Everything was outstanding!!! Down to the chocolate mousse desert! My boyfriend and I considered going back the second day cos we kept seeing the food in our dreams . Hahah. He is a very picky eater but kept saying the salmon with herb caper sauce was the beat he’d ever had! we will definitely be going to the Atlanta location once back to base . If you need proof to make a decision on this restaurant, this is it!
The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice. Wait staff was supurb.
The atmosphere was great! Crab cake was delicious!
Service was impeccable
We both loved the food and the service, the lobster tail trio and fillet mignon were very good picks.
The waiter was superb. He did not bother us as we discussed business. The food was excellent. A perfect experience.
Phenomenal service. We were well attended to. Felt spoiled by the waiters and staff. Enjoyed a special, rare date night.
Food is very disappointing. Ordered a dry-aged ribeye and it was the worst steak I have eaten at a steakhouse. Great service but poor food quality. Lobster Mac and cheese tasted like Mac and cheese from a box with some lobster thrown in.
Very loud rock music during our expensive steak dinner, asked three times to lower music....manager came to table and finally lowered the sound but kept the “Bang A Gong” song...
Dinner was good, but waiter did not ask us if we wanted dessert.
Do not recommend
It was amazing, food was excellent, atmosphere was very inviting and relaxing. They even surprised us for our anniversary with a cake and candle so it was great!
Great place to go and enjoy a nice quiet dinner. Great food and service
My husband and I were there to celebrate our anniversary. It’s evident that the attention to detail and quality of the food is not the same as in the past. My husband had the Colorado lamb which he said was not tender. I had a simple 8 oz filet mignonette which although cooked pink as I requested was not juicy. In the past I’ve had the filet and it always was juicy and tender. It’s obvious that the quality has gone down. Del Frisco’s used to be our favorite “special occasion” restaurant. Unfortunately it no longer is. Even the waitstaff’s customer service has gone down. They used to every attentive and engaging. Now, they seem to be just going through the motions.
We had a very early reservation so thought the food would be exceptional but 2 of us ordered medallions of beef and both were over cooked and looked like scrap tenderloin, not the normal beautiful small circles. They resembled tiny balls. They should really list the ounces on the menu so guests can better choose their entrees. The lobster mac was delicious and the green beans were ok. We just expected something more interesting for the cost of the entrees. We had a bottle of wine and it was good. Our server was very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful.
Our waiter gave excellent service and recommendations to us and the food was superb. Zack was top notch!!! Thanks again for a wonderful evening
Wife and I went there and first off we have no gripes about the service. The food however we do have an issue with and lets start with the lobster bisque. It honestly tasted like it came out of a soup can but we ordered the crab cake also so we enjoyed that which was absolutely delicious. Now comes the ribeye and let me say we were truly disappointed. It was super small and this was supposed to be a 16oz but it looked more like and 8 oz....we have been to many steakhouses and this is truly the worst one for steak. The crab cakes were superb though so if and its a very big if we come back we may just try something else but will definitely not order the ribeye.
Wasn’t s big fan of the waiter. Made us feel like we are at a chili’s and not a fine dining steakhouse
Sat at the bar service was great food was great it was absolutely freezing will not sit at the bar again
It was a wonder and nice dinner we had. It was quite the high quality service. Would recommend!
Service and food was great. A very enjoyable experience.
Seated quickly, food recommendations were great and we enjoyed a great dinner! Always a pleasure to dine here. The VIP is delicious as is the Honey Barrel!
We celebrated our 32nd Wedding Anniversary and enjoyed visiting this location again. The food is always superb and delicious. We will be back again as usual.
La comida excelente
Buena carta de vinos
While this was a great dinner, it didn’t compare to other steakhouses I’ve visited in Houston. They weren’t very accommodating for our party of 8 - wouldn’t put our tables together so we had to sit separate. It was also freezing inside so that in addition to not being able to sit with our entire family made dinner less enjoyable. All that aside, the servers were wonderful and food delicious.
The food was great and the service was amazing. You won’t be disappointed .
Son was leaving for the Army.
We had an amazing time. Everything from the food, the service & the ambience was top-notch. The appetizers were exquisite, we had the oysters and tuna tartare. The 45 days aged Ribeye is the best we’ve ever had. My wife also said that they made the best dry martini ever.
Our server, Zach, provide us with exceptional attention and care. We are definitely coming back! Thank you for making our anniversary date night such an enjoyable experience.
Waitress was awesome. Great atmosphere. Good food!
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Houston. I like everyone that works there.
Nice servicer and the waiting time were slow. still waiting for my credit card to clear # 2charges on the same night.
This is a real inconvenience to me and I have to watch my bank account for the next couple of days.
My experience tonight was the opposite of my previous visit’s.
The food was sub bar. My steak was over cooked and the second attempt resulted in a cold steak but prepared at medium.
Was unable to finish my meal. Will not be returning.
It was a bit noisy and we had asked for the Music to be turned down but it took a while to have that happen. However the waiter was amazing
The only thing that was distressing was I had ordered this dessert but he said a menu was not available and it turned out to be $13 which I thought was a bit excessive, because I wasn’t given the price before when I asked.
Otherwise the food was delicious, the weather was wonderful except for that one instance and we will definitely come back
We visited for my birthday and the staff was super accommodating and nice. The food wasn’t as tasty as I would have liked but our server was great and the team was super inviting. I’d go back for happy hour or something like that.
Two things, the waiter did not offer bread and he charged 2 American coffee at espresso prices.
The wait staff was great, was very knowledgeable. The food was just what I ordered and it was GREAT.
Dined for HRW 2020. The steaks were impeccable. Our server was excellent. Would definitely return.
The seafood tower was small compared to other high end restaurants I have had dinner at. The entree was good but the steak lacked seasoning. As far as the waiter the service was terrible!! He was more worried about the large party in the room next to us. I had to ask a different waiter two different times to get my husband another drink prepared.
Our dinner experience last night was spectacular and that was thanks to Nicholas, our waiter. Nicholas delivered excellent service by providing additional information on menu items, making recommendations and ensuring everything was up to par.
We had the broiled oysters and lobster bisque for start. The oysters were flavor packed and the bisque superb (one of the best bowls I’ve ever had).
Next, were the Colorado lamb rack, the bone in steak topped with crab cake —with the lobster Mac, creamed corn and au gratin potatoes. Our entrees were cooked to perfection; I initially had my doubts about the pistachio crust on the lamb but this added great texture to the lamb (something I didn’t realize I needed)! The only thing that had me raising one brow was the au gratin potatoes which fell short compared to all the remaining dishes.
We were so full by dessert time but couldn’t help our curiosity when Nicholas mentioned the banana bread pudding. It was the perfect way to end our night.
Drinks that stood out most: a pineapple vodka martini and the earl gray infused old fashion! Not a bad first impression for Del Frisco’s.
Just because 😊
Our server was incredible and definitely went above and beyond for our table. He was very attentive and had a very lively personality. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our visit.
We have an excellent meal at part of Restaurants week
