked structure. The pita bread was overgrilled and brittle, making it impossible to dip into the hummus. The manager was wonderful and had the kitchen remake the hummus and pita bread. Improved hummus structure but 2nd time they added too much lemon. The pita was fluffy and nicely served this time. Not overgrilled. The French onion soup was mostly cheese. Very sparse on soup and crouton. The steakhouse salad was grilled to perfection and tasty. We ordered a slice of cheesecake to share. Didn't have the texture or taste of traditional cheesecake. Our waiter was professional but seemed stretched for time with us. We had so many different people waiting on us, that our service level slipped through the cracks. Our waiter didn't seem to have much knowledge about Chardonnay wines - oaked vs unoaked, dry vs sweet. Maybe a wine cheatsheet would be helpful for waitstaff? In summary, we expected a better experience from Del Frisco's Grill than what we received. Hopefully, our review will aid in improvements at this once-a-5-star restaurant.

Angel was our waiter and we were seated upstairs for Father’s Day. The entire experience was amazing from the food, the service, wait time, & drinks. We had an amazing time! Thank you Angel!

We’ve eaten at Del Frisco Grille numerous times over the years and loved it, but it had been a while, and this time we noticed a decline in the quality of the dishes. The shrimp cocktail shrimp were smaller than they used to be, and the short ribs and mahi mahi portions were tiny, they were small plate sizes at a full plate price. In fact, the portions were so small, we had to order two additional dishes to make up for it. No complaints at all about the service, though. Our waiter was wonderful! Very friendly and attentive.
