Great !! We really enjoyed our brunch visit here !
Cocha is our favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. The food is unique, creative, and delicious. I love the international wine list. The service is attentive, friendly, and professional. The outdoor dining area is lovely. Enrique and Saskia are exceptional and gracious hosts and owners.
Friendly staff and good food. Service was fast. Neat place
Food and service were great! it is a bit pricey, but worth it.
Waited an hour for food
A very unique establishment with a great layout, variety of seating options & an understated, sophisticated ambiance. Creative, quality chef work happening here. I thought the restaurant had a great personality. The service was above average (our waiter Cameron was excellent, he made quality recommendations), my only knock was that it took the food a while to hit the table. The menu is certainly different, especially for Baton Rouge. There is hands down no better option for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free eaters looking for off the beaten path, locally sourced, eclectic dishes. I had the smoked white bean & duck cassoulet which was excellent, my wife had the osso buco which was complimented by a roasted vegetable medley that stole the show. Will come back and try more of what’s coming out of this kitchen.
It was really nice, the waiters were super helpful and the food was impeccable. It was a bit pricey to go there regularly but a great place to eat for special occasions.
This was our first time here snd it was great!!! The food was wonderful and all the staff excluding the chef/owner were polite and friendly
We took our 3 grandsons for Sunday Brunch and we all enjoyed it. We ordered a variety of items and everything was delicious!
Saturday afternoon late lunch/early dinner. Very welcoming staff and nice mellow atmosphere. We sat inside at a banquette with windows to enjoy the day without the chill. We enjoyed a bottle of wine with the oyster apps. Both there raw and chargrilled are outstanding. The wine board was very tasty too. My Wife & I split the osso buco. Tender, savory and a good recommendation for a cozy comfort dish. No room for dessert but we will be back soon.
It was our first time and we loved the ambiance and the unique food and atmosphere for a LA restaurant. The European feel was a welcome change and we will return and tell others about our experience.
Excellent food and service!
Never disappointed. The food and service are amazing. We drive from Covington just to eat brunch there.
Everything was wonderful...from cocktail to curry to coconut chocolate ice cream. Loved the atmosphere - hope to enjoy the patio space next time.
Was meaning to go to cocha for a very long time since I heard they had Venezuelan fair. I am Venezuelan and Love to try Venezuelan food at different places when it’s available. The cachapaswere very good but were lukewarm. This was very disappointing. The curry was also pretty good but it lacked a pop of flavor.
A bit pricey for the amount of food you’re served at dinner, though it is quite delicious. Cocha has wonderful lighting and decor. The service, and cocktail and wine selections are excellent and I appreciate them sticking to social distancing as we crawl out of this pandemic. I would say I prefer Cocha’s much more reasonable and generous lunch menu at this time.
The best of everything in one brunch... food, wine, staff.... the complete package.
Excellent dining experience with amazing food and great service. Lots of healthy options as well.
Great ambiance. The chocolate ice-cream desert is superb.
We enjoyed another excellent Friday night dinner at Cocha!
It was excellent as always.
Love Cocha and love the owners even more. Enrique and Saska do an incredible job.
We went there for our anniversary and it was amazing! Food, drinks, the whole nine yards.
We went for an early dinner. I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and do enjoy it every time. I love the freshness of the food and the variety in the food menu and even their mixed drinks.
We both tried a couple of whiskey cocktails to start, which if I remembered the names, I would recommend.
For our entrees we ordered the ‘off menu’ paella. It was beautiful ! Each piece of seafood was cooked to perfection, which is always the hardest part of a paella. As a big fan of paella’s, which we have had in numerous countries; I feel that I have a reasonable understanding of the variations and can enjoy the differences. This is not a tomato based, for those who have preferences.
It was seasoned nicely but not overpowering, thus allowing the seafood components to shine. It was a large serving, with lots of seafood. The octopus, which I have often found to over cooked in other establishments, was a large portion and perfect.
We also allowed the sommelier to recommend a bottle of wine. Enjoyed that choice so well, that we bought an extra bottle to take home.
After too much food, we did make room to try the vegan coconut milk based chocolate ice cream- so good.
Highly recommend!! If you have not tried this gem, it is worth a trip.
Visited Cocha on a Saturday for lunch. Beef sliders (a special that day) were wonderful. Freshly ground at the restaurant. Other family members really enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and curried butternut squash soup. Really impressed by the creative and fresh menu. I have never seen such a varied wine list in this sized restaurant. Many wonderful selections from lesser known regions. A delightful Uruguayan Tannat, a crisp Austrian Gruner Veltliner and even a Bordeaux-style red from Lebanon. Aso plenty of options from the usual places. I commend their large number of "by the glass" selections. There will be a wine to perfectly enhance anything on Cocha's eclectic menu. The servers were great. Friendly, informative, attentive, but never obtrusive.
Our service was outstanding and menu was so unique!
Nice food and awesome waiter. We have a great time!
Getting the cocktails and the food right at the same time is important to me. Cocha handled both swimmingly well. I'll be back.
One of the best restaurants in BatonRouge. Different and delicious. The owner is usually there making sure everything is running smoothly and checking on patrons.
Great food service and wine! We sat outside and had a great dinner. Talked to the owner before I went in and made experience even better!
The experience from start to finish was amazing. Great food, friendly and super helpful staff. First class start to finish!
Limited New Year's menu: small portions with high prices. HOWEVER, presentation was excellent; food was mostly flavorful except for the grain/rice accompaniments--those were tasteless. Menu choices were interesting--and dishes were served up quickly. Appreciated the attentive service. VERY clean restaurant. We love that most of the produce is locally sourced. The best (as always) is the passionfruit mousse: a citrusy pudding that is soooo good, it should be available by the quart for take out!
Small portion sizes, limited menu, but the food and experience was very good
We love Cocha! The food is always fresh and perfectly seasoned. We love that the menu changes for not only the food, but also the cocktails. We want to keep returning!!
This was my first time eating at Cocha and I enjoyed it very much. We dined outdoors - a nice seating area with planters lining the edge, tables and umbrellas. It reminded me of sidewalk dining in Europe. I ate the Indonesian noodles with grilled shrimp and my friend had the lobster sliders. Both were excellent and I plan to return soon.
We had a wonderful evening! Cocha updates their fabulous menu frequently, and we were happy to try dishes that weren't going to be on the next menu. The Grilled Spanish Octopus and Seared Scallop and Shrimp Chupe were both delicious! If you haven't tried their grilled oysters, treat yourself to some soon! We will surely order them again on our next trip to try the new menu. The owners always make you feel welcome and appreciated! They surely must love what they do as they are doing an amazing job!
Great food and great service. Very tasty Snapper
Had a wonderful time. Food was amazing. Glad to have a farm to table inBTR
AMAZING! Food was incredible and Juan is one the best there is.
