FISH N' CHIPS
Peel and eat shrimp were like sponges, sent two orders back and they didn’t even comp anything. Fish was extremely fishy and the service was slow but they were incredibly busy.
Reservations easily made. Seated immediately upon arrival. Recognized by hostess for celebrating event. Waitress quickly attended to us, explained menu. Cocktails and Appetizers of coconut shrimp and oysters were delicious. Salads delicious. Entrees were delivered hot and quickly by kitchen staff. Didn’t see waitress until we were finished with our meals . We had ordered a bottle of wine but it was never delivered. Waitress and manager explained that staff had been reduced by that time of night and waitress was busy with multiple large groups. I’d say service suffered because of that. Food excellent. Not impressed with level of service, as it was not consistent.
Birthday meal. Was amazing.
Great new venue…they did a great job!!!
Waitress Pamela was wonderful but the short, bald male manager was so horrible I contacted corporate directly. I asked the manager for sweetener for my unsweetened iced tea and he immediately started being rude and yelling that I needed to let him know which specific type of sweetener I wanted. Meanwhile when a waitress brought it to me all the sweeteners were just in a container so I don’t know why he asked. He was super rude, unprofessional, condescending and much louder than necessary while he was listing the different types of sweeteners available because I wasn’t clear enough. He was so loud that it was embarrassing and caused a scene. Afterwards Pamela came over to apologize for how unprofessional he was and how she was going to let one of the other managers know. I was at the restaurant that day to “celebrate” by dads life and the 5 year anniversary of his death so my mom and I did not need to be yelled at by your highly unprofessional manager. He made a difficult day even worse l with his uncalled for attitude. As much as I enjoy the food here I may never come back because I hate to support businesses that clearly do not value customer service or professionalism. This manager further continued his unprofessionalism by never apologizing for how he acted and he never asked how our meal was. I want to further note that he spent much of his time yelling at the staff in his headset while standing at the front of the restaurant so it did not create any sort of “fine dining” atmosphere.
To noisy and overpriced. While the quality of their food was good, food did not correspond in quality for the price. Wait staff was attentive and professional - the only bright spot of our visit.
Food was great, the restaurant was very busy and our food came quickly, actually a little too quickly with not enough time between appetizers and the main course. But our server was very attentive and good, so I'll chalk this up to the kitchen.
Service was terrible. All the wait staff was brand new. They made mistakes with everything. The table was partially set and the previous table’s check was still on the table. We had to ask them to finish setting our table. They brought the wrong appetizers, the wrong salads and the wrong entrees. The food was horrible. We paid $230 dollars for an awful experience. The restaurant was crowded, chaotic and loud. We couldn’t wait to leave. Also, in spite of the OnTable description, there are essentially no vegetarian options either, which mattered for one person in our party.
Great Food and Service, a wonderful
Addition to the North Naples Dining
Scene. We are in the process of taking
Neighbors and Friends Soon
Our server Tom was fantastic. Food was delicious. We started out with crab Ragoons and I had the mahi and my husband had triple tail. I would recommend this restaurant
I had a wonderful time here celebrating my mother’s 60th birthday. The service was spectacular and the food was phenomenal. I definitely will be going back. Oh, and the place is really beautiful.
Ambiance is impressive! Love the aquariums. Rightfully popular, make a reservation for sure. Seabass special should be a permanent menu item, it was like butter in your mouth with a mildy tangy, sweet chili sauce.
New building is very nice. Our server Damian was very friendly and good. As usual our food was excellent. Chili rubbed tripletale is my favorite
The restaurant was well decorated and the bar area looked like a great spot for a drink. The food was disappointing. Myself and a friend both had the Hogfish. It tasted fishy and bland. My Cesar salad barely had any dressing on it. Others in our party were happy with their meal.
Had an evening with friend but restaurant was noisy until a
Bout 8.15. It was like being in a bar
The restaurant is beautiful.
Our waitress Rebecca was delightful, knowledgeable and efficient.
Noise level was annoying. Hopefully a solution can be found.
Please add some European White wines to your wine list eg Pinot Grigio. Some of us get headaches from American whites but not European ones. Who knows why?
