Culinary Dropout - Denver
We had Kiara as our waitress and she was really good. The food runners has a minor issue while we were there , but the mgt team apologized to us and took care of our appetizers.
Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu.
CD is a vibe
Service started out slow but our server was lovely once she came over (after about 20 minutes). The pretzels with cheese fondue were very good. My daughter loved the mushroom deep dish pizza and my chicken chopped salad was okay.
This place was awesome! I got the vegan curry which was SO good and my husband got the steak frites. We also did a few things from the make your own charcuterie board and the brussels/bread were fantastic. The restaurant itself is super cool with TVs all over and live music and the service was great! Highly recommend.
Incredible staff, fresh menu, delicious drinks, and the crispy bread is a must!
Server was very good and knowledgeable. Both bar and kitchen were slow.
This place is wonderful. It was my second time. Drinks were great and the food was delicious. I will return and probably many times as it walking distance to me. :)
10/10 definitely eating here again - the food was fantastic, the services Was so quick and attentive, and everything was just a great vibe.
Food was ok. I’d go back though. Server was awesome. Very sweet, friendly and attentive. I can see why people have commented on the very loud noise level. It didn’t bother me but I can see why it would irritate people in a large party trying to talk to one another.
We had our appetizers and entrees come out at the same time before being served water or our drinks. Very standard stuff and unfortunately ruined a special evening for my date and I.
Very nice place chill spot cute date good space room
Great food and drinks! Server was great but a little over-tasked (what servers aren’t these days?) an interesting menu with lots of variety for the different tastes in your party. We’ll be back soon!
Lots of food yummy food and drink options. Live music made for a fun brunch!
The food lacked so much seasoning, and for the price not worth the value
the food and service were excellent. the noise level with the dj playing music was unacceptable. i told the server we would not return a second time if the music was playing.
Several repeat visits because we love the playful vibe of this neighborhood restaurant that we can walk to and the food is good. Tonight we asked to be moved because of loud music. Quickly they asked where we would like to move and offered to lower the music without skipping a heartbeat! Now that is customer service AND they checked later to see if this was better! Oh it was, the service was great and the food plentiful and delicious! And when you ask for a extra dirty, very cold, martini with blue cheese olives…that is what you get. Be back soon.
Loved it! Such a cool venue and the food was amazing!
Cool decor but food was mediocre... ordered GOCHUJANG BRUSSELS SPROUTS, PROSCIUTTO DEVILED EGGS, THE PUB BURGER and FRIED CHICKEN. Brussels were the best out of all. Eggs seem to have bacon bits on top, didn't seem like prosciutto. Burger had a pretty intense char flavor to it and the chicken was a tad too pink on a piece for my liking. Sweet place for a drink and appetizers with friends, but food not up to par for a date night :-/
Good but not great ribs. Of course I hail from Kc. High standards. Service was outstanding. Will definitely go back.
Waiter was excellent, loved the ambiance/vibe. Had to move tables to talk as live music was loud. Food was great for most, mine was disappointing. I will definitely go back.
Awesome fried chicken!!
Great experience at Culinary Dropout! After eating at the Scottsdale AZ location in 2021 I was hooked!! So glad this restaurant has come to Denver, my absolute favorite!!
Sadly, I was underwhelmed. My expectations were high as I had been to the Scottsdale location many times and absolutely loved it. The food was just not as good I'm sorry to say.
It’s always delicious. Love CD can’t remember my waiters name but he did a great job and was very friendly.
This new spot has a fun atmosphere and all the food I have tried thus far is delicious! I had a salad, but I've tried the mushroom pizza and the pretzel bites with cheese and they have all been really good. There aren't any happy hours that I am aware of (which would be amazing), but they have lots of fun drinks and TVs to watch games. It can be a bit pricey, so budget for that if you plan on going and having a few drinks with your meal. Each time I've been the service has been great and it is in a fun area, so I would recommend checking it out!
Phenomenal. Great live performance at the perfect volume, amazing food, excellent service, great atmosphere. Really impressed honestly.
Food was good but all menu items were very salty.
Amazing service! Thank you to the GM Amanda for all of her care! Great food and cocktails!
Awesome live music. Great food & service.
Don’t leave without trying the pretzels and provolone!
Birthday but forgot to mention to waitress. Was not mentioned though I listed on the reservation.
Server didn’t know anything about Gluten Allergies and had to go ask and come back for every question.
As is the case with most new restaurants, this one is far too loud due to the many speakers playing loudly. It is difficult to have a conversation, and as more people come in, the noise level increases as people try to talk over the music. There are no quiet places to sit.
However, the reception and wait staffs are superb, and the food is very good. A nice variety of items is available.
Slow service. 25 minutes for two $18 glasses of wine. (restaurant was not that busy) $30 Korean Steak entre not worth it. Was not very Korean at all, it tasted like it was marinated in Teriyaki. It was cooked properly, per the temperature ordered, but was MAYBE 3-5oz. Overall food was incredibly salty and overall just not amazing. Very cool space and energy but not getting a repeat visit from us. Kind of disappointing, to be honest.
Very Denver. The prices are high, food is good and the vibe is essentially blaring club music.
It’s like they are trying to decide whether they are a club or a restaurant, but for now they will do both. This is a great place to go with friends or for drinks, but not for a nice dinner date.
A stable “go to” that never disappoints.
Great service and drinks!
Way too loud! Food came out cold
Great food and environment!
