Buttered New England Roll
Great experience as always!
Definitely our favorite steakhouse in Denver. The side dishes, desserts, and service put it above Shanahan’s. The manager Chris is always attentive.
been here 4 times previously...this time the service was marginal at best. While the food was still outstanding it felt as if we were left waiting for long times in between table visits, which meant our drinks were empty for some time before getting refills and the overall feel of service was considerably lacking. We came a bit earlier, for a 6pm dinner thinking it would be less busy and more attentive, however that wasn't the case. When you're spending above $100/person you expect to have better service than this.
Del Frisco’s is consistently excellent.
I thought the 8 oz filet mignon, medium well, was a bit overcooked, as did my granddaughter on her 4 oz filet. When our server, Nicole, asked us to cut our steaks to check that they were prepared as we had asked, both of us had trouble even cutting the steaks. First I thought I had been given a dull knife, but my granddaughter had the same issue. However, will say that, once cut, steak was prepared as I had asked, medium well, and it was delicious. My granddaughter had ordered one of the specials .... a 4 oz filet and a 4 oz lobster tail. She remarked to us that her lobster was overcooked and she had trouble getting it out of the tail. My daughter was in the restroom when Nicole asked us to cut our steaks, so she did not experience this. And, this being by daughter's first time at Del Frisco's, she had nothing to compare the experience too. I've been there many times and I had taken my granddaughter once before, so I knew/know this time, the steaks were not as good as the past. Having said all the above, will still recommend Del Frisco's for a delicious meal.
Birthday for spouse
This was my first time at this restaurant. Menu options looked good. The food was tasty but some was way to rich and over-flavored.
The service was pretty good as was the ambiance.
Honestly for the price it just wasn’t worth it. Good not great which I expect at those prices.
Our server, Kyle, was excellent! This was our first time at Del's since quarantine and it definitely had a different vibe! I usually give the food a 5 star rating, couldn't this time due to shrimp appetizer that seemed a little overdone. My husband had the bone-in filet with crab and we did have a little sticker shock to find out it was $93.50!
Overall a good experience and we will go back!
So thankful we were able to have our business meeting at the Restaurant Chris the manager and the entire staff was able to provide the high level of service you would expect for the establishment they went above and beyond to accommodate all the needs of every guest and we could not more more pleased so thanks with all the restictions of Covid you are doing a great job and your staff should be commended
After going to this restaurant for 19 years we had a bad experience. We ordered grilled oysters for an appetizer and they were cool, not hot. I ordered a NY Strip but was delivered a rib eye. My wife ordered filet medallions and they were tough.
The service was prompt and attentive but the food totally missed the mark.
Amazing as always! Their new and improved tuna tartar was so delicious, steak perfect, French fries were a great new side addition (definitely ask for the avacado ranch), lobster mac never disappoints, and cheese cake to finish was delectable. Servers made our night feel special and were both great!
Loyal for 22 years! Best steak I’ve ever had!!
Nathan was absolutely fantastic!
Food was subpar compared to other experiences. Disappointed and don’t know if we will be back again.
Always a great experience!!
We were disappointed in the quality of the strip steak. I know it is a cheaper cut - $68 - but I thought for that price it would be more tender. It was tough and without much flavor. There were 4 of us and the bill was $426. We each had one cocktail and one of us had 3 beers. No dessert or coffee. Not a good value for my money. Shanahan's and Elways are better.
We both had the “Double Eagle Tasting.” The lobster was so small and so overdone you couldn’t get it out of the shell. My wife’s steak was very rare and had to be sent back, mine was cooked OK but it was very small. For the money this was just a bad choice on the menu.
Very disappointed and we won’t be back
The food and the service are always excellent. However, we have been dining at this excellent restaurant for over twenty years and we truly miss many of our favorite items we have loved over the years. The current limited menu has eliminated many of the sides, appetizers and desserts we have always ordered and so much enjoyed. However their new chocolate mousse is quite good.
First time dining out in a long time. We were not disappointed. Great food, service and ambiance.
