Over the top from food to the service it was amazing food very good the owners work together with the staff hands on everything was awesome! Definitely will be going again the chef came out to talk to every table just awesome!
AMAZING FOOD!!!! So fresh!! Get the spaghetti pie or chicken Parmesan... I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu! Beautiful patio out back. Owner is genuine and sweet. Service was awesome and food is incredible! I will be back!
The food was good and reasonably priced. The waitstaff was curdiuos in wake of the pandemic. I would eat here again.
Best Italian Food in Town! The owners are wonderful people!
We absolutely loved the food and had a wonderful experience. We came for dinner and came back later the same night for dessert! We will definitely be back again.
Their food is Italian food at it's best. And better yet, they welcome you affectionately with a most sincere of smiles.
Great plentiful food. Good service. Servers masked.
Great Italian dinner and service! Owner and staff great.
Absolutely the best Italian restaurant in Colorado Springs. Thank you
We got there and only two other couples were in the restaurant. It took them forever to even come to our table, as they were too focused on the two other guests. Chicken Alfredo wasn’t good at all. The Alfredo was watery and the chicken wasn’t seasoned. The noodles were strange, some weren’t cooked, some were cooked good, and some were burned. We also drank all of our soda and never got asked if we wanted a refill. Our bread also came after our entrees, making it hard to enjoy the 10 dollar bread.
Father’s Day celebration with my father and my son
If you like authentic Italian this is the place to go! Food was excellent!
The food was dried out. Not enough sauce on any of our meals. Our waiter Only had two tables and did not check in on us often. The owner on the other hand was very friendly and nice. Hoping it was just an off night.
My husband and I had a great dinner and enjoyed all the staff who went above and beyond to ensure that we were enjoying everything.
The best Italian in Colorado Springs. Great food, excellent service and remember to have a Cannoli - they are fantastic
Delicious food. Great Service. Absolutely will go there again!
My favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs!!! Always a treat. Truly authentic Italian.
Love this place! Cozy and quaint food is delish
We come here often and always enjoy our time. The food is great. There is a solid wine selection. Staff is nice and fun. It is never fast so just plan for a good food at a slower pace you can enjoy.
Fabulous dining experience! Wonderful Brooklyn natives Dennis & JoAnn share family traditions in a cozy family atmosphere. Tremendous 7-cheese lasagne, “special” garlic bread, fresh and delicious Italian salad and dressing, and the most delicious cannoli we’ve eaten ANYWHERE!
Check this place out and enjoy!
I was so happy to get out to my fave restaurant! Food and wine were great!
I had veal parm after the mozzarella appetizer also great!
Tiramisu was fantastic!
Owner was so nice! It was my bday and he gave us a free after dinner shot😁❤
Fantastic food and service.
Had a great dining experience the I got Pasta Alfredo and the saliva was fantastic my only complaint is the chicken was a little bland but was cooked perfectly.
Enjoyed early Friday night dinner. Moved reservation up fron 7pm to 515pm by phone. They were very accommodating.
Meal was wonderful. The atmosphere was great nice quiet evening. The service was wonderful.
Sunday afternoon lunch was incredible. Our server got a little backlogged because he was by himself when we came in, but he did his best and more and more people came in.
We enjoyed the garlic bread appetizer that was well worth the price. It had the perfect flavor of the garlic and butter that I just couldn't help but finish them off.
The lasagna was delicious, full of various cheeses and sweet Italian sausage. Even though I had skipped breakfast to leave room for the lasagna, I still ended up taking some back to the hotel room.
It is fairly small, well, not a very wide building but it is deep; so a middle isle and four person tables to each side, all the way to the back where it opens a bit more.
Dennis is great and met us at the door on our first try, but a Friday night is not a good time to try and fine an empty seat or two. I highly recommend getting reservations at least a few days in advance.
We will definitely make it a point to eat here on our next trip to the area.
Great food. It was a busy night and we still received excellent service.
Dat’s Italian had a “hidden gem” kind of vibe. My wife and I are so glad we found it. Service was very good and very personable.
We've eaten here at least ten times and always love it; however the set menu we didn't care for. Food was mediocre and we felt rushed. We'll definitely be back for the regular menu but not a set menu.
We went there for valentine's day and we had an amazing first time. Food was outstanding and the desserts are amazing and i dont eat sweets, that says alot. Its a family owned business and they are very friendly, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you everyone at dats italian for amazing service.
Ambience would have easily been a 5; except, we were the only couple in restaurant and when another couple came in they were sat right beside us.
Some of the best Italian food in Springs. Cannolis make the trip worth it alone, but the chicken parm and truffle pasta were phenomenal. Highly recommend.
Amazing food, couldn’t believe I’d never been there before. My aunt is a real cheese aficionado and said the fires mozzarella was the best she ever had. The amount of ingredients made in house is amazing too. Don’t sleep on this place, it’s worth the trip!
Best Italian I've had in colorado springs. I highly recommend the Caprese antipasta as a starter. Everything on their menu sounds delicious. I went with a chicken dish. So good!
And for dessert, GET A CANNOLI!
Wonderful staff. Beautiful atmosphere
Dat’s was over the top great food. We love this little place. Cannolis the best anywhere!
We tried Dat’s Italian under less than ideal circumstances - arriving after a full day swim meet with 15 hungry people on a Saturday night with a reservation for 11. 😬. The staff handled it expertly - helping us move a table and chairs to squeeze everyone in. From there, they did everything to make the meal stress free, replenishing water glasses and bringing out water pitchers, immediately placing appetizer orders, taking orders for each group by check to simplify breaking up the check at the end, and checking on everyone throughout the meal to be sure everyone had what they needed, etc.
The food at Dat’s Italian was great. In particular, the fried mozzarella was so delicious, as was the lasagna, pasta w chicken and truffle, sausage and pepper pasta as well as the pesto pasta. We skipped dessert, but with regret, as the taramisu and cannolis looked very very good.
Overall good experience, but I think we caught the chef’s on an off night. Ambience was nice and laid back. Place smelled amazing. Service was stellar, but the food is where it counts. That was the most lacking area and it’s also the primary reason you go out to eat. If we go back we’re ordering different plates.
delicious food and a friendly face who served us. Dennis, the owner was great and the food was even better. my girlfriend and I will likely be going back when we get the chance
Really great food. :) The service was ... well...not so great, but it seemed that there were only 2 people waiting tables, so that would explain that. The kitchen is tiny (also seemed to only be 2 people), but the food is seriously amazing.
We were in a little corner with no light. They provided a small book lamp light that was so bright we couldn't have it on. That is probably a good thing since we were tucked in a dirty corner where the floor wasn't even so I kept tilting backwards. Haha! The food was horrible. The mozzarella came out cold, the breading was greasy and mushy. My pasta was overcooked. My husband enjoyed the taste of his food but sent it back to get microwaved. Service was slow but they were nice at least. This place has gone down tremendously in the last 2 years. I was so disappointed!
