    Had to wait 15 minutes for a table despite there being many available. Finally was brought to the absolute worst table in the restaurant, and was told the other empty tables that were much more suitable were already reserved. Which is impossible since we were told we were the last seating. Zero hospitality, have been coming here for years and will probably not be back. Unacceptable to have such inadequate and untrained front staff

    I had my first A5 wagyu steak it was cooked just the way I like it. We were a little confused by our waiter who offered for us to see the steak then came for our order without the presentation otherwise the service was good. The waiter asked us if we would like some bread before our dinner came out I said yes when the bill came the "bread trio" was charged to us it would have been nice to know bread was $20.00. When I made my reservation I let them know it was my wife's birthday it was never mentioned to us at the restaurant

    I was at Cut soon after its opening in 2006. The quality of its food menu was unsurpassed at that time. While the service level has remained top notch, I did not find the food to have maintained the same standards: I found our steaks to be overdone and the beef flavored in a way that left me disappointed. The texture and flavor of our shrimp appetizer also fell a bit short. Other dishes we ordered, such as the corn and potato purée, did live up to expectations. I am hoping for a better food experience on my next visit.

    We spent $1000 last night for a table of 2. It was a special occasion. Sadly, it was ruined by 2 glasses of red wine costing $140. If you going to charge that much for red wine, make sure you tell me first. Also, the ambiance is lacking. The lights were only dimmed at the end of the night. Otherwise, food was exceptional! Service great.

    We where celebrating my father’s birthday, we choose the place for being inside of one of his favourite hotels, we read about the steak house and think what can go wrong? 1. They didnt had the vintage champagne we’re looking for (a common one, Dom Pergnion) and started to felt a pressure to order another one like in a random way, it was wierd, we finally decide for a bollinger 2008 it was a Good option . 2. Terrible meat. My father ordered a medium-rare eye of the ribeye wagyu and he recived a full ribeye, zero moist, no buttery flavor, too salty to be eaten. My wife and I split a medium-rare filet mignon wagyu, and same story: no wagyu vibes, súper dry, súper salty, definitive not a 100 dlls cut. It was like the cuts spend too long wating for beign served or something like that… 3. We order 3 sides, (spinach, french fries and the mushrooms with shishitos) and no one told us it was a lot of food for the 3 of us, we practically left the side dishes half full What was good: 1. Great sommelier (unfortunely he wasnt there for the champagne para, but great for the wine desicion a nice Caymus) 2. Great kumamoto oysters and the gulf shrimp particularly the horseradish sauce ufff! 3. Great interior design, beautiful, also the flatware for serving Our recomendation if you wants to eat there, when they pass you the board with the raw meat, choose the tomahawk and Mark it with a knife to be sure is the same meat.

    The server, I think he was David made my fiancés night. It’s been so rough for her and while he didn’t know, I hadn’t seen her smile for a week from bereavement. It was also her birthday… david and staff were just tremendous. I was really moved.

    We had been to Cut before it received their Michelin Star and it was good then. It’s even better now! Service was above and beyond. The food exquisite! I had the eye of ribeye with grilled onions! Cooked to perfection. Cut made our 27th Anniversary extra special!

    Yes, the prices are high for the average consumer, but it is worth the money. I was impressed with the quality of the food--from the bread basket to the steaks to the Baked Alaska--and the incredible service and ambiance. We were made to feel quite welcome and given excellent guidance for ordering. My mocktail of a Double Happiness might have been the most delicious drink I have ever ordered anywhere. Treat yourself to a special night out at Cut--you will not be sorry.
