On a mission to share the beauty of Mexican culture through food, Chef Johnny Curiel opens Cozobi Fonda Fina as an encore to his beloved LoHi restaurant, Alma Fonda Fina. Named after Cozobi, the Zapotec god of corn, Cozobi Fonda Fina is rooted in Mexico’s centuries-old corn nixtamalization traditions and wood-fire cooking techniques that define its rich food history.

The food here is AMAZING. I have tried their sister restaurant Alma Fonda Fina so I was extied to try Cozobi. The food was excellent, the service was great, the wine was great, and the restaurant is very pretty.

A wonderful meal at the end of the GBTA conference in Denver. Our team ate a wonderful meal. Food was fine dining standard, as was the service.

Enjoyed Happy Hour and then stayed for more tastes from the consistently delicious menu offerings. My favorite was the Hokkaido Scallop. Also loved the tostado de atun and enmolada de pollo

We were blown away by the originality and the flavor of every item we ordered - spectacular and memorable! We sat at “the counter” which was a treat as our server Josh was also one of the chefs and we could watch the preparation. Josh was amazing. Two thumbs up and full five stars, can’t wait to come back with more friends!

Chef's table was divine. We ordered happy hour margs which were scrumptious, happy hour apps and the roasted sweet potato side that is to die for. It's a lovely restaurant, has very pleasant servers, and importantly, gorgeous, creative and mouthwatering food.

The food was exceptional. They suggest 3-4 items per 2 people, we probably could have done 2 and still been full, the food was fantastic, very rich so very filling. We were pleasantly surprised to be accommodated when we arrived an hour early in a different section of the restaurant.
