CULICHITOWN restaurant is dedicated to the typical dishes of the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico; place that is distinguished by its wide gastronomy being seafood the basic ingredient in the preparation of the products that are in the state consumed.

Our restaurant came to the United States thanks to the idea of a “culichi” Misael Guerrero, founder of Culichitown, he wanted to carry out the taste of the food consumed in his hometown was the same as the one consumed by all the Sinaloanses who live in this country.

The service started off rocky when we stated we spoke English and they switched our service. The service was great, attentive, and speedy. Ordered the roca shrimp which was delicious. Next I ordered the hamburger, which was a literal steak and overcooked, I couldn’t chew or cut up. They asked if I wanted them to recook with their other burger. It was also not good. They were overpriced.

Went for father’s day and waited for over an hour to receive our food. Server rarely acknowledged us. I had to get up and ask different servers for items because I couldn’t not locate our server. They had live music which is nice however it went on for too long and it was really hard to listen to each other. We were sat right in from of windows as the sun was coming down and I attempted to ask our server if there was maybe a curtain they could pull down but couldn’t locate him at all. All of our food came at very different times. Some people were done eating while others were still waiting for their items. Ended up taking the last item to go because it was taking too long. In total, we were there for over 2 1/2 hours most of which was spent waiting. Spoke to the manager and he said we should know it’s going to be busy because it’s father’s day, which I also acknowledged. However, if this is his perspective then he should’ve known to make sure to schedule a full staff so to avoid these problems. He also said if he gave me a discount then he would have to give everyone else one and that he wasn’t allowed to give discounts, which is hard to believe as he’s the manager. Overall, just a bad experience.

I wouldn’t go back to any of their chain restaurants again. Went for a birthday having high hopes and was let down all around

Super amazing place ! amazing vibes all around. Food was amazing and very delicious. Came out super quick. Very attentive. 10/10!!

The food came out quick, not the best very bland except for the empanadas which had great taste. Very light and fluffy server. Had bit of an attitude seeing that she did not want to be there. I get it. It's been a long week
