For one night only, La Mesa becomes A Mesa! The second edition of La Mesa at Decimo is here and this time, we’re cooking things up with one of our forever favourites, Ixta Belfrage. You might remember Ixta from her 2023 takeover at Decimo or her tropical residency at Isla in 2024. This July 15th, she’s returning to the 10th Floor of The Standard, London for a very special one-night-only dinner- alongside Decimo’s Head Chef Paola to preview dishes from her brand-new cookbook, FUSÃO. A sharing menu of £90 pp. On the table: black-eyed pea cakes with toasted coconut salsa, crab pastel with a flaky golden crust, and a bright, briny mix of clams and oysters vuelve a la vida. Grilled prawns land alongside sweet plantain and a drizzle of rich dendê oil. Then come the mains — spatchcock chicken swimming in a lush coconut and dendê sauce, wild pink bream with a punchy green tomatillo and pistachio mole. On the side, charred leeks steeped in tucupi, grilled okra kissed with mango vinegar, corn esquites, warm masa tortillas, and a spread of salsas, pickles and ferments — everything that deserves a place in the middle of the table. You came, you partied, now you rally. Head upstairs to Decimo for a boozy brunch soundtracked by live performances. Expect flowing tequila and classic Mexican brunch dishes like short rib birria, chilaquiles, fresh tortillas, and more..

Embrace the Spanish tradition of sobremesa (on the table) from 10.45pm onwards and hang out post dinner or dance, and share small bites and agave sips. Ask your server for a selection of our favourite digestifs paired with tacos, desserts and cheeses.
