Great pizza's the Carmel gelato is fabulous
I recommend sitting on bar level, bottom level noisy.
Get the beets. They’re incredible. Be prepared to be served slowly during busy times, so use that time to connect with your table mates and enjoy the dining experience. Good food, the prices were higher than the portions demanded. Wait staff seemed stretched thin and a bit tense. We walked into the establishment to hear a complaint being taken at the front. It was a lovely dining experience but we will reserve eating at Dante for non-nationwide holidays in the future!
We sat next to a child with a movie player that was turned up because of the noise level..it was hard to enjoy our lunch. Food was not as good as other times we have been there. We felt rushed. Overall it was not a pleasant experience.
Excellent food and Service! Highly recommend dining here if you haven't already.
The pizza and service are as close to Rome as you can get without being there! Charlotte our waitress is outstanding, super helpful in answering questions and really a fun person!
Very noisy and hard to have a conversation. Very slow for everything, dinner took almost 2 hours. Not sure why? Both husband and I described our food as a ‘salt bomb’.
Mussels were the best part of our meal
Had the best night with our girlfriends - fabulous wine recommendations, the food was on point and we didn't want the night to end.
Very enjoyable as always. One of the best restaurants in Omaha for farm to table and foodies. Always varies the menu while keeping some favorites. Loved the halibut although didn’t find any ramps which when I pointed that out the chef provided some. We had two wonderful pastas - and shared a asparagus/Burrata appetizer which was excellent. Nice Italian wine suggestion. Excellent meal as always!
We come here fairly often and love the food and service . We have noticed a pricing increase on some of the items we always order. The roasted brussel sprouts were 8.00 and our now 12.00.
Dante's will always be a favorite of mine, great experience with our waitress and also the food!
Dante is one of my favorite Omaha restaurants. The consistency and quality are something you can depend on. The menu changes to ensure the fresh seasonal ingredients are the primary focus. Tonight's menu featured lots of fresh asparagus dishes. I had the wood roasted asparagus with fresh barrata. Every bite was so flavorful! My main entree was the Plum Creek Farms chicken with gnocchi and chicken sugo (kind of like au jus). Again, cooked perfectly, flavorful, and so worth it. Service was great, efficient, and friendly. I will be back soon.
Another great meal at Dante. It was a busy Friday night, and the service, food, and wine were 5 stars across the board.
Fabulous roasted whole red snapper. What a feast. Best I have had!
Beautiful seasonal fare! Red snapper, what a treat! I so appreciate fresh fish options along with healthy sides on the specials menu, so I can eat healthy when dining out! Dante definitely deserves to be on Omaha’s list of best restaurants!
Another great experience at Dante’! Chef Strawhecker’s team consistently hit it out of the park. Kudos to Charlotte, Justin, Dustin, and the kitchen staff.
Wonderful meal as always ! The pasta was fabulous.
We’ll be back soon.
Our waitress was horrible - bad attitude, seemed annoyed to be at work.
Always a great time with fantastic, thoughtful service. Constantly evolving menu while maintaining a consistent base of standards. Dante is my favorite restaurant!
Amazing service, good wine, nice atmosphere, and pizzas were tasty. However, it was overpriced in my opinion, compared to other similar style pizza places around Omaha. Great for a restaurant experience, but if you just want good Neopolitan pizza, you'll get a better value elsewhere.
The food and service are fantastic, but it’s a little pricy! Also, pretty loud in the restaurant.
The deserts have continue to evolve and improve. The pizza is the same. Awesome. The fish/seafood the freshest possible........wine.....every region in Italy covered..........staff....insanely knowledgable........the atmosphere fun............and Chef Nick is one of, if not the best in town. And the two hostess as you come in............delightful. And the sommelier.........well....just ask for a bottle
This is our favorite Friday night restaurant. We usually have the Giuseppe, it is delicious. There's just something about the wood-fired pies. The atmosphere is great and the wait staff has been there a long time which says a lot for the management. I am still trying to find a favorite wine there as I am not as knowledgeable about Italian wines and they do not have Napa wines that I am familiar with.
Dante never fails to impress. Eat, drink and be merry! Always memorable, you just feel like you're part of a big Italian family when you're there.
The only reason I gave it 5 stars is because I couldn’t give it 6 or more. Amazing, fresh, real food.
Food was Overpriced and the restaurant had a horrible glare coming through the exterior windows. The ambiance didn’t match a fine dining experience.
Food, wine & cocktail menus always include numerous appealing options. Food always is creatively prepared, beautifully presented, and predictably delicious. We were seated immediately upon arrival for our reservation. Service at onset was great, but service then deteriorated to an EXTREMELY long wait for entrees after had finished appetizers (all ordered at same time) and another long wait after entrees finished before server returned to ask if we wanted dessert.
As always.. awesome
Pasta dishes were excellent. Nice wine list. Amazing butterscotch dessert. Need to use a little less salt in the squid-artichoke appetizer.
Dined on the mussels and great main courses. Over the years we have gone to Dante, we now think first of the variety of special offerings they have, and the pizza (as great as it is) second. And when you add the excellent wine selection and service, every meal is made special.
Excellent service and food. Attentive wait staff.
Dante never disappoints. Fantastic food, great service and atmosphere. One of our favourite restaurants in Omaha!
Second visit for us. Service was good, but food is expensive for what you get. Probably won’t go back.
My wife and I split an order of gluten free Rigatoni Bolognese and a gluten free Margherita pizza. I had a tiramisu with Gelato. It was all wonderful!
The food was excellent—as always. Best pizza in Omaha, and AWESOME carbonara!!!
Unusual flavorful food, so so so good. We bring friends here and they all love it too! We all had something different and everyone raved! We had dessert because we did not want to miss out. Holy moly, we have recalled our last meal at Dante for days and days after our date. Can't wait to go back.
Food was good (pizza was definitely the way to go) but the service was AMAZING. Our waiter was on top of everything and made sure we had an awesome time. Order the butterscotch gelato!
The food was terrible- our veal milanese appetizer was burned and dry. The mushroom pizza was also burned- not just part of the crust but the mushrooms as well. And they didn't have most of the drinks we wanted- including Titos vodka, Dewars Scotch- light beer- It was very disappointing. One person wanted a fish entree and they had run out of all fish the nite before apparently.
Food was awesome as always. Marcus was our wonderful waiter!! See you again soon!
We heard Dante is great. Server was exceptional. Love the locally sourced ingredients. Brussels sprouts were top notch. Salad was very well done. Had the margherita pizza and it was incredibly simple - hardly anything on it and yet $18. All in all a decent meal but fairly overpriced.
Always amazing! Great wine recommendations, fresh cocktails, and nothing beats fresh made pasta.