The food ( salmon Among other items ) was really GOOD once it arrived but sure took a
very long time to get / receive to be able to enjoy. Then we had to wait again ( longer )
For our waiter to correct our bill since we had asked for separate chks at the very start
but received Just 1 bill/ check which was wrong, the 2nd separate bills/checks STILL
wrong & finally, our CORRECTED checks. ( the wrong chks. were to OUR benefit by
Our Dining reason/celebration : Our Patsy is moving to SD
It was a slow night, yet my steak came out medium well (no pink), versus medium rare, what I ordered. I also had a small lobster tail and I had to really dig with my fork to get any meat to come out of the shell. Ultimately I was able to get 6 bites total from the lobster tail and they were not up to the standards I have come to expect from Del Frisco's. Additionally, we had to remind the server to bring our side dish. Not a bad experience but when you are paying $250 for 2 people you expect great service and food.
Sad to say I will not be back. I have been going to Del Friscos for years and the last few times each experience has been worse than the last. While the staff was very friendly, the quality has gone down hill. Steak came out way super rare for medium/rare steak. When asked if they could put it back on a little they were very happy to do so however it came back sizzling on the plate so much that it splattered grease on my friends shirt and was the steak was well done. Needless to say she did not eat it. However, they did give her a ticket to pay for her dry cleaning.....way up in Denver. They no longer serve traditional oysters but have tried to "fancy" them up. When we asked for traditional they stated "oh, you want them old school". Not typically something you would hear at a fine dining restaurant.
I have always loved Del Friscos but it seems to have gone from fine dining to a family restaurant. People in cargo shorts and T-shirts letting their children run around the tables.
We have had our office holiday party there every year for the past 12 years. Unfortunately, we will be looking elsewhere this year.
Our table was in the cigar room, it smelled of smoke. TV’s were on as it’s a bar area, kinda killed the mood. We were celebrating our boys’ 16th & 18th birthdays & they both requested Del Frisco’s as we have always had impeccable service & great food. Our entrees were brought out a good five minutes before our sides. The scalloped potatoes were cold as in refrigerator cold. We let the server know & they never brought out another dish of hot ones. We had to flag a waiter down for water refills. This is not the service I remember. The food was mediocre.....the best thing about our experience was the salad & dessert. Very disappointed as there were five of us & the tab was $620.00. For that price I expect a premium table & fabulous food & service. Sadly we won’t be back.
Del Frisco's never disappoints from the time you walk in the door until you leave you are treated like royalty. The food was so good, if you want a total steak house experience this is the place to go.
We love this location. The food and service are always exceptional.
2nd Wedding Anniversary. It was my first time eating out since February and the food was great, service was great and I get super safe.
A couple of slow service/food delivery moments, but overall a very enjoyable evening!
Delicious food and Excellent service provided by the wait staff!
This is a very special restaurant for us. We have spent several special celebrations there and the food has never disappointed. The last few visits we have had the same waitress; Nicole. She is so helpful, kind and attentive to our needs. She always has a smile and warm words for us.
The meals from steaks, to seafood and sides have been so good and well worth it for a special occasion.
We had a lovely evening on the patio! The GM, Chris is outstanding! He understands his clientele very well and takes the extra measure. Food and wine are always delicious.
Loved the porterhouse!
Great food and service
Service was great
Our son lives in Winter Park and he met us there for dinner. Will return to your restaurant! Everything was delicious.
Great atmosphere, great service and good safety protocols.
The waiter was an annoyingly frequent visitor to our table, droning on at each visit. Not blaming him -- probably under the direction of management to up sell. Otherwise it was a fine dinner, if a little dull compared with other Del Frisco locations.
I had made my request on open table for a booth. Which was not honored and instead we were seated right by the kitchen. There was a lot of confusion at the host stand. No one person was in charge. Bringing a steak out on plate with no garnish looks unfinished.... the broccoli/ kale salad (I asked for dressing on the side ) came with too much dressing.
There is no reason for these kind of mistakes. Your not that busy.
The best steak in town by far!!
Had a great time and great experience always a favorite place!
