Food was kind of bland. Felt the restaurant was a bit crowded for the pandemic
We had a reservation for my friends birthday pretty early in the evening around 5. Our waiter seemed a bit frazzled and overwhelmed which was annoying but we were there to have a good time so whatever. It took a LONG time to get drinks and as we sat there and every table around us was filled we waited a really long time for everything. On the plus side Our food was delicious! I tried to be sneaky and ask the waiter to add two desserts for my friend’s birthday, but they forgot one and then didn’t even acknowledge her birthday when he brought it. I know covid has made everything weird and I completely understand slower service due to less people working, although I don’t understand the “attitude” from some service people. I worked in the service industry for years and everyone is entitled to a bad day, I just prefer to have slightly friendlier service when paying for a nice dinner :)
Terrible all around
Over priced for what you get
It’s unfortunate that 2 tables near us brought toddlers with them who were naturally quite noisy. Perhaps families with tiny kids could be seated in the back room so that adult diners could enjoy a quiet upscale experience.
We all understand restaurants may be struggling with COVID as far as staff and food quality but was disappointed with our experience for a special birthday dinner. One of our steaks was overly seasoned which over-powered the dish and our side of roasted broccoli was surprisingly dry and bitter. In the past with a special occasion (communicated with our reservation), we have usually received a small dessert to celebrate but not this time. Overall we just expected more for the prices charged and hope they improve. Perhaps the Greenwood Village location is faring better these days.
They’re taking too many reservations online then they have room for. We had a reservation inside, and were told by the unfriendly hostess that they had given away all the reserved tables and we could either eat outside or wait for 30 minutes. We took the outside, then had to wait close to 15 just for a waiter to approach the table. Food, when it came, was alright. And the waitress, Rebecca, was very helpful and friendly. it was the hostess stand where the problems really were.
Steaks and appetizers tasted great, but lobster tails were not fresh and they weren’t even warm when we got them. We also had to ask for butter (it wasn’t even offered). The service was also slow and scattered. Really had higher expectations for this dinner celebration.
Alexandra and her Team were phenomenal. Highly recommend this location. Steaks were amazing. Perfect sear and crust on the exterior and to our exact temperature preference.
Great service and food
I was visiting from California and wanted to find a restaurant for lunch in the Cherry Creek area. My sister-in-law and I ordered the BBQ Shrimp Cob, my brother ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich, and my daughter ordered the Green Salad with Shrimp. Everyone was happy with their selection. The food was delicious, the service impecable and the ambiance was lovely. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to eat in this area.
My party of 6 had a 7:30 pm reservation. Our food was served at 10:15 pm. The restaurant according to its own hours closes at 10:00 pm. Our server provided no explanation for the delay and promised a conversation with a manager that never transpired. Drinks were hard to come by. Water was even more elusive. We all have the consensus view that this was the worst service experience we’ve ever encountered.
Vacation and wanted a del frisco vodka dessert but it wasn’t offered at this location.
Zero Stars!!! OMG!!! This place was TERRIBLE!! First off the table and seating was ridiculous!! The table was at chin level. The service was just fair. The food was so sub par I am astonished! This is supposed to be a high end restaurant but the food was substandard! Ordered NY strip was fatty small and so thin . Not cooked properly. Mushroom side came out cold. Don’t waste your money or time!! This place is a joke!!
My halibut could have been excellent but it was overcooked and a bit dry. The server never came by to check on our meals. My friend ordered a medium well filet but it arrived raw, he had to return it. The server did not bring back his filet until the rest of us (3) were done with our entree. Unfortunately the service needs work, we still gave 20% left happy to be with our friends and atmosphere (great roof top) but disappointed with the food and service.
The wait staff was on top of it.
Looking forward to trying their cheesesteak egg rolls. Tasty, but only 2. cut in half. Very little meat and cheese. $15 terrible value
Corn bisque was good
BBQ shrimp salad had interesting dressing which was good
Short rib parpadelle was good
Ok dining experience, but just didn’t get us excited enough to return
Old Fashioned was a little to sweet for me
I had the fresh catch of the day, which was halibut. It was outstanding! Sometimes I am wary about ordering halibut because it is so easily overcooked and turns out dry and stringy. This time it was tender and succulent! I loved it.
Food and service quite good on a chilly evening on the upstairs patio. Server made helpful suggestions on menu items and wine. Too bad the fire in the table center couldn't be lit!
Good meal, I still maintain that this location is better than the older location in Greenwood Village. However, despite the low volume of customers, the service was a little shaky, probably due to covid staffing levels. But otherwise the usual good experience.
Food was subpar, especially considering the prices. The asparagus was yellowing from being so old, as was the broccoli. The prosciutto looked like it had been squeezed into a ball. The steak was ok.
