We love seafood and this place was the perfect seafood place, the New England chowder was out of this world! We loved the lobster and the black cod, tried the smoke fish dip! Everything was healthy and fresh!!
Connie and Ted’s is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is always excellent, as is the perfect service. Everyone we introduce to Connie and Ted’s LOVES it! I can never resist ordering their incredible lobster roll with drawn butter, which comes with the best-EVER fries! Can’t wait to go back!
The food made me sick.
MANHATTAN CLAM CHOWDER VERY GOOD. IPSWICH CLAMS TERRIFIC. OYSTERS GOOD, CRAB CAKE FAIR. WAITER FORGOT THE FRIES - NEVER CAME.
Food was great but Colleen was an amazing server and absolutely made our night. Fun, light hearted and handled a really busy section like a total pro.
Dinner got to a slow start…. I’ll cut them some slack, it was busy.
Cocktails were a perfect start, I recommend the Lillet cocktail. Oysters were on point and the fish, cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Black Cod. Leave room for dessert and be sure to get a whoopie pie! You can thank me later…
One bad thing, all the noise on Santa Monica Blvd.
Well, this was our first time here, but it certainly won't be the last. They very pointedly set up a bunch of outside seating, some under a tent, some under a roof with fresh air flowing. Tables appropriately spaced. Employees masked, friendly, helpful, patient, and the food (and drink) was excellent.
We will return.
Server gave great advice on both food and wine and was generally awesome!
Everything was great!
service was unacceptably slow. we ordered a gin martini. it took twenty minutes to arrive......
Fantastic experience dining at Connie and Ted’s. Great food, friendly staff, and all around good vibes. Will definitely be back!
Amazing food and service. Best seafood in LA
That kitchen is spotless and run very well. Staff is amazing, food is fantastic. The Born in East La and the Ginger Greyhound are musts
Chowder wasn’t creamy enough, lobster rolls were too soused in butter to taste lobster, service was slow but whatever, steamer clams were salty and anemic. Oysters were solid, including the vinaigrette. Honestly don’t understand the rave reviews here, $180 dollars for two deserves more.
delicious food, nice casual lunch, but pricey.....
Great as always.
First time back in a long time! It was as good as ever.
The food is absolutely incredible I had the most moist sword fish I've ever had! Steamers & crudo equally succulent. Service team is amazing. Highly recommended!
The food was so good it overcame a couple of missteps in the service, the jenkiness of the decor and the aggressiveness of the wines by the glass pricing. Definitely a spot worth going out of your way to experience.
We needed to rush out to make an escape room and they were really flexible and friendly about it. Amazing stuff!
Our favorite "special place! Always excellent!
I know they're doing the best they can in these challenging times.
The food was blah.
The oysters are delicious and the service is on point.
The steamers were great, also mussels in white wine. Good selection of oysters.
The oyster selection is large and quite good. I would highly recommend the mussels in white wine sauce, fish of the day, and wilted spinach with bacon (of course). The ultimate side was the mac n cheese. My only complaint is that it didn't come in a bigger dish! :)
Never a disappointment. Food and service always on point.
Dinner was delicious. Our server seemed to have forgotten us, never checked if we need additional drinks (we did!) or dessert. Very nice busboy did bring us additional drinks after we waited for over 15 minutes to have our plates cleared.
We went to Connie and Ted’s for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The outdoor dining area is large and comfortable with lots of different seating options. The cocktails were delicious- not too sweet and just the right complexity of flavors. The food was tasty, albeit the 1/2 lobster was on the small side. All in all, a very pleasant meal.
This place has really gone down hill. Ambiance used to be lively and upbeat but has been completely stripped away. The food quality also tastes more like a chain restaurant now, the mussels were old and tawny, the oysters were warm and had a fishy smell to them.
The waiter was arrogant and dismissive.
I have been going there since it opened.
Ever since you opened the parking lot for dining the servers and service are terrible!
I would consider not returning!
The food and service were good but there were cockroaches crawling around the outdoor lot
Good service, nice outside with Covid, pricey for food quality. Ex. The salad, I guess it was cobb-ish, had wilted cut Romaine with decent bacon and cheese, but the price was excessive. thanks
Food is always excellent, as is the service ❤️
What an amazing dining experience!! Excellent food , service
And ambiance. Our waiter was very attentive and assisted in accommodating a food allergy.
Everything was deliciously. We will definitely be back!!
Always good, fresh food and good service.
The managers here were former waiters at Providence. They brought their knowledge gained from the finest restaurant in Los Angeles to Connie and Ted's. They are the very best!
Service was ok. The selection of food is poor, it was a birthday celebration and I had to pay for a dessert! Not coming back.
