The happy hour tapas are outstanding. I recommend a couple of visits: one to try the tapas/happy hour menu and another for the full dining experience.

DaGabi is one of our go-to favorites in our neighborhood. However, for the first time in memory, we had to wait 45 minutes before getting served, and then, only one of our party of four got hers. The rest of us had to wait another ten minutes or so, and only after getting the attention of a staff person. The owner did come over and apologized; he gave us a 15% discount card which we used that evening.

We have eaten at Dagabi for years now. We always loved the food and wait staff is super nice. The last two times we've gone, however, the food was significantly worse. We've had shrimp that was burned in the grill, chicken that looked like it came from a Friday's and veggies that were barely steamed and completely tasteless. The pizza is still good -- best GF crust in town -- but we have been sorely disappointed in everything else. Might be time for a change.

Monday night " tapas" with friends. Stuffed dates with prosciutto, mini pizzas, chicken and pork skewers, mozzarella and tomato, grilled asparagus. Happy hour wines and a cucumber tequila drink, refreshing and tasty. Five friends fed and "watered" for a very reasonable price.

We frequent this place often: great outdoor patio & Antonio pulls from his Toledo, Spain roots for wonderful recipes (grandma's!) The paella, chicken marsala & Zarzuella are all amazing; great salads and *AWESOME* tapas & happy hour.

Looking for something a little different I found Dagabi Cucina hidden on the north side of Boulder. Tucked away behind Lucky's Market this a nice place for an adult night out. The decor is eclectic and rustic, dark and nicely appointed. We went for a romantic Valentine's dinner. The hostess was friendly when greeting us and accommodating when we didn't want to sit next to the back door in the bar. Service was a bit slow after we sat down. Our glasses of wine took almost 10 minutes to arrive after ordering. They were busy but no one seemed to be running around. For appetizers, we ordered the baked oysters which were underwhelming, uninspired and small. The 'shared' caprese salad consisted of 3 hearty tomato slices topped with mozz and a single basil leaf. Again, underwhelming, but at least tasty. We waited probably 20 minutes before our entrees arrived. Our server blamed the 'kitchen being slammed' for the slow services, but several tables who had sat down after us were already eating their dinners. Once the food arrived we were pleasantly surprised after the disappointing appetizers. My seafood paella was delicious with lots of clams, mussels and squid. It could have included a few more shrimp, but the rice was delicious. My wife had the special seafood stew off the Valentine's menu which came with garlic flatbread. Also very tasty and the broth was wonderful. Having been happy with our dinner, we moved onto dessert. My tiramisu was very good and my wife's creme brule was decedent and heavenly. A definite save after a disappointing start. Overall a decent experience, but the service and apps could have been better. We will go back and give them a second chance, maybe on a less busy night.

We don't live nearby but we drive to come here all the time. The happy hour is outstanding and this is the closest we've found to European fare (both Spain & Italy) in the Denver area.

Dined on Friday for a quiet evening prior to the Valentine rush. It was a busy evening any way but the service was excellent and the food as usual great. Wine selections at Happy Hour prices were good also. This remains our go to place in North Boulder.

Staff needs to sharpen up a bit in order to meet the quality of the food half way. Everyone was pleasant and helpful just not attentive. The food was delicious and the value was great.