The server seemed like he didn't want to be there and was just going through the motions. The staff in general seemed flustered and not cohesive. I expected more, especially for $500.
Our water was unfriendly and inattentive
We dined with another couple on the open air second floor deck. It was a beautiful evening, although a little smoky from the recent fires. We enjoyed a generous portion of ribs, crab cakes, and fresh fish, all very good. Beer selection was somewhat limited, but looked like wine choices were more than adequate. The wait staff were very attentive, and friendly.
Beautiful day on the patio. Waiter was only fair. Slow to take our order, very slow to get the check. Not very busy either
Our server was amazing first and foremost, she was really nice, kind and sweet.
We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary and we were sat behind the bar and it was so loud, lots of staff near us the whole time and the food was okay - the steaks and Caesar salad were overly salty. We spent our anniversary last year at Del Frisco’s in DTC and we were definitely made to feel a bit more special than in CC. Sorry but don’t think we will return.
I have never been disappointed at Del Frisco's Grille. The food, cocktails, service and atmosphere are all top notch.
The ambiance was terrible for a $40 steak place. Bare floors and high ceilings made it seem more like a sports bar. Instead of soft dinner music, it was very loud, awful music. I ordered my steak medium, but it was burnt. They did offer to make me another, but then everyone else would be done eating. I wish I had and then just taken it home. There was also a mix up on the sides.
The food was decent the view was very nice the ambience really sold it more than the food
We didn’t get seated until 6:30 because they had a particular seat adjustment of “first come, first serve “ which disregards reservations! Not happy with this at all.
We went for my husbands 50th birthday. I put it in the comments and the host told our waitress but there was no acknowledgement. Had to pay for parking even though it was supposed to be complimentary. A nice lunch, great upstairs patio. But terrible service. Told the host on the way out and received an insincere apology.
My boyfriend and I walked in to Del Frisco’s at 6:05 PM and were told that we could not be seated. Then we walked outside and made a reservation on open table for 615. When we came back inside they were angry at us for “beating the system”. Just not good overall care of customers and rudeness.
Great service and the food was great, but I was a little disappointed since they ran out of salmon the night before. I took a friend for her Birthday and she wanted to order salmon. It was otherwise a great dining experience.
Outside dining is great. The food and service were exceptional.
We decided last minute to get out after many months of not dining out with friends. We were able to get in with no wait on a Saturday night, that maybe was a clue. Service was fine, they seemed short staffed but as long as we had cocktails it wasn’t an issue. We ordered apps where fine, a cheese plate, can’t really go wrong there and Ahi Tacos, they were good. Dinner arrived two out of the 4 mains were cold, one of us had the fish special which was cold and tough, yes fish was tough. My husband had a steak, a ribeye which was skinny and “blah”, it was not your usual steakhouse steak by any extent of the imagination. A cold in edible Chicken sandwich was delivered to our friend and broccoli to which I assume stated frozen in a bag came out almost in the same state. We were comped a round of drinks and I ate a delicious bowl of Golden Grahams when I got home after spending over $300 on a dinner we barely ate and truly didn’t enjoy.
This particular Del Friscos Grill is not on par with others we’ve been to. The service was lackluster and the food wasn’t prepared quite as well as what we are used to.
Is it still a good value? Of course. Is there room for improvement? Undoubtably. The brand is better than what we experienced.
Kinda rude when they want you to leave. They claimed they forewarned us of a 1.5 hour table limit, but no one ever told us anything like that. Lame. Other than that, the food was very good and the rooftop is very nice.
Very disappointed with the manager on the upstairs outdoor dining area. I made a reservation to celebrate both of my sons birthdays but the allotted time to stay at our table didn’t allow us even to “sing” happy birthday-
We were kicked out of our table even though the service on there end was not timely - we were allowed 1 hour 30 minutes but no where does the restaurant advise you and it’s not posted on open table. If so - I would have made other arrangements.
I didn’t complain - I promptly paid the bill and we left. We will not go back.
I had the reservation for over a week. Arrived and they weren’t really set for us. Put a group of 6 at a smallish round table almost in the entryway. Our server was FANTASTIC. The food was good except for the shaved steak sandwich which was way overdone. This is usually like a French did with nicely pink beef. If it had been my meal I would have sent it back. All the rest was great.
Disappointed in my latest visit to Del Friscos. Hostess did not verbally acknowledge our party on arrival. Temperatures on steaks were wrong. "Weird Science" blared over the sound system (80s Pandora station?). Despite steaks being undercooked, the food was still quite good, and our server was diligent and polite. I'm just going to chalk this one up to difficult times and will give DF's another look in the future.
Everything was great but super bummed that there was no happy hour
