It is an excellent food The staff need to explain those who do not know much about Japanese food. The sets menu are the best and plenty but if you go t separates it can be very expensive

I have dined here a few times, but this will undoubtedly be my last. The table next to us was involved in what I can only describe as an 'marital altercation' which ended up with broken glass flying everywhere, including on the table we were sitting at and the seat by my partner. We moved to another table, and everything seemed OK until the end. I was greeted with my bill, and the waitress highlighted that service was not included and that their recommended service payment was 15%. I was bemused and asked her why she would even suggest we add service after the incident and issues, and she was so arrogant it was uncanny. I am all about principle, and the fact that they were so arrogant and showed zero regard for their clientele's experience is certainly telling. Incidentally, I was at the Ivy the following day, and the level of service for somewhere that costs a fraction of the price was like chalk and cheese. More than happy to pay several hundred pounds to dine at fine restaurants, but the service must be in keeping with the overall experience, which demands this.

The five piece Nigiri was outstanding and the eel roll and fatty tuna maki was a highlight, but the stand out of the meal was the matcha fondant and match ice cream. The servers were very polite and welcoming and the overall atmosphere was very intimate and peaceful.

Always have an amazing time at Cubé. The Omakase is my favorite in London. It is delicious but not over priced. Service is also consistently good.
