They tossed us outside with a reservation two months prior. The soup tasted horrid and cold. The hostess and one of the servers told us to leave if we didn't like sitting outside. The co-owner promised to coupon to return and never followed through. The place has gone downhill since they expanded. The service is horrible as well and we just will not ever go back.

I was here for crepes with a good friend, who loves it. ENVIRONMENT/AMBIANCE The service was prompt and responsive. The nice weather encouraged seating out front of the cafe, at a table beside the fountain and views of a tree-lined street. The setting was quiet, bright, and natural. I recall tablecloth setting, but can't remember if it was simple color or patterned oilcloth. It struck me as a pleasant place to catch up with friends. FOOD While the sweet crepes were delicious (lemon and sugar; nutella) were just the right amount of eggy-ness, and neatly prepared. In particular, the lemon did not overwhelm the more delicate crepe flavor, or feel over-sweet, as I've experienced at other places. The savory crepe for my meal used more butter than I felt necessary. My particular meal came with a bechamel sauce, which combined with the excess butter pooling from the crepe to overwhelm some of the other delicate flavors in the crepe. The chicken became more of a textural agent than a flavor of its own - either by the strength of the sauce or its own preparation method. Perhaps next time I'll get something without a sauce, or select a meat/protein with a stronger inherent flavor. OVERALL 4/5 Stars for a pretty setting, great service, and a nice meal. I would come back for the same kind of thing, but maybe order a more simple crepe.
