Crispy Louisiana Gulf Shrimp, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Cilantro-Lime Mayo
Horrible service. Basically we were forgotten by our waitress. Food was cold when it came. Drinks took 30 mins to come and the restaurant was not full. Server forgot to put items in the system and also came out with wrong drinks. Disappointing. Not worth it.
I don’t know Yelpers think is special about this place. Hostess was terrible (we had a reservation and there was tons of seating, and she made us feel like we were an inconvenience). With the exception of the duck gumbo, food was mediocre at best. At least the server was nice, but admittedly hadn’t tried much on the menu. I wouldn’t recommend this place in its current form. They have a lot to fix
It took FOREVER to get the attention of our service. We had to go to another table to get a cocktail menu. No waters were provided when we sat down. It took 15 mins to get our drink order. It took another 15 mins to take our dinner order. It took another 20 minutes to get our food. The restaurant was NOT busy. The server was VERY inattentive. Several other tables around us was also frustrated experiencing the same. Fortunately, the only positive was the food came out warm and was decent. I still would likely NOT come back here.
We went for a birthday brunch and had two extra people than our reservation was booked for but the hostess was so nice and accommodated accordingly. The food was amazing - the favorites were Eggs Ponchatrain, Chicken and Waffles, and the fried Deviled Eggs. Our server was precious and very patient with our large table! You also can't beat bottomless mimosas priced at $12. Would highly recommend for brunch if you're in the French Quarters.
Great wait staff who kept telling us that our food “was on the way” for 30 minutes. Noise level almost unbearable. Chicken BLT had the thinnest slices of tomato ever recorded and also included slices of dill pickle (not mentioned on the menu). Bread resembled thick loaf bread. Wife’s quiche was fine. Not a good experience.
Good was delicious and prices were very fair. Upstairs dining area was pretty noisy.
Great food and environment
Service was terrible. Dylan our server was completely unhelpful, not friendly, was unable to help us with the menu and was short with us. The Caprese salad drenched in dressing, burger was overcooked and dry, the Moscow mule tasted like lime juice, no ginger or vodka. Don't waste time, poor service and mediocre food.
This place was so noisy. All the pictures make the place look a lot more upscale than it really is.
We really enjoyed having Kevin as our server, he did a great job! We love the food here and their bottomless mimosas are on point 👍🏼
The food and service was horrible.
It was amazing! Our server Kevin was great and the food was more than I expected! Amazing and would definitely go again!
Seriously only go here for the ambiance or the bottomless mimosas/blood marys
I wish we could have had a better experience because I was really excited to try their food. We got there for our reservation, and was lead to our table. We waited about 15 minutes and our waiter came and took our drink order, and after another 10 waiting for our drinks, a nice couple came over to us and let us know that they have been sitting there waiting for their food for over an hour a half.. we asked the waiter (who was great by the way) and he was honest and said it would be a while for the food. We finished our drinks, and while doing so the couple had received their food and it was cold to the touch and she found a hair in it.
Not sure what happened, but you would think that over one of the bigger Mardi Gras weekends they would figure their kitchen out
Bad service, ordered and waited 1 hour 20 min before getting appetizers both of which were cold (and not meant to be). Honestly worst food experience we have ever had. Drinks were good.
We showed up for our 7:30pm reservation and didn't get seated until 7:54. We got drinks fairly quickly and ordered an appetizer that took forever to come out, more than 30 minutes. It was tasty, but a bit cold. We ordered our meal before the appetizer came, took forever, the waiter kept telling us the kitchen "was a little backed up". We finally got our meal, mine was cold and my wife's had a hair in it. We paid for our drinks and left. AWFUL. Don't go
Our food took over an hour to come out and some of it was cold. The crab cake and a lot of shell pieces in it that kept getting trapped in our teeth. We ended up sending them back.
Our party of six waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for sandwiches that were mediocre and overpriced.
Waiter was very nice and bottomless Mimosa and Bloody Mary beverages were a welcome offering and definitely worth it since waiter said kitchen would need about 45 minutes after we ordered to be served. In the end, it was 70 minutes. Luckily we were not in rush, but was definitely an extreme about of time to wait for food. Also, some items on the printed menu were not available by noon on a Saturday.
Service rushed and unprofessional food mediocre. If it were a movie I’d been bored to death

I feel like the we had to ask for everything! Napkins, silverware, napkins for drinks, and it took a while before these things were brought to our table.

