Truffle Uni Pasta
shaved truffle, green nori linguini, creamy uni sauce, fish roe
Delicious food and great service. My date and I were pleasantly surprised because it exceeded our expectations. Such a gem and underrated!
We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted at the hostess desk, we had reservations. The restaurant was less than half full with customers yet we had to wait to be seated, wait to order a drink, wait to order dinner, wait to order more drinks. I watched as the waitress folded napkins after I asked for a drink, I had to remind her. We didn’t understand because it was not at all crowded but we had to wave our arms several times to get service. I wouldn’t go back.
While on the pricier side if you consider how small the portions are, the food is always good here! Interesting mix of cuisines in this menu, perfect for a date night. We ordered a little bit of everything. Their uni pasta is definitely a must-try. The sea bass is perfect, with delicious spinach.
Server was awesome. Great location and good vibe. Menu has lots of options to choose from and has a mix of all Asian cuisines. With that said, the quality of sushi is not great. You won’t get sick but it’s just low grade. Been here a couple times now and it’s just not great food.
Awesome experience I chose indoor seating and was only offered outdoor bc overbooked. But all i. All the experience was excellent from drinks to awesome food. Me and my date from Atlanta was impressed. This is a must on your list of elegant restaurants.
It’s not as good as it used to be. Based off the mew menu items, I thought I came to a chinese restaurant. Not sure if the owner/management changed but wasn’t thrilled to see the expanded menu, they should’ve kept it smaller like they used to.
Wonderful staff. Delicious seafood and dim sum. Music level way too loud so we requested to dine outside.
Really stale sushi rice. Great dim sum.
Would never order their sushi again.
I live six minutes away — this is one of my favorite restaurants! Amazingly fresh oysters (I had two dozen last night) and the bartenders know how to make my special Margarita (think egg white to create a foamy top), and the service is flawless!
All of the fish, raw bar, sashimi, cooked is Michelin-star quality!
It gets very busy, so I generally book a 6pm resy. Last night, a Tuesday, the place was super busy it’s that great!
Server was great however was overwhelmed with too many tables.
Overall the food was great! Highly recommend the uni truffle pasta. Service was just ok, it took a server 20 minutes to greet our table. Other than that, everything was fine.
Food was amazing. Hostess was super rude!
The food was outstanding, everything tasted as it was described on the menu. The service was very good, staff knew the menu and could recommend certain dishes. Prepared well and very nicely seasoned. Only complaint was that the music was a bit too loud
Sat for 30 mins in a not too busy restaurant waiting for service. In arms length on both sides of me were two tables which both had customers with servers, who while I was sitting there waiting, served other customers food and drinks, practically bumping into me to serve other patrons, but never did it occur to them to ask, if I needed water, or if I had a server?? After being patient, I complained to one of the servers in arms length and asked if they were the server to which they said no and they would call the manager... Which that’s an odd choice, they could’ve easily rectified the situation and said, hey I see you have no water and no one has taken your order, let me help you... After 10 minutes the manager shows up, (who mind you is the same manager who checked me in and sent me to a section with no server) and says a server will be right with you... He gave no apology and within another 10 minutes a server showed up, and again no apology, said they were on break and ready to take my order.... Now I would not have left a review and forgiven all of this, but the food sucked... The eggplant appetizer smelled foul and spoiled, the fish was soggy and cooked with the same attention they gave my check in process... And the desert tasted like gluten-free gas station cookies! I would avoid this place if you care about seafood.
Will definitely go here again!!!
Food was delicious!
The ends of the Crunchy Pork Belly appetizer were burnt. They never should have been served. The rest of the food was tasty.
They had out waiter waiting us and bar tending making it extremely difficult for her and frustrating for us to get our meals or anything for that matter. The manager was also waiting tables and did nothing about the bao bao we complained which was severely undercooked and stuck to the parchment paper. Vegetable rolls were basic and unappealing. Overall the best thing was the drinks. But wouldn’t come back
Went for morhers day. Great service and delicious food. Great music!
The restaurant ambiance is great if you are looking for a party, energetic environment.
The restaurant is in a warehouse type building with music blaring and a pretty modern, minimal decor.
The food was delicious and they had a nice variety of raw foods, sushi and cooked fish and noodles. We really liked the grilled fish, rolls and the raw yellowtail carpaccio.
Unfortunately the service was awful. While the server was friendly she was absent most of the time. She came once to take our order and we didn't see her till we were basically done. We ordered appetizers and small plates in addition to entrees. All the food was brought out at the same time. It literally filled our table and there was no room for our plates. That didn't really matter though because we had no plates, napkins or silverware.
We eventually flagged someone down and they got us the plates etc.
Beautiful ambiance. The service was good but a little slow.
The food was spectacular and delicious. Will be going again.
This place was the bomb for seafood and sushi. The upstairs outdoor seating was fab. the music was perfect and the attention from the servers was great. The quality and presentation of the food was wonderful and beyond what I expected. The Orange Chicken, Sea Bass, Garlic noodles with shrimp and Shrimp dumplings were superb. A must try in Beverly Hills. Went back the next night.
Food was excellent and great value. But only two servers , who also seated guests , took orders on the phone and answered phone calls, and did the bar tending. The heaters outside did not work and no time for the server to fix this . So we couldn’t wait to get what we ordered and leave.
Food was great!
Each dish we tried was delicious.
We had never been there before. Had a great evening. I highly recommend!!
Excellent food! Servers were so friendly!! Music was too loud for my taste. I did not say anything though.
Service and food was good. Unfortunately had to send back one item, it was served at room temperature instead of hot. The waitress was very sweet. A little pricey for what we ordered. We willl return, we generally like the food.
Was very unimpressed with the food! I honestly didn't like anything we ordered.
Good food and music!
C.O.D Seafood & Raw Bar had an great ambience. I live in the area and always come across this restaurant but finally decided to try it. I recommend the Garlic Shrimp Noodles and the Squid Ink Noodles. The oysters were fresh and served with some lemons. I never do reviews but I decided to do one today! Overall, great experience and will definitely dine again.
Really good food, good service , low on ambiance but worth a dinner
The food is absolutely delicious. Our waitress was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Overall it was a wonderful experience for all of us. Again, the food was exceptional. We will be returning regularly to this restaurant.
Great service, great food, great drinks, overall good experience
food was amazing. drinks were even better. however, every table was full and there was only one server, who was also the bartender. what should have been a quick dinner with friends turned into waiting for our order to be taken for like 2 hours. if you have time, 10/10. if you don’t, 5/10.
Everything was so delicious my favorite new spot!
Sea Bass is amazing!
Very good food! Staff was okay.
They tried seating us at the top where it was secluded from music and not a nice vibe, didn’t like that part but the rest was amazing! Will come again
Awesome food and the music was on point!
Jonathan and the rest of the team were amazing. Food was also good. My wife and I will be going there again.
It was awesome.
We had birthdays for our group and they were so excellent helping accommodate. Been here multiple times and been super happy with food and service each time.
