    🇱🇨 Compere Lapin is an amazing experience. The food was flavorful and well thought out. We had the biscuits, tuna tartare, duo of beef and curry goat with sweet potato gnocchi. The mango brûlée was perfect for dessert. 🇱🇨

    This is our favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Everything about it, from the ambience to the talent of the bartenders and great cocktails to the hospitality of the service to the amazing food, is what keeps us coming back whenever we’re in town. Last night I brought my sisters, who live here but have never been! They’ll be back. And so will we. Thank you so much, Chef Nina & Mr. Larry!

    Had high expectations for this restaurant, high ratings, and third-party reviews by locals. Yet service was subpar, inattentive, continual lag of side plates, and cutlery with every course, server addressed us with pockets in his hands… disinterested. No one smiled. Felt more like a casual than the restaurant it was touted to be.

    Small portions. Expensive drinks and small amounts, glass had to much ice. Did I say small portions ? Not smoked pigs ear, pig ear crackling more accurate. Make that thin strips. Pork belly was barely 4 oz ? Flavors ok. Disappointed. Won’t be back.

    We had a very nice time. We had not been here in a long time and thought the 10th Anniversary meal was a fun idea, so we decided to give it a try. It was consistently good throughout the 4 courses and we were pleased with our meal.

    The food is absolutely incredible. A great spot to dive into Caribbean style food with a Cajun/french twist. This is a crowd pleaser. Don’t miss the fried chicken!