Limited lunch menu. Great atmosphere and good service. Nicely done!
New facility Service outstanding Food good value Wine list great
Menu offers many versions of seafood. Our dinner was great.
The key lime pie was not very good. Disappointed in the dessert but the rest of the meal was outstanding
Wonderful staff, their brand location is beautiful.
Delicious fresh fish dishes! This is a great casual relaxed neighborhood restaurant. The new decor is very pretty and comfy . We’ll enjoy returning often!
We so wanted to like this newly opened Deep Lagoon but found ourselves disappointed. We twice saw the gentleman setting the tables grabbing forks by their tines, spoons by their cupped end and knives by the cutting end. In the age of Covid, how could a restaurant not train its employees in basic hygiene and best practices? The bread served was just blah and when coupled with cinnamon honey butter, an oddity that we've never seen in fine dining establishment. (As an aside, the waiter described the butter as "honey butter", which it certainly is not. The dominant flavor is clearly cinammon, not honey). The ability to select smaller portions of fish was a positive, but in general the fish was slightly over cooked. Our waiter muddled through the evening, causing us to wonder if this was his first week. So overall, while it may be opening pains that resulted in our disappointing experience, we won't be rushing to give Deep Lagoon a second chance. There are so many better Naples alternatives for the money.
Hadn’t been deep Lagoon for a long time after a couple of disappointments. Just didn’t like the old location. Was very excited about this new location and the upscale building they created.
Check-in was effortless, decor is very vibrant and upbeat. A little noisy in there. Could use some sound control.
We were seated at a hightop in front of the bar, Which was absolutely fine. Waiter came out and immediately took her drink order. A separate person delivered the drinks and didn’t bother to stay long enough to ask us if we needed any water or anything else.
Then we had about a 25 minute gap between getting our drinks and trying to flag down somebody to get some water as well as bread. We noticed every table around us had water and bread.
We finally asked a different waiter if he could find our waiter. He arrived almost immediately, no apology, no explanation, But did get us our water but missed the bread. We ordered our meals which were excellent.
We did not order second drinks. We figured we might be through our meal before they arrived.
I’m chalking this up to a new location, and still ironing out the wrinkles. Certainly will give it another shot. But was a little disappointed in the lack of attention to detail on the service side. Everything else seems to be functioning. We heard a few people say that the sound on the patio is extremely loud. The food was excellent.
New place - aesthetically great.
Leslie our server is fantastic!
Excellent food and good services!
Great small plates
Great oysters Rockefeller and fried
Beautiful new decor.
Food hit the spot
Definitely will go back
First time at their new location. The new restaurant has been designed very well and has a contemporary feel while retaining some of the traditional elements of the old place.
Food, as always, was delicious but it was clear they were having a few teething problems with scheduling in the kitchen. However, considering they have only been open for a week and that they were packed, they generally did a very good job.
Had a delicious dinner here last evening, as usual!
Love the new place!!! Thank you for remembering our Veterans, a very thoughtful gesture!
Wide variety of good seafood Like the new ambiance
Very good food, atmosphere, pleasant staff and great menu.
Excellent food, service and ambiance. I’d go back again!
If the noise level can be diminished, I would highly recommend this restaurant that we have always enjoyed. Our service was outstanding under the circumstances.
The decor is outstanding!....beautiful and appropriate for a special seafood restaurant.
So glad you moved to Pelican Bay....Welcome!
Delicious food and great service, but unenjoyable because of the high noise level. Could not wait to finish and leave.
Food was good. However, having just opened, they need to get better organized. Reception/check-in process seemed very disorganized as to identifying what tables were available requiring a delay in seating. We were seated in a porch area which contained several tables. Temperature and seating room was fine but it was quite noisy. Wait staff was pleasant but also seemed a bit uncertain about the items. We will return but will probably wait a few weeks in the hope they get better organized
Excellent Service, great food. Perfect atmosphere and priced appropriately!
New location is great but we REALLY miss the seafood counter and various sauces and seasonings for sale!!!
Great new place. Good food and excellent service
Still love the old location!
