Connie and Ted's
Enjoy one (or two) of 24 California craft beers on tap, while sampling from our large variety of oysters, clams and shellfish, shucked to order, at our Raw Bar. Wind down the day with a classic cocktail at the bar, or enjoy a warm lobster roll outside on the covered, open-air patio overlooking Santa Monica Boulevard.
The LOBSTER ROLL....yummmmmm!!!! Get it hot, with butter....that toasted delicious, buttery, crispy bread with the lobster on top was delightful...every single bite had my taste buds dancing! For dessert I got the blondie with salted caramel and ice cream - so delish! I almost licked the plate...but then I remembered other people were there. :) Also got the grilled calamari as my appetizer. It was good, but I probably wouldn't order that again.
They are a fish restaurant that didn't have any fish. Service was horrible!!
The food was great the environment was great - service (we sat at the bar) was pretty good once the rush relaxed. The food was definitely the star of the show and the live Uni took the grand prize. Well done.
Very good food and server was very helpful and knowledgeable
Wonderful time! Came in for a few drinks and some oysters.
Whenever I make a stop in West Hollywood, I always make this a Destiination. I can always get fresh seafood, incredible oysters, and one of the best lobster rolls on the West Coast. All that bundled together with amazing, unique cocktails and a great staff make it incredible dining for lunch or dinner.
great food and drinks!
Absolutely incredible cooking...restaurant is a little loud for my taste but everything else is first class
We were seated outside right under a heat lamp. Had the tuna melt off the DineLA menu. It was delish! Wish they had a kids menu. Otherwise, it was a nice lunch for the entire fam!
Overpriced for the food quality. They missed the mark on the clam chowder. The lobster rolls were too greasy. Great ambience!
Best service and the food is amazinf
I always love Connie and Ted's. The food is always fresh and delicious. And the atmosphere is fun and easy.
First table was awful but we were allowed to switch to a slightly better one with no problem. The food was amazing.
The hot lobster rolls and the clam chowders were delicious! Service very attentive. We have gone there numerous times to celebrate birthdays.
As always the food & service is superb.
Sat on the patio, where the noise level is less
If you love de fresh seafood you have to go.
Are waitress had a bit of an attitude. The lobster was smaller than I remembered. But fresh and tasty food !
When the restaurant first opened, they captured the flavors of Eastern Shore seafood with great success. Now, while the food is still very good, it lacks the authenticity of the inspiration for it.
Nice variety of seafood and fish. Very good desserts. We enjoyed our meal, and our server, Jake was efficient and friendly. We'll be coming back!
Love this place...
The food at Connie and Ted’s is overall pretty good if a little overpriced. The waitstaff is good but the service at the host station is terrible. I have been there several times where I’ve had to wait at least 20 minutes for my “reserved” table. The reaction from the host and hostess are indifference. Can’t muster an apology for the wait or anything at all. It ruins the whole start to a meal. Food there is too expensive to be treated like it’s a Long John Silver’s. I’m sick of waiting for a table- especially since they really do give away your table if you are late at all.
The trio soup sampler is delicious. The Rhode Island was my favorite. The smoked fish dip was good but the homemade crackers were tasteless. My husband had the crab cake and it was nothing like we expected. It was not chucks of crab. It was more like a ground up premade crab cakes. Would not recommend. Oh, and they ran out of Tito’s.
It was fun
Shift change happened in the middle of dinner
Connie & Ted's is a marvelous restaurant. The food is outstanding as are the drinks. I love the place!
Excellent oysters. Also licked the tuna melt and the shrimp and grits.
The clams, shellfish, and all the fish taste very fresh. Connie and Ted's always has interesting combinations, too. My one tiny little complaint is I think you put too many ingredients in your special cocktails - they would be better with fewer competing flavors. They were kind enough to make me one and leave an ingredient I didn't want out - and I liked it very much.
Far too expensive for what you receive. On EVERY level. Small portions, fried clams and french fries - 25% clams and 75% french fries, crab louie salad that was more chopped egg than crab, full dinner salads served in something the size of a soup bowl. This has happened repeatedly on our past 3 visits. Will not be returning.
Everything delicious. Needed more non-fish selections.
Took my mom here for an after Christmas treat. We are from Rhode Island so know the real thing and this is it...As good as the best restaurants on the east coast. Steamers were my favorite and my mom loved the fried clams WITH the bellies, which are hard to find. 🙌🏼
Excellent seafood in a nautical atmosphere. We were there on Christmas Eve and though it was crowded, we received excellent service. For the money, this is the best seafood restaurant in LA.
Even though i made a reservation and showed up 10mins earlier, the server let other people that came later than me. I felt like the servers only cares big groups only rather than 2 people. Besides that, the food was good and like their beer variety.
We always love Connie and Ted's. The manager is fantastic! He called me to tell me they had availability for our party after I had given up. Food is always great too.
I have enjoyed Connie and Ted's for many years, having birthday dinners there several times a year. But this last visit, was very disappointing, I don't know if we will be back. The service was just terrible. We ordered two or oyster shooters, one with alcohol, one without. They came, and poured the shooters from one pitcher, which had alcohol in it. We asked for one with no alcohol again, 15 minutes later, after we asked where the shooter was, we finally had that nonalcoholic oyster shooter. A martini was ordered, after 15 minutes, I asked for it again, the waiter went to the bar, then came all the way back to the table, and asked me what I had ordered, so he apparently never put in that order. I made the reservation under open table, and said that it was my birthday. My friends told the host that it was my birthday, and my friends told the waiter that it was my birthday. When the desert that we ordered came, I commented that normally it comes with a candle, because there was none. The waiter went and got the candle. He did graciously take off the oyster shooter and the martini from the bill, after one of my friends asked. We all said we would not do the next birthday dinner at Connie and Ted's. It's a shame, I've always looked forward to going there, but on this visit, too many things went wrong.
Like an EC lobster or crab house, but without all the hammers. Craft beers, great wine select and a casual vibe make this an ideal spot for friends and family to gather & celebrate.
True New England eatery especially the gastronomic clam cakes and “stuffers” of Rhode Island. Loved it! Austin was attentive waiter
Very fun place for Happy Hour! Wish they had more healthy selections for Happy hour.
Food and waiter were good. The busboy was amazing and ran circles around everyone else! He needs a raise and a promotion!
We were rushed. The entre was brought out to the table before we finished our soup. Seemed rushed. The calamari was salty and the chowder was too thin.
The food and service were very good, the portions were of good size.
My only objection is that the restaurant parking lot charged for parking. I get it that parking in LA is tight but I have been to many other restaurants in the area where the parking is free.