Great brunch and cocktails
Thank you Emily! We hope to see you on your next visit to New Orleans!
Stopped in for a bite to eat. Staff was gracious and accommodating. Loved being up on the balcony
Good location, but uninspiring dining. In this city one can do better.

Charged full price for crawfish pasta without crawfish (only vegetarian entree option). Everything took a long time. My husband’s food was cold so he sent it back. Waitress wasn’t concerned that it was cold. Ordered a side of grits after the small bowl of full-priced pasta wasn’t enough. After 10 minutes, they told me all of the grits were already covered in gravy (which I don’t eat as a vegetarian). Left still hungry. Good thing for Cafe du Mond.

The staff was accommodating with our schedule and number. My dish was delicious, the salmon and greens, but my husbands pasta was very skimpy on the crawfish. The chicken dish was very dry. My husband's drink was expensive and lacking in gin. Having been to Peche, we expected much better food and experience. Granted it was NYE but that should not be an excuse.

Our serve Kyle was great. Everyone was taken care of. The food was perfect. Great way to start our NYE before ringing in the new year.
Our server Gavin was super friendly and worked hard to ensure that we had a great time. The grits tater tots was a great dish. They sat at our table on time. I would definitely recommend it to friends.
Not sure why the service was inadequate, the waitress seemed to be really busy running from table to table(staff shortness?). Food was good but it was let down by the service and food turned up warm to hot. Was expecting more based on reviews , maybe just an off night ? Eaten at other restaurants in NOLA and didn’t receive this low level of service. Feel bad writing this as the young girl was nice and not her fault for being rushed off her feet.

We went there for the fried grits and the experience and food did not disappoint. From the time we reserved a table through Open Table, to the moment we left, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the whole scene was warm and welcoming.
We kept being told that the fish of the day was gulf fish. That’s not a species of fish. I felt like they were used to dealing with tourists who maybe didn’t know better, but couldn’t really actually answer any questions we had about the menu.
We were really excited about trying Curio out. It’s in the French Quarter and the decor has that New Orleans vibe. Our first course came out quick and was pretty tasty (grit tots). Our main courses took 50 minutes to come out. We literally had been trying to flag down a waiter to just cancel our order and leave. My steak salad was gross. There was way too much “onion dressing” dressing. It tasted like onion ranch soup. The steak, which I ordered medium rare, was very well done and chewy. They also put some sort of sauce on it that made it sweet. So it basically tasted like candied beef jerky. My fiancé took a bite of the steak and had to spit it out. My fiancé got biscuits and gravy which were OK, but the gravy separated. No one acknowledged, apologized, or explained why it took 50 minutes to get our food. At one point 0 tables in the restaurant had food on them. Very disappointed. We ended up eating a second brunch at Caine and Table.
The food was just fair and the service was horrible. Multiple items were late or flat out forgotten.
0/10 would NOT RECOMMEND! This restaurant was terrible. Don’t know why there are so many positive reviews the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced, it took literally one hour to get our drinks and then another 20 minutes to get our food. Server was unknowledgeable and bizarre, not to mention tried to hit on me in front of my parents!!! We did tell the manager of our issues and had nothing compensated in return.
Food was great. Service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. We ordered the bottomless mimosas and our glasses were never empty.
Booked for a Christmas dinner, service was excellent, food was good, but doors were open and it was cold and sat close to bar, with no ambiance for dinner. Therefore we ordered only appetizers and finished our dinner early.
After being seated upstairs, we had to wait about 12 minutes before a server noticed and asked if we had been waited on. During the meal, my daughter asked for a water refill but server failed to come back. It was very noisy and there wasn’t anything - food wise or ambience wise- that would make me go back. While the food was okay, there are too many other awesome dining experiences to choose from in New Orleans. Reserved here because I knew they were open on Christmas Day.
The restaurant was not equipped to handle the Christmas crowd.... server did warn us when we ordered... waited a very long time for each course, and then 2 of our entrees had to be sent back bc they were cold. Food was better than we thought it would be, but I don’t think I’d take a chance again...
Curio is one of my favorite special-occasion restaurants.
The soup of the day; crawfish and corn bisque was spectacular and I love the Caesar salad with oysters as my entre.
Our waitress was wonderful 😍‼️
We got our food one hour and 45 minutes after we sat at the table...
Luckily the bottomless mimosas helped greatly
