   My mom and I went for afternoon tea for a late Mother’s Day present and it was spectacular. The service was stellar, the food was incredible (the scones were fresh and the cucumber sandwich was to die for!), and the overall ambience and character of the Deane House is unrivalled. Can imagine choosing The Deane House for many future events and celebrations!

   I have always had an enjoyable experience at The Deane House. The food is incredible, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is gorgeous. I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! It is one of my absolute favorite places to dine in Calgary 😊

   The Sunday dinner special was a great way to finish off Mother’s Day! Fabulous food and great service. And the beverage pairings were spot on.

   Went here for the first time with my mom for Mother’s Day brunch and had an excellent experience. The interior and atmosphere were beautiful, the food was fantastic, and our server was lovely. They were able to make my meal gluten free no problem. We’ll definitely be back!

   My husband and I went for the afternoon tea experience for his birthday, and it was great. The food was delicious and surprisingly filling. The little butter chicken pies were so good. The tea selection was decent. Service was a little inattentive - we sat with empty tea pots for some time and the server only came around when it was time to ask for the bill. Over all, glad to have had the experience.

   Very n ice atmosphere, nice location, parking insufficient. Service outstanding. Food was in modest portions. Nice small cookies. The prices are very, very high. The cutlery and China exquisite. Good selection of teas. However you go for the posh treat, not for gourmet food and size of miniscule finger food. Good quality, healthy food, hand made treats, but mixed feeling about the High tea event! Not sure if you want to repeat the experience for the price. Probably will try Fairmont and see how that scores in 2025 price vs. options.

    My partner and I came here for our anniversary dinner. When we arrived, the staff were already kind and attentive; they had a card ready for us to congratulate us, and a few of the servers made lovely remarks about my outfit! The small but historic building overlooked the river, giving a great environment to sit and enjoy our meal. The food was on another level - and for the price, we had to wonder why we choose to spend similar amounts at other restaurants! We were impressed with every aspect of the experience, and definitely plan to go back for lunch and dinner in the future.
