The food at Comptoir is fresh, healthy, honest and affordable. Comptoir wakes up early to provide customers with unique Lebanese breakfasts to eat in or take away. Visit for lunch and dinner and enjoy all types of interesting and colourful dishes, including hot and cold mezze – perfectly sized for sharing- wraps, salads, tagines, grills and Man’aesh (Lebanese style pizzas). For dessert, nothing is more authentic than the sweet taste of baklawa – Lebanese pastries in a variety of flavours such as date filled semolina and walnut filled flaky pastry. Drinks include freshly squeezed juices, homemade lemonades and Lebanese inspired cocktails. All products can be packaged up and enjoyed on the go. Comptoir caters well for vegetarians as well as for a gluten free diet.

The grill wasn’t working so couldn’t sample the menu as we wanted , I booked the table in advance so would of thought they would of phoned to let us know rather than travelling to them to find we couldn’t have basically any of the meats . It’s put us off going back and there was no discount even though we couldn’t have the menu

Fail safe for a catch up with friends. Good food and service and I like the decor. Been to a few of the same chain and usually pleases everyone in the group!

I've been here a few times now and there just seems to be something missing at the moment. It may have been that it was quiet on a Saturday night near Christmas but it was definitely lacking in any atmosphere. The food was nice and the staff were good but it hasn't been quite the same since the renovation for me.

Very good food, excellent service! We had the shared platter and the waitress was willing to bring lots of pitta bread! The mixed grill was really good.

I took a friend here for her first time. Perfect. She loved the decor - and took pics. The halloumi wrap was packed with flavour, and freshly prepared. Nice beer, too............... ;) The proportions are fairly big, so you need to be hungry.

We're so pleased this place has reopened. The decor is even more bonkers than before, but it works. It's lovely to sit in a booth, too. The menu is a taste sensation. The portions are a bit on the large side for my liking, but the husband was happy about that. The house wine [Lebanese; we tried the white] is excellent. Service is welcoming and friendly. I'll be back soon, and I'm bringing more people.

Enjoyed a really lovely alfresco dinner with two friends on Saturday night. Two of us met up at 6.30 pm to find somewhere for pre-dinner cocktails and noticed the restaurant board displaying 2 cocktails for £10. We actually had a reservation for 7.30 pm but as an outdoor table was available with wonderful views of the Thames and the temperature was 30 degrees, why bother going elsewhere? We sipped on lovely cocktails and nibbled on mixed olives until our friend joined us at 8 pm. The restaurant was extremely busy but the staff remained friendly and attentive throughout and the delicious large mezze platter plus 3 sides we ordered were all promptly served. We ended our meal with tea and coffee and enjoyed an interesting and lighthearted chat with one of the waiting staff who was able to tell us quite a bit about the restaurant chain and also about Spain, his native country. We eventually left the restaurant at around 11.30 pm feeling happy and satisfied.
